"Y/N-chan, are you feeling alright?" Yashiro asked, tugging your sleeve. You snapped out of your thoughts and nodded. You didn't get a good sleep last night, so you were just a little bit tired. "I'm fine, Nene-chan, just a little bit tired. Didn't sleep too well last night, " you responded.

"You sure? I don't want you falling asleep and getting in trouble..." Yashiro expressed her concerns, sweatdropping at your rather weak smile. "No, really, I'm fine. Thanks for your concern but you don't have to fret too much, " you reassured her, shaking your hand.

"Alright, if you're sure, " Yashiro seemed a little hesitant to leave your place, but she walked back and sat down, taking out a book. You laid your head the desk and groaned at the thought of your exams coming soon. Now your mother was going to be super intense, not giving you breaks.

The teacher walked in and everyone stood up to greet him. He set his books down and cleared his throat to speak. "Alright, then, class. Today, we have a new student joining us today. I want you to behave yourselves and welcome her warmly, understand?" he explained sternly.

Everyone agreed in unison. Your eyes trailed to the door, which was opening slowly. "There she is now. Come on in, don't be shy, " the teacher said with a welcoming hand gesture. The door fully opened and in stepped a girl. She walked to the front and stood next to the teacher.

She had pure white hair tied up into two pigtails. The girl had gentle pastel blue eyes and fair skin, along with rosy cheeks. They flushed a bit red as she bowed quickly. "Uhh...good morning, everyone. M-My name is...Yui Takahiro. It's a pleasure to meet you!" she hurriedly said.

Yui Takahiro...Yui? That was quite a coincidence, there was a School Wonder that went by the name Yui, yet she was called Ichigo-san. Still, Yui was a common name, so maybe it was just by chance. The girl shuffled to the desk behind you, clutching her bag strap tightly.

Her eyes darted you for a split second, but she didn't say anything. The teacher began the lesson, and you pulled out your notebook. You felt someone tap your back, and you spun around to look at them. Yui had her arm outstretched, her cheeks were flushed red.

"Um...I-I just thought I should...make a friend while I can! S-So...may I..ask for your name please?" she asked shyly, averting her eyes. You smiled at her and nodded. "My name's Y/N L/N, it's nice to meet you, Takahiro-san, " you introduced yourself, reaching out to shake her hand.

"Oh, um, y-you can call me Yu-chan. It's what my brother likes to call me, and I just kind of stuck with it.." Yui mumbled, giving you a shy closed-eyed smile. "Ah, then maybe I'll call you that. Nice to meet you, Yu-chan!" you replied, turning back to listen to the lesson.

After all, you needed to well in studies.

"L/N-chaaaan~!" you felt arms wrap around you and someone bury their face into your hair. You had gotten used to Tsukasa's constant cuddles, so you just smiled tiredly. "Hey there, Tsukasa..." you said, tilting your head to the side as Tsukasa rested his head onto your neck after.

"Y/N, we know how boring it can get over here. So how about you and I go on a quiet little walk, away from any...distractions, " Sakura frowned down at Natsuhiko who was holding her hand gently. You chuckled at him and looked at Sakura. Wordlessly, you nodded at her.

Sakura opened the door, gesturing you to exit. "L/N-chan, where are you going? I wanna play with you today!" Tsukasa said, shaking a bit. "Tsukasa, I'd like to spend some time with Sakura-chan as well, okay? I'll come back later and do something with you, " you promised.

"Hmm, okay.." Tsukasa let go of you and floated over to Mitsuba. You smiled at Sakura before exiting the room with her. She walked with you through the door, engaging any type of conversation in her quiet tone of voice. You had admit, it was a good breath of fresh air.

"Sakura-chan, my class got a new student today. Coincidentally, her name is also Yui! Don't you think that's a little weird?" you decided to tell Sakura. Her eyes showed a hint of surprise when you mentioned that. "Yui is a pretty common name. It's just a coincidence, " she said.

"Mhm. That's what I thought. Honestly, I think she's a sweet person, just a little shy is all, " you told Sakura, finding it easy to talk to the green-haired girl. "Y/N, have you felt weird lately?" Sakura suddenly cut you off, her eyes gazing into yours intensely. You were a little surprised.

"Uh, no...I don't think so. It depends on what you're talking about, Sakura-chan, " you responded with the best answer you could come up with it. "I'm asking if you've felt a little...out of place. Like you don't actually belong here, " you jumped at her blunt response.

"No, I really don't..." you replied. Sakura nodded and the both of you continued walking, not really knowing what to say next. "Uhh...Sakura-chan, is anything wrong? I'm a little confused as to why you'd ask something like that.." you expressed your thoughts on her question.

She shook her head slightly, a small smile adorning her usually serious features. "Nope, it's nothing, Y/N..." she told you. You nodded and looked ahead. "I was just making sure, that's all..." your head immediately snapped back to Sakura, who was smiling softly ahead.

"Making sure you felt comfortable with us.." Sakura quietly reassured you. You let out a short breath and chuckled awkwardly. "Hey, maybe we should go back? Tsukasa might get a little restless if you're not there, " you suggested. Sakura nodded, and both of you rushed back.

"So, you're the so-called Wonder who doesn't realize it? You're a bit dense to be a powerful apparition, aren't you? No matter, I'll make you pay for stealing my place in this damn school, you little brat...!" quick footsteps ran from behind the wall to the front gate of the school.
