Time passed, and after our lunch, we stepped out of the restaurant, our hearts light with excitement. We got into the car, and Beomgyu settled into the passenger seat beside me. As the engine started, I couldnβt hold back any longer.
"Wait, just before we go to the Eiffel Tower..." I said, my voice soft but determined. I reached over, gently taking his chin in my hand to turn his face toward mine. Without a second thought, I pressed my lips against his. He froze for a moment, surprised, but then kissed me back.
It was just a quick kiss, and I pulled away with a playful wink.
"I was holding it back," I teased, and he gave me a shy smile, his eyes sparkling.
I grinned and focused on the road, driving us toward the Eiffel Tower. When we arrived, we got our tickets and made our way up to the top. It was the perfect time, the sun was starting to set, painting the sky in shades of pink and orange.
Beomgyu's face lit up with excitement as he pulled out his polaroid camera. "Letβs take a picture," he said, his voice filled with joy. We snapped several pictures, laughing and enjoying the moment. Beomgyu smiled down at the photos, his eyes filled with happiness.
"Hey... let me kiss you," I said softly, a teasing smile playing on my lips.
He glanced at me, then smiled. "We just kissed in the car," he replied, a hint of laughter in his voice.
I chuckled lightly, my fingers brushing against his. "What about once more... but in front of this view?"
He looked away, his cheeks tinged with a soft blush. With a quiet nod, he closed his eyes. I couldnβt resist anymore. I pulled him close, my hand at his waist, as he tiptoed up to meet me.
I chuckled softly, then leaned down, pressing my lips to his with a tenderness that matched the moment. My fingers tangled in his hair, pulling him closer as the world around us seemed to disappear.
Beomgyuβs POV:
The love I felt from him was beyond words, every day since we started dating, his affection for me only deepened. It was overwhelming in the best way possible, and I couldnβt help but feel like the luckiest person alive. I wanted to give him all the love he gave me, to match it in every way I could. I often found myself praying to God, asking for him to never be taken away from me, for him to be my soulmate forever.
Every kiss, no matter how many times it happened, always felt like the first, fresh, exhilarating, and full of warmth.
I gently tugged on his shoulder, feeling the pull of our connection. After a moment, he pulled away slightly, his gaze soft but intense as he met my eyes. I could see the reflection of the setting sun in his eyes, a circle of light that seemed to shine even brighter with the warmth of the moment.
He rested his forehead against mine, holding me close. His arms around me felt like a promise, something secure and unshakable.
In that moment, it felt like we were in a dream, and I never wanted to wake up.
On the Eiffel Tower, we shared laughter and light-hearted moments. He would randomly pull me close, giggling, and in those fleeting seconds, Iβd get lost in the depth of his eyes, as if they were holding me captive in their warmth. Every second felt like a treasure.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, the sky gradually turned to a deep shade of black, only to be replaced by the soft glow of the Eiffel Towerβs lights. A beautiful purple-blue hue washed over the entire scene, making everything feel magical.
Suddenly, fireworks erupted in the sky, lighting it up with bursts of color. The first one startled me, making me flinch, but the awe quickly melted into a smile as I watched them dance in the air.
Yeonjunβs soft chuckle broke through the moment. "It looks beautiful," he said, his voice full of wonder.
"I know, right?" I replied, my gaze never leaving the sky.
He pulled me against his chest, and I rested my head on his shoulder as we watched the fireworks together, each explosion reflecting in our eyes. It felt surreal, like time had stopped, and all that mattered was this π¦π¨π¦ππ§π, this perfect, unspoken connection between us. I cherished it more than words could say.
As the fireworks slowly faded, leaving only the afterglow of the colors in the sky, we stood there in silence, lost in the peaceful quiet of the night. The world below us seemed so distant, so far away, and all that mattered was this moment, this connection.
Yeonjun tightened his arms around me, and I could feel the steady beat of his heart against my back. It was grounding, calming, as if the world had slowed down just for us.
"I never want this night to end," he murmured softly, his voice barely a whisper against my hair.
I smiled, tilting my head to look up at him. "Me neither," I said, my voice low, carrying a mix of gratitude and contentment. "But even if it does, Iβll always remember this moment. With you."
His eyes softened, and he gently cupped my face in his hands, his thumb tracing the outline of my jaw. There was a quiet intensity in his gaze, a promise without words.
"I'll remember it too," he replied, leaning in to kiss me softly, his lips warm and tender. "Always."
We stood there, beneath the twinkling lights of the Eiffel Tower, watching the last remnants of the fireworks light up the sky. In that moment, I realized it wasnβt the fireworks, the lights, or even the view that made it unforgettable, it was us. And as long as we had each other, the world was full of endless possibilities.
And with that, the night was perfect.
