Being adopted by a famous calligrapher had it's perks, such as eating food other than ramen and whatever leftovers where in the fridge or actually having diversity in clothing. Though, It definitely had it's downsides as well, especially if you were adopted by Kaoru Sakurayashiki. Kaoru was strict with Y/N, giving her an schedule that he expected Y/N to follow everyday.

"You're allowed to hang out with your friends after school, but don't get cocky and spend too much time with them." Kaoru said, introducing Y/N to the schedule she will now have. "Come home by 6:00 and lights out by 8:35." Kaoru handed Y/N a list that had all of the times that was in the schedule, Y/N taking a good look at it.

"Understand?" Kaoru asked Y/N, Y/N nodding and glancing away with a nervous look. She didn't like how much the pink haired man had his eye on her, understanding why but still feeling uncomfortable. However, Y/N couldn't deny that this was the first time someone had made sure she was okay.

It was a foreign concept to her, so when Kaoru started to do so, Y/N could only react with annoyance. She at first didn't understand why Kaoru cared so much for what she did, thinking he was just overreacting. Though, Y/N did know and appreciated just how much Kaoru wanted her to be safe, knowing that her mother was far from what Kaoru was.

She was.....Thankful, to say the least.

But, one thing was for sure and that was that despite her new last name which was connected to a very powerful person.....she was still a target at school. Right after class ended, Y/N was about to head out the building until Tomoe called out her name. "Hey Y/N!" She exclaimed, smiling as she skipped in front of Y/N.

"What's this? You're not wearing a hoodie?" Tomoe asked, seeing that Y/N was wearing a yellow shirt with overalls over it. "You actually found some fashion sense!" "Don't act like I picked this out, My guardian forced me to wear this..." "Your guardian?" Y/N realized that she didn't inform her school about Kaoru having adopted her, so she was still Y/N L/N to them.

Tomoe only smirked, taking a pair of scissors from her skirt pocket and saying to Y/N "Than....Your guardian might be sad when they see that you somehow ruined it.". Tomoe attempted to snip at the overalls, Y/N stepping back and falling to her bottom. Tomoe's friends who were watching from the distance only laughed, Tomoe getting closer and snipping the scissors in front of Y/N's face to frighten her even more.

Y/N wanted to fight back, she really wanted to.....but she didn't want to break Kaoru's trust...

"I heard that you got into fights at school a lot..." Kaoru told Y/N, Y/N blushing in embarrassment as she heard that. "How did you know?" "Went through your school records, just to see what your like there." Kaoru looked at Y/N, seeing she had a look of shame on her face. Kaoru sighed, kneeling to Y/N's height and saying to her "Promise me....You won't get into more fights?"

Y/N at first stayed quiet, not knowing what she should say. She than saw Kaoru take out his pinky, showing that he wanted to make it official and pinky promise on it. Y/N only shook her head, making her hand into a fist and putting it towards Kaoru. "Let's just fist bump on it!" She said, Kaoru at first taken back but than smiled.

"I'm sorry...." Y/N thought, about to throw a punch at Tomoe....But Tomoe dropped her scissors before she could. "And what are doing to my child?" Kaoru asked, standing behind Y/N and hiding his face behind his fan. If you could look behind the fan, Kaoru's face was more stern than it ever was. "Wait....Y/N's your daughter?" Tomoe asked, Y/N getting up and trying to explain what Kaoru really is.

"No, He's just my-" "I'm her father, and I would like to know what you were about to do to her just now?" Tomoe recognized who Kaoru was, her parents being major fans of him. So, what would her relationship with her parents be like if they found out she was scolded by the one and only calligrapher. "We're friends, so I was just playing around with her...hehe" Tomoe lied, laughing a bit in hopes of sounding realistic.

Kaoru didn't believe her, hitting Tomoe on her head with his fan. "Ow!" Tomoe shouted, rubbing her head as Kaoru glared at her. "Go back home, and If I see you around my daughter again...." Kaoru didn't need to finish what he had said, Tomoe already understanding and running off. Kaoru looked over to see that Tomoe's friends were still around, whispering about what just happened.

Once the group of girls looked over to see Y/N and Kaoru, Kaoru instantly grabbing Y/N and giving a glare to the girls.

