"Tsukasa...hey, Tsukasa, " you hissed, shaking your arm a little. The ghost boy's eyes opened and he looked up at you. "L/N-chan, why did you wake me up..?" he yawned, stretching himself like a cat. "I have to go home now. I'll see you all later, " you said softly, standing up.
"Ohh, okay!" Tsukasa jumped up and floated over to Sakura. He wrapped himself around her, and she froze, an annoyed look on her face. You walked towards them, an awkward smile on your face. "Sakura-chan, I notice that Tsukasa kind of acts like a..." you stopped your words.
"Like a cat?"
"Nyaa..." Tsukasa meowed as he buried his face in Sakura's green hair. She sighed and closed her book, looking at you with a tired smile. "Mhm, he's always acting like a cat. Don't mind him, ' she explained, trying to pry him off her. "Sakura-chan, how is Tsukasa really like..?" you asked.
"He's childish, and has no sense of personal space, as you can see, " Sakura put her hand on Tsukasa's cheek and pushed him away gently. But just like that, Tsukasa glued himself to her once again. He hugged her tightly, and didn't move at all of Sakura's wriggling and struggles.
"Are you talking smack about me?" "I am, please get down"
"Ahaha..." you laughed softly, sweatdropping a little. "L/N-chan, why do you always have to go back so early? I'd love if you wou'd stay and play with me, " Tsukasa asked, his wide amber eyes innocently looking into your E/C ones. You clutched your bag tighter and looked down.
"I'm sorry. My mother is extremely strict about how long I stay out, so...there's so winning, " you apologized, bowing quickly. Tsukasa hummed in disdain, as Sakura smiled at you reassuringly. "Don't worry, Y/N. We'll all be waiting here, just for you, " she said, making you smile widely.
"Thank you, Sakura-chan! Bye now!" you said, throwing your hand up to wave quickly. You ran out of the broadcasting room, running down the corridor. As you were running outside, you caught a glimpse of the garden. The strawberry was on the ground, back to being red.
Chills ran down your spine as you gazed at it. But you shook your head and continued running back home. Your mother greeted you at the door, a little ticked about you coming home later than she wanted you too. "Y/N, I'm getting worried about this club, " your mother said.
"Why?" you asked immediately, wanting to defend your club. "They're keeping you out quite late, you don't have time for your studies at this rate. Don't you think you should leave the club? It's a waste of time anyway, " your mother explained her concerns. Your heart dropped.
"Mom, I'll find a way to balance it out. But don't make me leave the club. I've made lots of friends there and I don't want to give them up, " even your mother wasn't insinuating anything as drastic as that, you couldn't help but defend your club. They meant a lot to you.
"Relax, Y/N. I'm not saying anything. But the only thing children like you need to do is to just study and get good grades. That's everything you're good for, " your mother said. This struck you hard, and you felt regret bubble up inside you. You clutched your bag tightly in your hands.
"I really was born just to be a pawn..." you mumbled under your breath. "What was that?" your mother asked, looking back at you with a curious expression. You ignored her and ran up to your room, not being able to hold back your tears anymore. If this all you were good for then...
What were your friends for? What was your social life anymore? If everything you had built didn't matter, then what was the point of trying anymore? You closed your door and threw your bag to the ground. Perhaps you were being too emotional, perhaps crying was an overreaction...
But you couldn't help it. Crying and feeling weak sometimes felt the best when you felt useless and like you were nothing. It helped project your emotions in something other than words or a song...more like in incoherent screaming. You reached up to your face to wipe your tears.
"Sakura-chan...this feels selfish to ask for but, please protect me..." you mumbled, sniffling. You thought of Natsuhiko and Mitsuba. And Tsukasa. You smiled slightly when you thought of the childish ghost boy. He made you feel so warm and happy. You were happy he was your friend.
"Crying, are you? Even when you're a Wonder..."
You jumped at the voice. "What..? Who said that!?" you exclaimed, jumping up to your feet immediately. The voice didn't speak again, and you looked around your room. "Is anyone there?" you asked again, a little bit suspicious at this point. The voice didn't reply.
Sighing, you reached up and tapped your head. This was not the time for you to be going insane. "Gosh, Y/N, what are you thinking? You still have years of school to go, you can't lose your mind just yet. Maybe a nap would do the trick..." you murmured to yourself, rubbing your temples.
"What am I doing with my life?"
This was a rather common question people ask themselves when they feel like they were in a dark place in life. If only your mother could see the stress she caused you, maybe life wouldn't be as chaotic as it seems to be. People need to stop viewing their children as little dolls.
Dolls to carry out the tasks they couldn't do.

"I feel like shit..." you mumbled in your bed, feeling numb. You had woken up to throbbing pain in your body, it felt like people had kicked and punched you relentlessly. You rubbed your arms and winced when a sharp pain ran through your veins. This worried you a little.
You sat up in your bed, feeling like you had been beaten up.
