"Is this a good idea?" A worried male voice asked softly as he followed the leader's swift footsteps. Her other hand was holding a sword, that thing never leaves her side. Jungwoo quickened his steps when she walked downstairs to their basement. He fixes his mask, feeling like it's a bit crooked.
"It's a warning. A warning for the people who do those crimes and for the ones who deliberately covering them up because they had money" she muttered, her jaw clenched tight remembering what the person had done.
"All those lives lost, the trauma they inflicted.. they'll pay for it" Jungwoo silently stared her side profile in admiration. She fascinates him the more he spends time with her.
"Jungwoo" they halted infront of a closed metal door. He lifted his eyebrows as she turned to look at him. Her gaze softened seeing him wait for her to speak in anticipation. Jungwoo felt heat creeping up his cheeks when she patted his head.
"If you feel suffocated being inside, just leave whenever you want. The.. air inside this room is thin and there's no light from the outside" she explained genuine concern laced in her tone.
She purposedly wanted one of their basement, or the place where they held someone captive to have thin air. There are no available windows, only the light from a single bulb would give them vision to what's happening inside. She won't be having a hard time being in the room because of her blood manipulation.
But the other members who will be there made her worry especially Jungwoo who never had any training before."Control your breathing and be calm. You don't have to follow me here, honestly." She stated but he quickly shook his head.
"I want to assist you if anything happens" Eira was quiet for a moment but a small smile appeared on her lips. "If you say so" the door was pushed opened and the two of them stepped inside.
Yuta who was standing in the middle of the room with the light bulb on top of his head turned around. Both his hands were inside the pocket of his jacket. There were no smile on his lips but he looked somewhat amused. His cheeks was smeared with blood which shocked Jungwoo.
"He won't stop babbling nonsense so I had to do something" he said before Eira could question him. She looked at the man sitting on the chair, tied with chains around his body. The now shabby looking man looked up and began shouting. He still had the energy to fight.
"You! All of you will go down with me when they heard about this! You shouldn't have messed around with someone like me—" a gunshot was heard and the man's eyes widened in shock. He looked to his side to see his shoulder bleeding from the bullet that pierced through his skin.
"Watch and learn, Kim Jungwoo" Yuta's voice caused the younger one to look at him worried with what's going to happen. Yuta seemed unfazed with what had happened. Eira twirled the gun in her hand before placing it on her strap. Jungwoo pursed his lips, squinting his eyes seeing the blood. He was confused when did Eira acquire a gun?
"It doesn't matter who you're affiliated with. Let them come! I don't care, Kim Hyunseok" she stepped towards him slowly. His trembling eyes went towards the sword in her right hand as the memory when she stabbed him earlier appeared in his mind.
"I heard you've been living your life to the fullest. Having fun doing human trafficking don't you? Did you have fun being a rapist too?" Her left hand held the hilt before unsheathing the sword slowly causing him to immediately struggle to break free.
"Ah the look of fear, how fun" she traced the sword with her fingers, her tone cold and dark. This was the first time Jungwoo seen this side of Eira. "Wh— stop! Wait! What do you want?!" Hyunseok asked and tried to move away when she held the sword near his neck.
"Are you cooperating? Good! Now the fun will begin!" She pushed his chair under the light and a phone was shoved into his face. "What is this?"
"Confess all your crimes to the people watching" Eira tilted her head towards the man, her eyes glowing slightly red. Not being able to see their faces clearly through the mask terrifies him more for some reason.
"This is broadcasted throughout Seoul. Your face won't be blurred and you'll confess the things you did. Don't you think this is cool?" Eira patted his shoulder, her fingers pointing towards the camera.
"Speak or I'll cut your throat open right here right now" she whispered in his ears which sent shivers down his spine.

The town square was alive with activity. Vendors shouted their wares, and the scent of street food wafted through the air, mingling with the sounds of lively conversation and laughter. Children played near the fountain, their giggles blending with the distant hum of traffic. Shoppers moved from stall to stall, examining trinkets and tasting samples.
Suddenly, a hush fell over the crowd as every screen in sight—billboards, phones, and televisions in shop windows—flickered and changed to a broadcast. The image focused on a bloodied man tied with chains in a stark, dimly lit room. His expression was a mix of terror and regret.
"I, Kim Hyunseok, confess to all my crimes," he began, his voice reverberating through the square. "Every lie, every betrayal, and every act of corruption." The crowd watched in stunned silence, the usual hustle and bustle forgotten, as he detailed his misdeeds, each revelation more shocking than the last.
"I wasn't captured because.. I was let free from the higher-ups. I gave them money and they turned a blind eye for all my crimes"
A man who was on his way back to his house stopped half-way to see why everyone was stunned and the square turned silent. His bandaged hands that was holding the chicken skewers went to put it back inside the plastic. He looked up towards the billboards and his eyes widened in shock. The food he was holding dropped to his side.
His veins popped out as he felt sudden rage seeing the man's face but was also confused with what was happening. How is this happening?
"The Authorities" a distorted female voice was heard catching his attention. A figure appeared right behind the man— who began struggling in his chains, his eyes hold fear.
"To have the beloved higher-ups let someone like this.. a criminal, roaming free within you. That's unacceptable. Those who are corrupted will be taken down, one by one. You have nowhere to hide. Not when I'm alive" her sword appeared on the screen and she slowly pressed the cold blade onto the man's neck.
Screams were heard soon after, not wanting to see what will happen next.
"The Elites will come for you, the Authority" her eyes glowed a red hue and the screen turned black.
Johnny who had his eyes widened wasn't able to move. He felt like his legs was glued to the floor. His fists clenched tight. He remembered that woman. It was the woman he met the other night.
And that man. Kim Hyunseok. His face made him mad. The face of a killer. The person who killed his lover. His fiancé.
His thoughts were interrupted when someone accidentally bumped into him. Johnny wasn't able to say anything but he saw the sun necklace that person was wearing. The guy ran towards the opposite side of the town. That young guy looked shocked for some reason.
Johnny's attention went back to the matter at hand ignoring the person. He needs to find that woman. He needs to find The Elites.
And after he found them, what will happen?
He cracked his knuckles, a smirk appeared on his lips. "I hope I'm able to find them before that Hyunseok got killed. He needs to die by my hands"
