A deep silence took over the atmosphere as you gasped at the sight in front of you.

You could feel your heartbeat go faster and faster. And every fibre of your being wished that this wasn't happening.

Dottore's eyes widened along with Scaramouche's after realizing who just took the hit that was meant for you.

The woman in front of you was the last person you would've expected to have jumped in front of you. And you could recognize that elegant albino white hair from miles away. It was the Tsaritsa.

You felt yourself trembling in fear for her. The knife hit her directly at her lower abdomen, near her stomach. And you worried it was critical.

Not to mention, this would be her second time seriously getting injured in less than three months.

"Shit— m'lady, what the hell are you doing here," Dottore whispered quietly to himself, not being able to believe it either.

The Tsaritsa was the only one who he had respect for and now, he was the reason for hurting her.

She stood still in front of you for a while, but collapsed onto the rough cement a few seconds later with the knife still in her.

"TSARITSA." You tried shuffling to her but the rope didn't make it easy.

Dottore felt horrible and for the first time, he felt guilty. The Tsaritsa was the last person he wanted to hurt. His target was Scaramouche, not her.

But he knew he couldn't get himself out of this mess. So he did the only thing he could. And that was to flee the scene.

He quickly turned around and ran only to be stopped by Scaramouche. "You're staying here, masked bastard."

"Move out of the way, shorty." Dottore reached for his pocket again but then realized his knife was still with the Tsaritsa. "Tsk."

"Hah no weapon to protect you, coward." Scaramouche steadily approached the frantic man. Dottore tried throwing a punch at him but Scaramouche instantly dodged and harshly punched his stomach instead.

"Y- you bitch." Dottore fell to his knees and Scaramouche kicked his face, captain Levi style. A satisfied smile was plastered onto his face as he saw Dottore collapse in front of him.

Meanwhile, you finally got to where the Tsaritsa was laying. "What do I do? What do I do??" you were still tied up so you couldn't help her. But you saw the blood from the stab slowly pour out and terror overtook you.

Scaramouche dragged Dottore's unconscious body to where you and the Tsaritsa were. "I'm calling for help," he said. He then took out his phone and dialed to call someone. "Who are you calling?" you asked but he didn't respond.

You heard him talking and it sounded like he called the ambulance. You sighed in relief and looked back at the Tsaritsa. "Thank you."

After Scaramouche finished the call, he got on one of his knees and started untying you. "Do you think she'll be ok?" you asked. "Probably," he answered but didn't sound too confident.

You frowned at this entire mess, and hated how you fell for Dottore's trap so easily. "I keep making dumb mistakes," hints of dismay could be heard from your voice.

"You're not the only one," Scaramouche replied right away as he got back up after untying you. You placed the Tsaritsa's head on your lap.

And the two of you waited impatiently for the ambulance to arrive.
