Soon, Scaramouche began yelling. He kneeled on the ground and held onto himself tightly as he continued shouting at the top of his lungs.

This immediately caught everyone's attention in the hallways, including Mona herself. Mona didn't realize at first but panic rose within her after recognizing Scaramouche was the one yelling. Especially when he began yelling after seeing her.

You were still packing your bag when you heard his yell. But as soon as you heard the loud noise, you automatically ran outside the classroom. "Huh Scaramouche!?" You shouted as you ran out the door, still unsure if the yell really belonged to him or not.

And to your surprise, you saw Mona standing next to you and Scaramouche bending on his knees across the hallway while screaming.

It was difficult to make out what he was shouting, it mostly sounded like cuss words targeted at Mona but you felt anxious to see this state of his as you've never seen him like this before.

His voice cracked a bit during his constant shouting and it sounded like a yell of pain rather than one of anger. You could tell right away that the man was having a breakdown.

But you hadn't a clue on how to comfort someone so you did the only thing you knew how, and that was to embrace him with a hug.

You quickly ran to Scaramouche and kneeled down while tightly hugging him. You could feel his heart beating fast and his heavy breathing colliding against you as you continued embracing the indigo haired man.

The hug seemed to work, he did calm down a bit after the sudden warm embrace. But he looked only more afraid after seeing you. "Are you alright?" You asked to which he winced at after hearing those words.

You glanced over at Mona and she looked just as shocked as you. 'Is she why this happened?' You thought.

Then Scaramouche quickly got up after he managed to somewhat compose himself, causing the both of you to part from the hug. "Huh?" You looked up at him. He rubbed his eyes even if there were no tears, atleast you thought there weren't any tears.

Scaramouche looked around and felt judgemental eyes surrounding him. It was the students in the hallways, they were all staring at him with concerned looks on their faces, including the astrologist.

He needed to escape. And so he did. Scaramouche quickly ran the other way from where he came. "Wait Scaramouche!" You got up from the kneeling position and wanted to chase after him. But your gut told you that he wanted to be alone right now. After all, who would want someone to see them in such a state?

Your attention averted to Mona, who appeared to be unsettled by all of this. "What happened?" You asked as you walked over to her.

"I— don't know. He started yelling the moment he saw me," she answered with uneasiness.

You didn't know much about Scaramouche and Mona, and this worried you since you couldn't do much to help. You didn't have a clue on why Scaramouche just had a breakdown after seeing Mona.

Kazuha told you that him and Mona used to be close till eventually they drifted apart after an incident similar to the Tsaritsa's. Yet you were unaware what incident that exactly was. And what the outcome of it was.

But after witnessing Scaramouche behave like that when he saw Mona, you could only assume that the outcome was traumatic for him.

one day, mona and fischl had a fight so bad it eventually turned into a physical one

scara tried stopping it but ended up hurting fischl in the process

mona left him after that

Mona felt guilty for after seeing Scaramouche react like that. And she had been thinking of his reaction ever since.

She was aware he was forced to go to rehab because of the incident. Yet she didn't defend him when he said he wasn't at fault.

She knew she was the reason for his pain. She was the reason for him having to attend rehab. And she knew that Scaramouche probably hated her.

The person she once considered a brother couldn't even stand the sight of her.
