Somehow, by someone, you got set up on a blind date and unfortunately for you, it was the dog guard you did not want to interact with.

You never liked interacting with other guards and that includes Yozakura Kenshirou.

Not that you had a grudge against him or your staff mates but you're just very bad at human language- AKA socializing.

"...so do you know...who did this to us?" You asked akwardly, Kenshirou sitting beside you in the train going to the city.

Knowing that you get to leave the prison walls, you suspected that it could be one of the head staffs but only Warden Hyakushiki came to mind and you're sure she's not the type to do these romantic set up stuff.

"And here I thought I'm the craziest person here..."

"Shut it Tsuru...OMG! THEIR SHOULDERS ARE TOUCHING!!!!"

"Warden... shouldn't you be-"

"SHUT UP!"

Kenshirou didn't reply, it's as if he's ignoring your existence.

"...you could just nod or hum in response..." He did what you said and nodded.

You thought, This will be a very weird and long date.

Once you two made it to the center, you walked side by side, going into some few shops here and there as well as eating some street food.

It was surprisingly a fun and pleasant date.

You watched from a park as clouds slowly transitioned from white to grey and you already knew it will rain.

Kenshirou noticed this as well and tapped your shoulder, " we should find a shelter."

You, "Mhm."

The two of you walked for quite some time, looking for a shop that sells umbrellas or just anywhere that can pretect you from the rain.

Unfortunately, the park you two were in was deep in nature and far from the city center, not to mention, you came there by taxi and with the rain already lightly pouring, you doubt taxis will still pass by.

You looked completely hopeless, Kenshirou however, looked very calm as he reached out for one of his shopping bags.

His action confused you and just watched what he's gonna do. To your surprise, he pulled out the same cape he wears everyday at work and covered the both of you with it.

Just In Time, the rain started to pour heavily, the air felt colder so you unnoticeably scooched closer to him for warmth.

"Won't it be drenched too?" You asked.

"This was made by the otogis with my requests. This cape is pretty much indestructible." He explained to you but sounded more like boasting.

You noticed how the cape's scent was familiar, "mhhh cheery blossoms... Smells like you."

".........t-thank you....?" Kenshirou blushed and looked away trying to hide it but you already saw.

You chuckled and asked, "Gimme one of this cape, will ya?"

He blushed deeply and this time, burried his face in his hands, still not saying anything.

"Btw, thanks for the date." You smiled at him even if he didn't see you and leaned in to kiss his forehead, which made his eyes widen and heart beats faster.

"jdnsjdbsjsnbeidb THEY KISSED!" Momo exclaimed in her normal high pitched voice while intensely shaking the sleeping Mitsuru who got woken up

"Wh-who- they? What? Wha kiss? Who kiissed?" He slurred out.

"(L/n) and Yozakura!"

"THEY WHAT!?"

"Oh nevermind. Just a forehead kiss."

"I SAID WAKE ME UP IF THEY DO TONGUE TO TONGUE NOT THIS BORING #$-$#&$£¥€_##"

"I'm disappointed as much as you are."
