I woke up feeling a bit energetic as I rubbed my eyes, "What time is it?...." I looked at the clock and it was now 3 in the morning and was shocked about it but I shook it off as I layed back and tried to go back to sleep.... It's been 30 minutes and still awake, frustrated about it, I sat up and looked at the window to clear up my mind... Suddenly I saw a lamp post appeared shining through the darkness, "Wait... That lamp post isn't there before.... Should I check it out?..." I hesitated and thought this through.... "Hmmm...... I'm still a bit energetic so, why not" I looked at my left side and saw Alban still sleeping, I smiled and gave him a peck on the forehead as I quietly got out off the bed. I took a coat off from Alban's closet and quietly walked out of the room, I continued my journey as I felt excitement through my veins, I don't know why though, but the feeling of it makes me even more curious... I was now at the entrance door but as I touched it, I felt the coldness outside making me really excited for some reason, I quickly backed away and that excitement vanished... I could sense the cold is calling me to come out... Suddenly I was in a trans as I dropped the coat down and impatiently opened the door.... The breeze of the cold went through me as I laughed in joy, I ran out and followed the breeze as if we were dancing through a ball, I giggled as the breeze played around me but was interrupted by a voice.

"I see that your quite a graceful dancer lady Y/N..." "W-who's there!..." I backed away in fear, a big man who came out of his cart appeared, "Don't fear, your grace, I am just a humble merchant..." "Merchant?..." "Forgive my manners, I am the duke, providing everyone's needs... And may I ask why are you here in this cold morning?..." "O-Oh... I was just walking around and needed some fresh cold air... And may I also asked on how do you know my name?..." The duke chuckled, "My my, what an optimistic approach you have there lady Y/N, why your the talk of the village! Especially to the Lords..." "Village?... I thought the lycans eradicated it" "Well yes but, some survivors are still roaming... Just, hiding...." "Im glad..." As I sighed in relieve, "What troubles you lady Y/N?..." " Oh, its just that... I wish I could go to the village once more... But Im afraid I can't" "How so?..." "I just thought they won't recognize me, since I have a new form in all..." "I see, so that means you are apart of Mother Miranda's family now..." I scoffed, "That's absurd, how can a local girl become one of the powerful lords?..." "You tell me my lady, after all Lord Dimitrescu is slowly falling in love with you..." I blushed and covered my face as I heard the duke laughing... "Come, I have prepared tea for this cold beautiful morning, on the house my lady..." "Thank you duke..." I smiled and sat near him as we continued our small talk till the sun rose....

I yawned as I stretched, "What a beautiful morning... Isn't it my dearest?..." I looked to my side but was shocked to see Y/N nowhere to be found, I started to panic but shook it off, "Maybe she woke up early and prepared herself" I stood and walked towards the door that was connected to Y/N's room, I knocked then slowly entered the room but still Y/N is nowhere to be found. I started to panic even more yet worried. I closed the door behind me and prepared myself as I went out to find Y/N. I started to over think of where and what happened to her since she has a new form, but it was not too long when I saw the entrance door wide open and a coat on ground as the breeze went through. I picked the coat off the ground and started to panic even more, I went out as I held the coat tight as I began to shout Y/N's name out loud, "Y/N! Y/N! Where are you!" As I started to get worried, but suddenly heard laughing at the distance, my eyes grew wide and noticed that laugh as I shout, "Y/N?... Y/N!" I finally saw her sitting near the duke and having a small conversation between them, Y/N saw me running towards her and quickly gave her a big hug, "You almost gave me a heart attack! Where have you been!" "I was just taking for a stroll, I didn't mean to worry you my lord" I sighed and proceeded to put the coat around her, "Never do that again, my love..." As I gently carried her, "Of course my dear..."She said as she hugged me tight, I thanked the duke for taking care of Y/N while I wasn't around and proceeded to go back to the castle....
