A/N POV:
Yeonjun's POV:
We'd just settled into the hotel. Beomgyu was busy unpacking, his movements careful and precise as he folded his clothes. I leaned casually against the doorframe, watching him.
"Didn't you want to visit your parents?" I asked, my tone curious but light.
He paused briefly before answering, "I went a few weeks ago." His voice was soft, almost absent-minded as he continued to organize.
I smiled faintly. "What about you?" he asked, turning his head slightly to glance at me. "Aren't you planning to visit yours?"
I nodded, pushing off the doorframe. "I'll go at the end of the break," I replied, walking closer. "And I'll take you with me."
He froze, his hands hovering mid-air as he turned to face me fully. "Take me? For what?"
I smirked, crossing my arms. "What? Can't I bring you along to meet them?" I asked with a feigned innocence that made him tilt his head in disbelief.
"Yeah, I'll go, but..." he trailed off, shifting nervously. "I'm a little nervous."
I chuckled, crouching down beside him so our eyes met. Gently brushing a stray strand of hair from his face, I gave him a reassuring smile. "There's no need to be nervous. Besides, there's still plenty of time, we're not going right away."
He nodded silently, his lips curving into a small, uncertain smile.
Unable to resist, I tilted his face toward mine, cradling his jaw in my hands. "Look at me," I whispered. His gaze met mine, his eyes reflecting trust and a hint of shyness.
I leaned in, my lips brushing against his softly. His response was immediate, as if he'd been waiting for this. The kiss deepened, carrying an urgency I hadn't expected.
A quiet smile tugged at my lips as he wrapped his arms around my neck, pulling me closer. My hands trailed gently along his back, pressing him firmly against me. The world outside the hotel room faded, leaving just the two of us in a moment that felt timeless.
Adorable. That was the only thought running through my mind as I finally pulled away, my breath mingling with his.
"Don't overthink this, okay?" I murmured softly, my voice barely above a whisper. He nodded, his eyes fluttering closed as I gently pressed his head against my chest.
For a moment, the room was quiet, save for the sound of our breathing. Then, breaking the silence, I heard Beomgyu's soft voice. "We've never gone on a real date since we started dating..."
I glanced down at him, though his face was hidden against me. Still, I could feel the warmth radiating from his cheeks, a clear sign he was blushing. It made me smile.
"Oh, but we have," I replied, my tone playful.
He tilted his head slightly, his breath hot against my chest as he asked, "Huh? When?"
"Well..." I began, smirking. "We went on a song rehearsals date, a dance practice date..."
"That's not a date!" Beomgyu protested, pulling away just enough to glare at me. His flushed face only made him more endearing.
I chuckled, raising my hands in mock surrender. "Alright, alright. I'll make it up to you. We'll go on a real date today, right after we finish unpacking. How's that sound?"
His expression softened instantly, his pout turning into the brightest smile I'd seen all day. "Really?" he asked, his voice filled with excitement.
I nodded, ruffling his hair affectionately. "Really. Now hurry up, or we'll never get out of here."
The happiness in his eyes was enough to make me feel like the luckiest person alive.
Beomgyu's POV:
A wave of happiness filled me as I quickly started unpacking, excitement buzzing in my chest. Yeonjun had left the room, but my thoughts lingered on him. I loved him so much that it made my heart ache in the best way.
Time Skip
After finishing up, I walked into the living area, spotting Yeonjun lounging on the couch, scrolling through his phone. I approached him eagerly, unable to hide my excitement.
"Get up and get ready! I'll get ready too," I said, shaking his shoulder lightly.
He didn't even glance up, his focus still on the screen. "Yeah, yeah... I'm going. You go get ready first," he replied casually.
I huffed, turning on my heel with an exaggerated pout. "Hmph!"
"Wait, waitβ" Before I could walk away, he grabbed my arm, pulling me back. I gasped softly, startled by the sudden movement.
"What?" I muttered, glancing at his hand gripping my arm before looking up into his eyes.
"I'm coming, alright? You can go get ready first," he said, his tone softer this time, his attention fully on me now.
His sincerity made me smile, my earlier frustration melting away. "Okay," I replied with a playful grin before heading to the room.
Time Skip
After showering, I carefully picked out my outfit: a beige turtleneck layered with a white cardigan, paired with matching beige trousers. I spritzed Yeonjun's favorite scent on my neck and wrists, smiling at the thought of him noticing it. Once my hair was styled to perfection, I stepped out of the room, ready.
"Your turn," I announced, gesturing for him to get ready.
Yeonjun's gaze shifted from his phone to me, and I froze under the intensity of his smirk as he stood up.
He walked toward me with slow, deliberate steps, stopping just inches away before pulling me close.
My breath hitched as I looked up at him, but he lowered his face to my neck, burying it there.
"Oh, my..." he murmured softly, his warm breath sending shivers down my spine as he inhaled deeply.
I bit my lip, trying to stifle the sound threatening to escape, my hands lightly gripping his shirt for support.
Before I could lose myself completely, he pulled back, his lips curling into a playful smirk.
"Stop it and go!" I exclaimed, pushing him lightly, trying to mask my flustered state.
He chuckled, raising his hands in surrender as he finally headed off to get ready, leaving me standing there with my heart pounding.
