Y/N had always been strong, fierce, and independent. But even the strongest people could find themselves trapped in a situation they never expected. When she first met Adrian Vale, he had been charming, attentiveโ€”everything she thought she wanted. But over time, the small red flags she ignored became impossible to overlook.

At first, it was little things. He got jealous too easily, always wanting to know where she was and who she was with. Then, he started isolating her, making her feel guilty for spending time with her friends. And then came the worst partโ€”the control, the fear, the bruises hidden beneath long sleeves and hastily cast glamours.

She tried to act normal, tried to pretend everything was fine, but her friends weren't fools. Mattheo was the first to notice the way her usual spark had dimmed. Draco and Theo saw how she flinched when someone raised their voice. Blaise caught her wincing when she moved too fast, and Enzo had walked in on her crying in the empty Astronomy Tower.

They knew something was wrong. And they weren't about to let her suffer alone.

One evening, after Y/N had missed yet another meet-up with the boys, Mattheo stormed into the Great Hall, fury crackling in his dark eyes. He slammed his hands on the Slytherin table, making the plates rattle.

"Where the hell is she?" he growled.

No one had to ask who he meant.

"With him," Theo muttered, jaw clenched. "Again."

Blaise exhaled sharply. "I'm done waiting for her to come to us. We get her out, tonight."

That was all it took. The boys had a plan before they even left the table.

โ€”

Y/N sat in the abandoned corridor where Adrian had told her to wait. Her arms were wrapped around herself, her mind buzzing with excuses. Maybe he didn't mean to grab me so hard. Maybe I shouldn't have spoken back. Maybe if I just do better...

"Y/N."

Her head snapped up to see Mattheo, Theo, Draco, Blaise, and Enzo standing in front of her, their expressions filled with anger and something even deeperโ€”concern.

"You're coming with us," Mattheo said firmly.

She shook her head quickly. "I can't. He'llโ€”"

"Try something?" Theo interrupted, his voice low and dangerous. "Let him."

Blaise stepped closer, his voice softer. "You don't have to do this alone, Y/N."

Her vision blurred. She wanted to believe them, to trust them, but the fear Adrian had embedded in her made her hesitate.

That's when Enzo knelt beside her, his hands gentle as he took hers. "You are not weak for leaving," he whispered. "You are strong for surviving."

A lump formed in her throat.

Then, behind her, she heard a voice that made her blood run cold.

"Going somewhere, love?"

Adrian stood at the end of the hall, his sharp eyes filled with rage as he took in the boys surrounding her. He took a step forward, but before he could get any closer, Mattheo was on him.

"You're not touching her again," Mattheo snarled.

Draco cracked his knuckles. "Ever."

Adrian smirked. "And what are you gonna do about it?"

Theo tilted his head. "Do you really want to find out?"

It wasn't a fight. It was a message. By the time the boys were done, Adrian knew he'd never come near Y/N again.

โ€”

Later that night, Y/N sat curled up in Mattheo's dorm, Luna purring in her lap.

"You're safe now," Mattheo murmured, brushing a hand through her hair.

She looked at all of themโ€”her boys. Her real family.

"Thank you," she whispered.

Blaise smirked. "Always."

And for the first time in a long time, she believed it.
