Douma POV:
As I whisked (Y/N) back into the cult grounds, I realized that I knew near to nothing about the girl. Slowing down my pace as I neared the temple, I waited for the double doors to be opened by a maid.
Strolling in the direction of her room, I started to take my question seriously.
'Well, what do I know about her? I know that her name is (Y/N), and she is extremely flexible. She's twenty-one years old, and she's apathetic.' I frowned to myself, failing to think of any other characteristics of the mystery girl in my arms.
I arrived at her room, and shifted all of her weight to one of my arms. I carefully slid open the shoji door, successfully keeping the young girl asleep.
After shuffling her weight down onto the futon gently, I stood back up and searched for a paper and calligraphy pen. I laid next to her and I wrote down questions to ask her after she woke up.
"Hmm, what else?" I quietly thought out loud, tapping the end of the pen against my chin.
I glanced at the resting girl next to me, and added another question to the piece of paper I was writing on. Reading through the list of questions, I sat up straight. The note read:
'What are some of your favorite things?
Do you have any friends, and if yes, who are they?
What do you do in your free time?
How long have you been trained?'
I placed the paper and pen to the side so that the ink wouldn't smudge and leaned my head back. The harsh motion of caused it to bang against the wall loudly, and (Y/N) stirred in her sleep. I peered to see if she was waking up, but she didn't. The girl moved around in the futon, her arms trying to find a comfortable position.
However, her arms wrapped around me instead, and snuggled into my side. I chuckled slightly and patted the girl's head before shifting myself to lie down next to her. I closed my eyes and slowly began to sleep peacefully for the first time in decades.

Y/N POV:
I woke up with a jolt as I heard an almost deafening sound coming from right behind me. After also feeling a presence in that same direction, I twisted my head just enough to see Douma clinging to me. His arms were wrapped around my waist, and his head was positioned just right for me to hear his snoring right next to my ear.
'Really.' I thought, and moved my face so that he wasn't directly behind me. Just as I was about to untangle his arms, he started to talk. In his sleep.
"No. I wanna stay." He huffed.
'You know what? I'm not even going to question it.' I gave up on trying to sit up after several failed attempts, all of which led to Douma pulling me closer to him. He was basically on top of me at this point, but I was so tired I didn't care.
'Oh well, at least my leg doesn't hurt anymore.' I shrugged and stared at the wall, unable to go to sleep even though I was exhausted.
My eye twitched as Douma let out another earsplitting snore in my ear. At that moment, Touko walked in and looked down at me.
'Help me.' I mouthed, and she sweatdropped. She took a step back and strolled straight out of the room. I slowly turned my eyes back to Douma, who was still clinging onto me, and I patted his head.
"Fine, you win." I begrudgingly accepted defeat, reluctantly letting myself be pulled into his cool grasp, yawning.
The next thing I know, I'm drifting off to sleep again. However, what I hadn't noticed was a certain pair of mischievous rainbow eyes watching me, silently chuckling.

Douma POV:
'Ah, (Y/N)'s not awake yet. Good, she should probably rest.' I thought as I squeezed her tightly once again.
Stretching out my numb legs, I temporarily let go of (Y/N)'s waist, holding onto one of her hands instead. It was quiet in the room, with the only sound being (Y/N)'s quiet breathing.
Twang. The singular note of a biwa resounded throughout the room.
"Oh?" I said out loud as I stood up, still tightly holding onto the sleeping (Y/N).
'I guess I forgot about the meeting. Oh well, it's not my fault I forgot something that happens once a decade.' I thought
As I expected, the scenery of the small room started to fade, altering its shape to reveal a colossal wooden labyrinth. Endless staircases and constantly changing rooms surrounded us, but I was not fazed.
Suddenly, I was transported onto a singular platform above everything else. Shifting (Y/N) into a bridal style carry, I searched around for anyone else that might be here. Seeing no one, I frowned, my plastic smile immediately dropping.
"Douma. You're late." A booming voice resounded, and I grinned up to see a red-eyed man in front of me. I felt blood seeping out of my eyes as I bowed down next to who I recognized as the Upper Moon Three, Akaza.
"Why are you holding a human in your arms." Pain exploded throughout my body, yet I refused to let go of (Y/N) as she slept. I could practically feel the fury radiating from his dark aura, but I held up my guard, my entire body tense.
"Nakime. Send this human to another room. I will deal with it later." A biwa was heard, and my breathing stopped short as I realized that (Y/N) was no longer in my grasp. I fell on my face from the lack of weight, now unbalanced. Just before I could rearrange myself, I coughed out blood, realizing that he had activated the Kibutsuji curse as a way of punishment.
