It was another typical night in the Slytherin common room. The fire crackled in the hearth, casting a warm glow over the room as you sat next to Mattheo on the leather sofa. Your friendsβ€”Theo, Draco, Blaise, and Enzoβ€”were scattered about, either playing a card game or reading quietly, but it was clear their attention was slowly drifting toward the couple sitting a little too close for comfort.

You and Mattheo had been together for a while now, and while the others respected your relationship, there were moments when even your closest friends couldn't help but find the two of you a little... distracting.

Mattheo leaned in, his lips finding yours in a soft kiss that quickly grew more heated. His hand brushed against your cheek, and you responded just as eagerly, wrapping your arms around his neck, losing yourself in the moment.

The sound of the kiss was almost enough to make the boys roll their eyes in unison.

"Ugh, please," Theo muttered, pulling his legs up onto the couch and flicking his wand to push his book back into place. "You two are worse than a pair of lovebirds."

Draco leaned back in his chair, smirking as he crossed his arms. "Honestly, I thought you two were just going to be the 'secretive' couple. But now we're stuck listening to this every time we're in the same room."

Blaise, who had been reading a book, looked up with a bored expression. "We get it, Mattheo. You're head over heels for Y/N. No need to show us every time."

Enzo, who had been quietly fiddling with his wand, laughed. "Come on, we know you're a passionate guy, but maybe take it somewhere private?"

Mattheo pulled away from you with a mischievous grin. "I don't see the problem. You all act like you're bothered, but I think you're just jealous."

You chuckled softly, glancing at your friends. "Jealous? You really think they're jealous?"

"Definitely," Mattheo said, still grinning. He turned toward the guys. "Admit it. You're just upset because you don't have someone to make out with."

Theo snorted. "Not even close," he said, shoving Mattheo lightly. "But if it means we get some peace and quiet, I'm ready to make a deal."

Draco leaned in, raising an eyebrow. "You know what we could really use? A bit of silence for five minutes. We'd all be happier for it."

You shot them all a teasing look. "Fine, fine," you said with a playful sigh. "Mattheo, we can always continue this later."

"Yes!" Theo groaned. "At least until we're all in our graves."

Mattheo chuckled but reluctantly pulled you closer, whispering against your ear, "Don't worry. They'll get used to it."

The others just groaned in response, but even they couldn't deny that they all secretly liked seeing Mattheo this happy. Even if it came with the occasional annoying makeout session.