The girls gulped and scurried away, Kaoru releasing Y/N and putting the fan back in front of his face. "Daughter?" "How else was I going to really scare them?" "I know, it's just...." Kaoru saw that Y/N was blushing, seeing that he got a little to into the "Father" thing. Kaoru blushed as well, covering the blush with his hand as he took Y/N's hand and led her to his limousine.

"Where are we going?" Y/N asked, Kaoru looking back to her and saying "I have a public calligraphy lesson, it's going to take a while and I can't afford to have you alone in the house at that time.". Kaoru opened the limousine's door and took a seat, Y/N sitting next to him. As Y/N closed the door, Kaoru tossed her an iPhone, Y/N taken back by the present.

"In case you deal with that brat again." Kaoru said, giving her a small wink. Y/N looked up at him with wide eyes, smiling and immediately going on the iPhone.

"Can I download games on this?" "It's just for calls." "Knew you were going to say that, but It didn't hurt to try..."

Y/N sighed, watching from behind the stage as Kaoru did his calligraphy session. She was told to not bother him, as he was in "The zone" and couldn't be bothered while he was in it. As Y/N looked at the crowd, she noticed a familiar red head boy in it.

"Reki!" Y/N thought, sneaking away from the backstage and  going over to the rail that separated the crowd from Kaoru. "Hey Reki, It's me!" Y/N called out, waving her hands to show the older boy where she was. As Reki made it to the front of the crowd, Y/N saw that his bandage around his head and his arm cast.

"You're okay!" Y/N exclaimed, hugging him from over the rail. Reki laughed, wrapping his free arm around Y/N. "I've missed you Y/N!" Reki said, releasing Y/N and seeing where she was. "Why are you here?" 'Well, It's a long story..."  Y/N was going to explain, but couldn't once Reki saw Kaoru and said out loud "Is that Cherry?".

Y/N tried to cover his mouth, but Reki jumped over the rail and went over to Kaoru, calling out his "S" name to him. "Can you tell me about Adam?" Reki asked, being held back by an officer as Kaoru and the host looked over at him with confusion. "Do you know who he is?" The host asked, Kaoru shaking his head.

Kaoru than approached Reki, grabbing him by his collar and pretending to be sympathetic as he said "Oh you poor thing, you must be dehydrated!". He soon dragged Reki by his hood, snapping his finger to make Y/N follow him. "I'll take you to get some shade!" Kaoru said, bringing Reki and Y/N to a tree that was far away from the crowd.

A loud slap from a fan could than be heard, Y/N cringing as she saw the impact of the fan to Reki's face. "What's the most important rule?" Kaoru asked, Reki rubbing the cheek that got hit from his fan and muttering "Don't talk about "S" off the mountain...".

Kaoru grabbed Reki's collar, angrily telling him "Cherry Blossom only exists on that mountain, Shall I assume you came here to fight with me?". As Kaoru released Reki, Reki told him "I just need to know more about Adam.". "For what purpose?" Kaoru asked, walking away from Reki as Y/N looked over at him. "It's....It's for Langa, isn't it?" Y/N guessed, Reki nodding and looking down away from her.

"He really wants to beat Adam for you..."

Kaoru looked back, curious about this. "The newbie thinks he can beat the best," Kaoru thought, smirking to himself as he came to a conclusion, "What a strange boy...". Kaoru than turned to face the two, telling Reki "Bring me to this friend of yours."

"I have some tricks I could tell him..."

"So they're calling Langa "Snow" now?" Y/N asked, Reki nodding as she stuck out her tongue. "And I thought Cinderella was the worst they can come up with." When Y/N said this, Kaoru covered his face with his fan. He didn't want to show his disappointment as he was the one who started Y/N's "S" name.

The three than stopped at a skate park, Reki saying "I think he's still here...". As they entered, they saw that Shadow and Miya were already there, watching Langa skate inside the park. Y/N looked into the gated park, her eyes widening when she saw Langa flip his skateboard upside down and skated on it like that for a bit.

"Did he just-" "Perform a Casper slide?" Miya cut of Y/N's question, telling her "One of the most hardest tricks in freestyle skateboarding? yeah, he did...". Y/N looked over at Reki, asking the red head "What did you teach him?". "Just the basics!" "No way did he just learn the basics and perfect the casper slide!".

Y/N looked back at Langa, muttering under breath "I've been skateboarding for months and still haven't perfected it....". As Langa finished, he looked back to see Y/N, also noticing that Kaoru and Reki were there too. "Langa, am I right?" Kaoru asked as Langa approached him, the light blue haired boy nodding as Kaoru smiled.

