"Ruka, I never knew you were the romantic type." The two lovers are currently on nanba shore, watching as the sun retreat slowly.

"Only the best for y-"

"And so cheap." (Y/n) giggled to herself as she looked at Ruka's offended face.

"Which I love. Not too exaggerating." She whispered and at that, Ruka made a small victory dance in his mind.

⊹And don't forget the flowers anniversary.⊹

It was their 5th year anniversary of being lovers. Yes they've been together even at the time when Ruka was in jail.

The man's shift was over and made the second step of getting (y/n) the happiest woman in the world.

He wandered around Nanba, the 5 o'clock sky above him while looking for a place that sells flowers.

When he found no store around the small stands, Ruka decided to check the mall instead.

It was nearing 5:30 and he was frantic, hoping that he won't miss the dinner his lovely girlfriend cooked for them.

Stepping inside the mall, he looked around from store to store until his amethyst eyes landed on a shop titled [Flowers] in fancy fonts.

He quickly dashed towards it, surprising some people but ignored them, his focus right now is to get (Favourite flower).

After some time of hunting the flower down, he payed for it and quickly went to his and (y/n)'s apartment.

"I'm hoomme!" Ruka exclaimed, wearing a happy face because of his success.

"Fucking Christ, I thought you're with your bOyfriEnD again." He blushed furiously but not at the mention of enki being his boyfriend but at (y/n)'s appearance.

He had seen her wearing make up but it was usually light and doesn't change anything on her at all, this is the first time she put some color on her face for once, along with a simple (color) dress to accompany her looks.

"And I thought you'd never doll up~" Ruka cooed and now it's (y/n)'s turn to tint her cheeks with pink.

He walked towards her leisurely and at the same pace pulled out the bundle of (favourite flower) behind him.

She gasped upon seeing the her Beautiful favourite flowers and instead of taking them, (y/n) hugged Ruka.
"When did you become so romantic???" She questioned, being short, her voice got mufled by Ruka's chest.

"Ever since you said 'yes'~"

⊹-Even when I'm acting crazy, tell me everything's alright~⊹

(Y/n)'s blood shedding month arrived.

Ruka is always cautious during this time of the month since his girlfriend is an unpredictable human being.

She could be happy for a minute and the next second she would go throw her (weapon) across the room.

This time, is no different from the other times.

"babe please... Can you not throw everything around...?" Ruka was hopelessly trying to calm his currently berserk girlfriend who was throwing teddy bears, pillows, everything not fragile.

And then she accidentally knocked over a vase.

The shattering sound echoed throughout the room, both of them looking to where the noise was

"R-ruka..." (Y/n) said, looking up at the furios looking male.

She began to sob uncontrollably when she saw his glaring eyes.

"Tch... I can't really blame you for this can I?" His glare softened a bit as he shook his head.

"I'm sorry!!" (Y/n) continued sobbing once again, but this time louder.

Ruka sighed and crouched infront of her, pulling (y/n) in a hug.

"It's alright."

Ruka had always trouble sleeping even though he always talks about '9 hours of beauty sleep' at work, he actually never does it.

"Mhh.... Ruka?" (Y/n) Groaned and stirred in her left side of the bed, looking at the empty spot on her right.

"Ruka??" She said louder and a a questioning hum answered her.

The girl sat up from her bed, her eyes darting from left to right looking for her boyfriend.

Slowly, she made her way to him and stood beside Ruka, both their eyes on the Galaxy like night.

"Can't sleep again?" She asked, her eyes still glued on the star filled night.

"No, just waiting for Peter pan." He sarcastically answered which earned him an angelic laugh from (y/n).

"We've been together for 5 years now..." That statement surprised (y/n), what is he trying to say?

"Yeah... Why? Are you getting tired of-" Before she could finish voicing out her hunch, Ruka smashed his lips on hers, not wanting to hear what she has to say.

Both were running out of air so they broke it off, the male intently looked at (y/n)'s (color) orbs lovingly.

"Don't ever say that, you're the most beautiful and perfect girl for me. No one else could could ever replace you." He pulled her to a tight hug, her hugging him back as well.

Nothing but peaceful silent, the moon and star surrounded the two lovers.

"Were you trying to say that, after 5 years of being together, I still didn't beg you for a baby?" Unfortunately, (y/n) cut through the Beautiful moment.

"...yes"

⊹After every fight, just apologize.⊹

"Enki this, Enki that! Why don't you just ditch me and be with that gorrila instead!?" If it wasn't already obvios enough, the two are currently fighting.

Apparently, Ruka came home late once again, completely forgetting their movie date for the evening and was instead- as you can guess-with Enki.

"Let me explain, I have alot in mind right now and have other important things to prioritize." Ruka firmly said.

(Y/n) looked at him, offended at his words and Ruka realized what he had said.

"Wait no! I didn-" A hard impact on his cheek cut his sentence off, his girlfriend looking down as a few glittering liquid fell down her face.

"I'm...so sorry. I didn't mean it that way." Hesitantly, he caged (y/n) in his arms, her soft sobs were muffled by his shirt.

"That's all I wanted to hear...and something else too."

The teal haired male sighed, knowing exactly what she meant. "I'll spend more time with you, I promise it this time."

"I'm telling you, My hero academia is top 1 well known anime in the world!" (Y/n) argued while the three guards looks at her in disbelief.

"Ma'am, I respect your opinion but I'm pretty sure Haikyuu is top nowadays." Haru, the deputy supervisor said in his matter-of-factly.

"What!? No way! Kimetsu no yaiba is definitely top and popular right now!" The assistant supervisor, Aki, argued, his hand slamming on the table to emphasize his point.

"Guys guys guys! It's obvious that it's Toilet-bound hanako-kun. I mean it's the new popular one." Natsu, the chill one among the guards- despite his name meaning 'summer'- said calmly and cooly.

