Second Person POV:
"If you are to...dispose of me, let's say, then may I have the honor of knowing each of your names?" You observe each of the slayers, noticing that each of them looked much alike, although with slight differences.
The first slayer, the one who had caught sight of you, had short green hair and sharp teal eyes. The most powerful one of the three, you assumed. This one seemed confident, unlike the boy stationed several feet behind him, who looked like he was about to cry.
This boy had fluffy black hair and icy blue eyes, and was much shorter than the girl he was holding onto, who you presumed to be his sister. This girl, a female of average height, had white hair, also donning the same blue eyes as her younger - or possibly twin - brother.
Luckily, there was no way any of them were ranked higher than Tsuchinoe, so you wouldn't have as many injuries from the fight as you did with Kanae, ignoring the fact that the Pillar wasn't trying to murder you like you were to her.
Speaking of murder, you still had three slayers in front of you who you didn't know the intentions of.
It would be easy for you to simply stab them and let them bleed out, but you weren't aiming to kill. You couldn't, not after what you had done to Shinobu with the same weapon.
You knew you had to knock them unconscious without murdering them, just like they were aiming to do to you, or so you hoped. You couldn't tell for certain, but from what Douma had informed you, the demon slayers did not kill humans, which would make your job infinitely easier, yet still not a guaranteed win.
The black haired boy hesitates. "You may not." He states. "You won't need to know our names after you're unconscious."
Bingo. With that one sentence, you knew that they were planning to knock you out and drag you back to the demon slayer headquarters, meaning that you would find out the exact location, but you wouldn't know how to travel there all by yourself.
This meant that you couldn't let them capture you to find out their location; you would have to stick to your original plan of knocking the three unconscious and finding out where the hell Douma had disappeared off to.
You sigh. "Fine then, if that's how it is. I'll simply refer to you as Leafy," you point to the green haired boy, "Tiny," you point to the teary-eyed boy, "and Icecube." You point to the girl, who to you appeared to be giving her brother a pep talk.
The green hair boy was clearly irked at this. "You will not do that! My name is Orokana Meinu, and you better remember it when I knock you unconscious!" He snaps. You stare at him, unimpressed.
"Good for you, Leafy." You state, keeping a passive expression on your face. His right eye twitches, his glare boring into you as if he were a royal demanding respect - he was most definitely not getting that point across, since he mirrored a pouty child more than anything else.
You hear a soft 'crunch' noise to your side, and your body goes on high alert. You whip around, ducking under whatever the person had thrown at you, which happened to be a thick piece of wood tossed by the boy whom you knew as Tiny.
You duck under the plank, rolling out of the way of the katana Meinu had attempted to strike you with.
"Orokana-san, you're not supposed to kill her!" The girl yells out, sheathing her katana. Swinging his katana at you, Orokana grunts. You jump back, avoiding his attempts to stab you. One of them comes close to you, but you block it with the kunai.
"I know that, dipshit!" He snaps, continuing to wave his blade at you like a madman. The smaller boy, Tiny, pauses what he was doing to look up at Orokana.
"Don't speak to Nee-san that way, you balding fish!" He retorts, his voice hurt and unhappy. Seeing this as the perfect opportunity, you jump towards him and slam your hand down onto the side of his neck, immediately knocking him unconscious. The boy slumps to the ground, out cold. His sister lets out a shocked, angry scream.
"Kasuo!" She unsheathes her katana, completely changing her fighting stance. It was clear to you that she, along with Orokana, were no longer aiming to simply do what they had planned. They were aiming to kill now.
Quickly, you slide towards the unconscious boy, roughly hooking your arm around his torso so that his head was unguarded. This gave you the opening to press the kunai up his neck, locking your hardened gaze with the unprepared ones of the two slayers.
"Move another step closer and I kill your brother." You warn through gritted teeth, glaring up at them. The girl immediately stops, her icy eyes conflicted. Her formerly tight grip on her katana loosens, the edge of the weapon tipping towards the ground slightly.
The boy, however, steps forward with a confident look on his face.
"You're too chicken to do that, aren't you?" He challenges, clearly trying to convince himself that you wouldn't dare kill one of his slayer companions.
You click your tongue, shaking your head. "Bad idea, kid. Do not test me."
You slit across the boy's neck, creating a wound deep enough to draw blood but shallow enough not to cause any permanent damage to his breathing or vocal chords. You take in a shaky breath of air. It was difficult to maintain your calm demeanor when you were forced to get so close to redoing something you regretted so dearly in the past.
You hesitate for a moment, feeling that something was off.
Only one second after your hesitation, a huge vine of ice sweeps through the area from behind the two conscious slayers. The vine, which was that of a lotus flower, cuts directly through the torso of the girl and the boy.
Blood coats the outside of the vine, staining the ice red. The bodies of the two young corps members fall to the ground with a thud, red liquid seeping onto the ground.
You let the body of the alive yet unconscious boy slip out of your arms, letting him lay on the ground limply. You stand up, still somehow holding the kunai knife, which was now coated with a sliver of Kasuo's blood.
"Douma?" You whisper, taking a full second to study the demon, a wary frown gracing your features. You didn't quite believe it was him, for some reason. You had seen him a mere few hours ago, yet you were not sure of his actual presence in this area.
Although, it made absolutely no sense if it wasn't...who else had a cryokinesis based Blood Demon Art that carried the mirror technique of Douma's icy vines, the attack you had seen up close several times before today.
A hand places itself on your shoulder.
"Hello there, my dear!" The Uppermoon Two breathes, his voice all-too suddenly close to your ear. You jump in surprise, whirling around to face him. Reflexively, you jab an elbow out to hit him in the lower torso, but he steps backwards with his arms positioned behind his back, unfazed by your pathetically attempted attack on him.
"Douma, where in the...where were you!?" You groan, squinting at the man. You were immensely irritated by his lack of appearance in the back-and-forth with the three Tsuchinoe ranked slayers. No, it would not have been so difficult if you were aiming to kill, but you were not, which was a different story entirely.
Douma averts his happy rainbow eyes, no longer making direct eye contact with your firm gaze.
"Well..." he begins with a reminiscent sigh, staring off into the distance as if he were a pirate about to tell a long, boring tale of his trouble at sea. "I killed the two Pillars, the blind one and the one with no sense of style, and began to search for you, but I could not find you anywhere..." He explains sadly, his emotional eyes showing a dramatic retelling of the emotions he felt while all of these events happened to him.
"After that, I came across Akaza-dono in the Infinity Castle, who absolutely refused to tell me where you were, but that's okay. I still found you." He says, his tone changing from speaking sadly at the beginning to proudly at the end. He flips his long, pale hair over his shoulder, looking as though he accomplished something groundbreaking.
The unconscious slayer boy stirs, causing both you and Douma to snap your heads towards him, Douma doing so far quicker than you due to his sheer speed. The boy lets out a muffled groan, evidently starting to wake up from your hit. The majority of the dust and dirt that had collected on him begins to fall to the dirty ground as he shifts his position. Douma raises his golden war fans, ready to strike the boy on your command, if needed.
"Don't kill him." You interject immediately, holding up your hand in front of him to stop him from doing anything to murder the kid. However, it wouldn't really matter what Douma did to him when considering what you were planning on using him for afterwards.
"Akaza helped me a while ago, I think I should thank him with a meal, don't you?" You tilt your head, gesturing towards the body. You walk towards the young slayer, heaving his heavy body onto your shoulders and hunching your back over due to the weight. Before Douma could even begin to protest your actions by offering to carry the unconscious boy instead of you, you call out,
"Nakime!"
