It was the end of the school day and you were walking outside the school exit where you saw Scaramouche, Childe and La Signora standing. They were waiting for you.

"Hey. I can't walk home with you guys today," you briefly explained. Childe nodded. "It's fine, we decided to wait anyways so y'know, we can say goodbye."

"Oh alright. Goodbye," you greeted. "Bye bye," Childe waved and then shifted his attention on the other two. "Goodbye y/n," La Signora crossed her arms then looked at Scaramouche.

"Is your mom already here?" Scaramouche asked you. "I think so," you replied with uncertainty, while shifting your head both ways to look for her.

"Alright. Goodbye then," he said. "Bye." The three then walked away, though Scaramouche seemed hesitant at first. Perhaps he wanted to see your mother.

You walked along the pathway where you assumed your mom was going to pick you up. And soon, you noticed a car coming your way. You right away recognized the hair and face. It was indeed your mother.

She parked near the pathway and got off the car. As she walked to you, you were already greeted with her cold glare.

"Hello y/n," the woman greeted you with a smile that you very much knew was forced. "Hey mom," you answered sternly.

"How was school?" She asked with her usual emotionless tone. "Fine." You kept your answers brief since you didn't want the conversation to last long.

The woman narrowed her eyes at you and crossed her arms, she didn't seem too pleased with your brief responses. She then shifted her attention to what was behind you.

What you didn't know was the three were still watching you, observing every move between you and your mother. Not in a creepy way of course, but in a caring way.

"We should go now," La Signora suggested, turning the other way. "Yeah, I agree. Cmon Scaramouche... uh Scaramouche?" Both Childe and La Signora faced to look at Scaramouche who looked rather shook. "Helloooo Scara-?" Childe tapped the man's shoulder but his attention was fixed solely on your mother.

He took a step forward like he wanted to take a better look and narrowed his eyes. The other two continued looking at him in vast confusion. "Uh are you okay? Scaramouche?" La Signora asked, concerned for the male's strange behaviour.

Then all of a sudden, as if realization had just struck, Scaramouche's eyes widened as he took a few steps backwards. "Huh-?"

"You were there," the indigo haired man muttered in disbelief.