"You pathetic demon. I forgot what I was saying because of you." Muzan sighed and rubbed his temples, apparently trying to remember what he was saying. In that time, I hurriedly took my position back, giving a thumbs-up to everyone around me.
He suddenly snapped his fingers, at the same time snapping me back to the reality of the situation.
"Now then. Does anyone have anything important enough for me to hear?" Muzan spoke harshly, as if any answer that was given would not be good enough.
"M-Muzan-sama, I managed to kill two hashira at the same time." Gyokko stuttered weakly. Muzan teleported himself to stand in front of the poor Upper Moon, his ominous aura darkening even further.
"I do not care for two weak hashira. They are nothing compared to what I want. Anyone who has information on the Blue Spider Lily, speak now or suffer." After waiting a few seconds, he hissed loudly, clearly livid at the lack of progress.
The Kibutsuji curse was activated once again. However, this time almost everyone was affected by it, with the exception being Nakime, who in turn strummed her biwa to teleport Muzan out.
The platform was filled with sound of coughing and splattering of blood from all of the Upper Moons. After approximately thirty seconds, the pain stopped and everyone was heaving on the floor.
Akaza stood up and stomped over to me, glowering.
"That was all your fault!" He glared at me and reared his hand back, aiming for a punch to the head. I laughed at him gleefully as Kokushibo cut both of his arms off, which infuriated him even more.
"Ah, why thank you, Kokushibo-dono! Our dear friend, Akaza-dono was being so mean to me with his harsh words!" I fanned myself as I watched Akaza regenerating slowly, the effects of the curse still lingering.
I opened my mouth again, just to see the world going black after the top half of my head was cut off by Kokushibo.
"Do not mistake my actions for those of kindness towards you. I do not care for you, let that remain clear. The sole purpose of my behavior was to ensure that Upper Three is still aware of the hierarchy of the Kizuki ranks." I raised my hand against the sharp ridges of my healing face, still with a smile.
Akaza shifted his weight as he stretched out his newly grown hand, cracking his knuckles. I giggled once more, knowing he was curious about me.
"Ne ne, Akaza-dono, ask the question. I don't mind a bit!" Standing up, I appeared behind Akaza and placed my hand on his shoulder. His outraged aura and the disgusted look on his face said everything I wanted to know, so with a smug smirk on my face, I pressed on.
"First of all, get your hands off of me." Akaza stepped forwards, reaching to brush my hands off of his shoulder.
"And second, who was the woman you were holding? You seemed like you weren't going to let go of her anytime soon." He crossed his arms, and I playfully mimicked him.
In the background, we both heard several strums of Nakime's biwa as she transported the other Upper Moons off of the platform. Observing our surroundings as the platform was lowered to match the rest of the fortress, I noticed that Akaza and I were the only two left.
"Well, since you asked so nicely, her name is (Y/N) and she's one of my followers!" At this, Akaza raised an eyebrow. He turned his head to face Nakime, who was sitting on the platform beside us.
"Biwa lady, teleport the girl here." (Y/N) appeared in front of us, but she wasn't lying down as I thought she would've been. Instead, she was standing up, and she was obviously wide awake.
"Hi Douma." (Y/N) waved at me, and I excitedly returned it. Akaza cleared his throat.
She turned towards the noise and waved again.
"Hello random guy that smells like a dead body." Nakime snorted, and I burst out laughing as I saw Akaza standing there, speechless.
"Well nice to meet you too, (Y/N)." He grumbled, crossing his arms and pouting. She then walked over to him and pressed her fingers to the edge of his mouth, forcing his face into a smile.
This, I did not like.
My smile faded, and I death-stared at Akaza. Noticing my aura, he started sweating profusely and took multiple steps backwards. (Y/N) lowered her hands and walked back towards me, hugging my arm.
I immediately grinned at her and gave her a quick hug back before Akaza whispered under his breath, quietly enough that (Y/N) shouldn't be able to hear.
"Don't eat her or I swear I'll kill you." He then vanished into thin air, leaving me alone with (Y/N) and Nakime.
"That man wants to see you, Douma." Nakime stated loudly, catching my attention.
"What about (Y/N)?" I didn't want to be separated from (Y/N) again, after the last departure almost leading to a heart attack.
"She'll be moved to a spare room so she'll be easily reachable if he wants to speak to her as well." Nakime explained.
"Good luck." She muttered as she raised her bachi to pluck the biwa one more time.