"You're racing against Adam, So I thought it would be appropriate to explain his love hug to you..." Kaoru said, Langa looking over to see Y/N with a worried expression on her face. "It's best I explain somewhere else, as I won't be able to fully convey it here..." "And where would that be?" "You'll see."

That place just happened to be at Kojiro's restaurant, Kaoru going there to mainly use Kojiro as a test dummy. As the six entered the restaurant, Shadow looked at the place and said "This is a fancy place, I could take the boss here someday."

"Is there anything here without tomatoes?" Miya asked Kojiro, who wasn't expecting their arrival. "I don't remember you asking to use my restaurant?" Kojiro asked in shock, Kaoru only smirking at him. Kaoru than told Kojiro about Langa and his "Beef" with Adam, Kojiro only looking at Langa and telling him "Are you sure?" You saw how he skated last time..."

Just than, a growl was heard from Y/N's stomach....Than Langa's, Than Reki's, and soon after Miya's. As the four realized that they were hungry, Shadow slammed some money on the table and ordered "Five ramen bowls!". He only got back that the restaurant was an Italian joint.

After eating, Kaoru began to demonstrate the love hug. "First, start with maximum acceleration at towards the finish line." Kaoru said, staring to skate as he eventually continued with "Using a spin of 180 with a minimum turning radius."

As Kaoru turned, he eventually risen his skateboard, saying that the important part was coming up. "Now being the nose down hard, which will make it seem that Adam will appear right in front of you at of nowhere...". Y/N only tilted her head, realizing that the love hug was just that....

"It's that easy?" Y/N asked, remembering the time she attempted to do the "love hug". "You were doing it wrong." Kaoru explained, knowing what Y/N was thinking about, "Besides, you do need someone in front of you if you truly want it to work.". Y/N nodded and got up, grabbing Langa's arm in the process.

"What is the best place to talk to in private?" Y/N asked Kojiro, Kojiro telling her that it was the bathroom. "What do you need to know?" Kojiro asked, Y/N not telling him and pulling Langa into it. As Y/N shut the bathroom door, she leaned against it and sighed. "Y/N....I know your upset." Langa said, Y/N looking up at him.

Langa had a serious face, wanting to truly talk to Y/N about this. "I don't want you to get hurt like Reki, so just drop it with Adam...." "And let you race him and get injured or worse-" Langa stopped as he realized what he was thinking, covering his mouth when the thought came to his mind.

"Y/N....." Langa mumbled, Y/N looking away as Langa felt his eyes get watery. "You know what I told Reki.....Before he raced against Adam?" Y/N asked, Langa shaking his head. "What did you say?" "I told him....that he should just have fun..."

Y/N looked down, saying "I didn't want him to take it serious as I knew it would be a hindrance, so I told him that....In hopes that he would take it to heart and win.". Langa kneeled down to Y/N, taking her hand as he told her "And I'm guessing that it didn't work?". Y/N nodded, telling Langa "I want to tell you the same thing....But it would just be a repeat of history."

Langa sighed, hugging Y/N tightly as he said to her "You have every right to feel what your feeling, but I need to do this.". Langa released Y/N, Y/N punching where his chest was and told him "Than don't get hurt!". Langa smiled and nodded, patting Y/N's head as he did.

When Langa and Adam's beef came, Y/N stayed close to Cherry Blossom the entire time. She searched the area for Langa, holding her skateboard close to her. "Y/N?" Cherry Blossom asked, grabbing the young girl's attention.

He looked at her with sympathetic eyes, seeing just how nervous she was. "Are you sure you don't want to stay at home?" Cherry Blossom asked, Y/N shaking her head no and telling him "I want to see it for myself.". Cherry Blossom only nodded, the two than seeing the light around them go dark.

A bright light than appeared, A red carpet laying on the ground all the way up to Y/N. Soon, Adam appeared, in his hand a bouquet of red roses in his hand. Adam skated over to Y/N, Cherry Blossom getting in front of her and holding onto her hand tightly.

"A apology for the Cinderella." Adam said, handing the bouquet to Y/N. "Didn't mean to hurt your friend like that, No Prince Charming should ever do what I just did...". Y/N was going to grab the bouquet, but Cherry Blossom smacked it away. "No apology is ever going make you forgive her." Cherry Blossom said sternly, Adam only smiling as he  asked him in a mocking tone "Is that so?"