"How about Ruka choose which one?" (Y/n) pointed at the male behind her, the 3 guys surprised and unaware of his presence the whole time.

Ruka sweat dropped, not really knowing much about anime even though his girlfriend would constantly watch them.

"I think (y/n) is right about my hero- something being the top.." The three guards groaned at his response.

"No fair! Of course you'd choose her because she's your girlfriend!"- Aki

"I have to agree. I bet you don't even know what anime is." - Haru

"Chill y'all. Man's just voicing his thoughts...or rather his girlfriend's thoughts." - Natsu

"I know she's right because-" Ruka dramatically stop, shushing the 3 complaining males.

"Because?" Haru asked curiously.

"Women are never wrong..." He deadpanned, shedding a few animated tears.

"My god...what have you done to traumatized him like this, supervisor?" Haru asked and (y/n) just shrugged unknowingly.

"He's right though! Why disagree when I'm ALWAYS right!"

5:00 strikes and it was time for both (y/n) and Ruka to head home.

As always, (y/n) would head over to building 5 and see if Ruka is around, if not, then that means just one ticket ride home.

Samon saw her head peeking in the building's main office and greeted her.

"Hey, if you're looking for that fishy boyfriend of yours, he's with my brother like always." At the last phrase, he rolled his apple green eyes, annoyed at Ruka for stealing Enki away.

"I had a hunch...I guess just one ticket again today." She sadly retreated her head from the crack of the door and walked to the exit gate.

Loud heels ran frantically towards her and nearly fell over when the figure launched at her.

"Why did you leave without informing meee??" Ruka whined, hugging her tightly in the process but she wasn't affected.

"You were with Enki again, I didn't wanna disturb your dAtE." She pulled herself away from his grip and continued walking faster but since Ruka has them model legs, he was able to effortlessly catch up.

"I was just asking enki-san for.. some advice." The man was never good at lying but being the good girlfriend she is, (y/n) just let it slide.

"Remember your promise. We'll be spending the whole week together and don't you dare stay extra hours at work for that gorrila." Ruka obliged and the two went home hand in hand.

That week they spent doing all the things (y/n) like but occasionally Ruka would suggest as well, I mean he can't keep spoiling his girlfriend, right? As much as he likes it.

All guards were chilling in the break room, doing their usual thing.

Like always, the two love birds were out on building 5's sanctuary, walking and talking or occasionally, Ruka would swim in the pool.

And today is the day the kappa is back in his natural habitat while his girlfriend is just watching him, only (y/n)'s legs were expose to the water.

Ruka swam a bit to fast which you can already guess, got (y/n)'s clothes wet.

"Tch. Now you got me wet." She pouted and Ruka smirked at her comment.

"Aw heck naw you damn kappa! This is why I don't allow you to hang around inori, you're getting infected by his pervertedness!" (Y/n) stood up and went to grab Ruka's towel, using it to wipe herself dry.

"I didn't think of anything dirty! I'm just smirking. Am I not allowed~?" When the woman looked back to her boyfriend, he made a cute pouty face which made (y/n) heat up.

Appearantly Ruka noticed this despite him being far and wanted to tease (y/n).

" Why so red? Maybe you're the dirty one~"

"Sure I am. And what are you? a gentleman?" (Y/n) unenthusiastically said.

Ruka put a proud face on but smirking at the end of his sentence. "Of course. I'm always a GENTLE man around you~"

(Y/n)'s face flushed knowing what he meant by that.
"DIRTY!"

Today's the day.

It's (y/n)'s birthday and also the day Ruka will finnaly propose after 5 years of being together with her.

His got everything planned already. To everyone, they will surely think that Ruka will be flashy when he'll propose but that's not what the man is planning.

Luckily, the warden gave them both a day off since Ruka told her about his plans and now here they are in (y/n)'s favourite place, having a picnic.

As much as he's excited to propose, He needs to find a good moment to do it.

Ruka knew (y/n)'s love for the night sky, that's why her favourite place is up in the hills, so he planned on kneeling down when the sun is completely replaced by the moon.

(I'm pretty sure nanba doesn't have a hill but just imagine ok? I mean that prison has a fucking mall and skating arena, surely there's a mountain there somewhere.)

That time is nearing.

They both watched as the sun is slowly disappearing, the moon slowly rising up from behind them and Ruka unsuspectingly fidgeting the small box in his hands.

"Well it's sun down! We better wrap things up, thanks for the peaceful birthday, Ruka!" (Y/n) stood up from her spot and was about to pack up but Ruka's hand stop her from doing anything further.

"Wait... There's one last present for you." The woman looked at him expectingly.

His eyes anxiously dart to the now fully up moon and tried to calm his beating heart.

He grabbed the (color) box from behind him, the words he was dying to say ready to roll out of his tongue.

(Y/n)'s expression turned from curiosity to a happy surprised one as she watched Ruka slowly kneeling down, opening up the box in the process.

"...Will you mar-"

"I HUNDRED FUCKING TIMES YES!"

She launched at him, tears of joy streaming down her face as she hugged her soon to be husband tightly.

Ruka chuckled, breaking off the hug and taking her left hand.

"You didn't even let me finish my sentence, it was supposed to be the best part." He jokingly gave her an annoyed look as he put the (color) mixed with blue diamond ring on her ring finger, (y/n) just laughed at his expression, tears are still uncontrollably falling down her cheeks.

"You'll repeat that sentence on our wedding day anyways~"

"I guess you're right." Ruka kissed (y/n) after putting the ring on her, it was like any other kiss they shared though it's still special.

When they broke off, (y/n) looked gave Ruka a closed eyes smile before saying,

"Future husband, better love me right~!"