Cherry Blossom looked down, seeing that Y/N had picked up the bouquet and now had it in her arms. "What are you-" "I just want the flowers, that's it..." Cherry Blossom only sighed, seeing Adam smirked as he knew that he still won Y/N over either way.

"Excuse me?" A voice asked, Adam turning to see who it was. It was Langa, Reki standing beside him as he said "May we start soon?". Adam chuckled, nodding as he and Langa went over to the staring line. Y/N watched as the lights started to go all green, waiting to see who would go first.....But, none of them did.

Adam took out his anti case of cigarettes, taking a cigarette out and looking over to see that Langa was not moving from his spot. When Langa glanced over at Adam, he only said to him "Forgive my rudeness, Snow isn't it?".

Adam and Langa than took off, Y/N quickly going over to the tv to watch the race. "Who's in the lead?" Y/N asked, looking up to the screen to see that It was Adam. "Y/N, please calm down!" Cherry Blossom told her, going over to her and grabbing hand tightly.

Y/N looked back, seeing that Cherry Blossom was trying to pull her away. "I'm taking you back home!" He said, trying to pull her away but feeling him lose his grip on her. He looked back and saw that Y/N was gone. "Y/N!" He called out, looking around to see where she went.

"Yo, is Cinderella joining too?" A voice from the crowd asked, Cherry Blossom going over to the starting line and seeing that Y/N had now passed it, following and hoping to catch up to Adam and Langa. Cherry Blossom was about to follow her himself, but was stopped by Joe.

"Let her go..." Jow told Cherry Blossom, Cherry Blodsom only shaking his head no and saying out loud "She'll get killed if She skates near Adam at this time!". Cherry Blossom looked back to the screen, seeing that Adam was about to perform his love hug on Langa.

Meanwhile with Y/N, she skated her way down the race path, hoping to get to Langa in time. She saw what Adam was doing to him, the older man prepping the boy for his love hug. It was the same thing he did with Reki, and Y/N wasn't going to cause another injury.

"Please....Not Langa...." Y/N thought, hearing the sound of wheels approaching her as she made it to where Adam and Langa where. She saw that Adam had put Langa in the same position Reki was back in their "Beef" and was about to release him to finish the love hug. So, Y/N did the only logical thing she could do.

"STOP!"

Adam heard the young girl's scream, releasing Langa and turning back to see her. Adam started to slow down on his skateboard, causing Langa to take the lead. "Why are you here?" Adam thought, Y/N's heart stopping when she saw that Adam was looking at her.

Adam was confused....but he than realized that he can make due with this. Besides, he does truly need to see if this was really her, after all. So, Adam skated near Y/N and grabbed her, whispering into her ear "You know, I could care less about my "Beef" right now...."

Y/N tried to free herself, but Adam's only tighten his grip, bringing pain to Y/N. "Ever since I saw you skate the first time, I was entranced by how well you did even when you were at the age of a beginner." Adam than went closer to Y/N, licking her cheek as he muttered "You were my equal and I at first thought you were my Eve....but I found someone even better." Adam than revealed to Y/N his shoulder, showing a birthmark that was the shape of a heart.

"You're my Seth.....My child."

Y/N's eyes widen, not wanting to accept the information she was now given. Adam.....Adam was her father? He couldn't be, as if he was, Y/N would have been aware of this right now. Even than, how do you find out that someone is your daughter by simply seeing them skate?

But than again....She remembered how her mother said that they only thing she took from her father was her birthmark....

Y/N froze, Adam eventually skating away from her and smiling, now deciding to perform a certain trick on her now. Langa had witnessed everything, horrified over what was going to happen. "Y/N!" Langa called out, seeing Adam perform turn his skateboard at 180 with a minimum turn.

"Y/N! Snap out of it!" Langa yelled out, seeing that Adam was closing in on Y/N. Everyone that watched the TV screen was horrified, the one who couldn't bare to watch was Cherry Blossom. "Y/N, GET THE FUCK OUT OF THERE!" Cherry Blossom screamed, knowing that she couldn't hear him.

Shadow looked away, Miya covered his eyes, Joe turned his back to the screen, And Reki could only scream.

Soon, Y/N snapped back to reality, putting her foot down on the nose of her skateboard and going up to the sky, flipping away from Adam and
