I sat down at one of the chairs of the pool deck. After some time Kuina sat down next to me, with her bikini back again on. I changed my clothes to a black bikini top, some blue shorts and a open blouse over it. "Hey, thanks for saving us back there." She said, smiling. "Ann would have had the situation under control if I didn't get the answer. She was testing me." Kuina just gave a long 'ooohh...' from her. "My mother is stuck in a hospital.", she suddenly started. "She can't even go to the toilet by herself. And I wound up here. That's why I need to survive and go home." I nodded and understood her, but I had no one to survive for, just myself. The music suddenly turned off and I saw the militant corps walking our way. Aguni walked over and asked. "Where's your friend?" I knew Aguni from another game, I didn't came alone here, I came with my best friend. We both were with Aguni in our first game. "Oh yeah? She's dead? Too bad." I knew I shouldn't let him provoke me, but that was too much. I stood up fast and kicked into his weak spot. "Oh shit." Last boss and Niragi turned their weapons fast to me and I just held my hands up. "Say that again, and I'll kill you.", told I Aguni. My voice was filled with anger and I needed to concentrate, or else I probably would have pnched him into his ugly face. Niragi took my hand and before he could do something other, I turned his arm around, so it will hurt a lot. "Bitch!" Before last boss could attack me, hatter came. "Back of Hatter, this is none of your business.", Aguni said. "But this business is mine." Ok, that was pretty good. "I am the beach's leader. What I say is the law here. And I'm saying.. that you will keep your hands off the newcomers, Aguni." He walked near to Aguni. "Niragi?" Niragi looked away with his gun in the other hand, cause the other one is probably hurting. "The only boss I have is the general." The hatter looked back to the general. "Then I will ask the general. Who do you think is your boss, then, Aguni?" Aguni turned to him. " I know it is you." The hatter slightly nodded. "Shower once in a while." He has sarcasm, but he's still an asshole. "Executive members! Meeting in the conference room.", the Hatter told and a part of the militant corps walked away. "You too. Ann and Chishiya told me you have potential. You're officially an executive member. Come with us."

I watched the whole scene. She's a master in diamonds, just like me, but she can also defend herself and fight. I walked over to Kuina who was standing up from the beach chair. "So? How was she? Is she good?" Kuina took her fake cigarette out of her mouth. "She was great."

I followed the hatter to the room, where I woke up. The curtains were closed and in the middle was a long table with chairs around it. "All right, let's start the meeting. If you're not an executive member, leave the room." Some people walked out and some sat down at the table. I leaned against the wall, cause I wanted to be keep in the background. There were the Hatter, number 2, Ann, Niragi, last boss, Aguni and Chisya. I already thought he must be an executive member. As he saw that I had seen him, he waved to me again with a small smile. "We took the two of spades, six of spades, four of diamonds and the two of clubs.", listed the black clothes girl and laid the cards in front of the hatter. She continued "So far, the existence of any face cards has not been confirmed." "If there are no face cards, then only the ten of hearts remains.", began the number two. "The ten of hearts. It hasn't appeared in any game yet." Suddenly Ann started to speak. "If the ten of hearts hasn't appeared yet, then maybe there's a reason for it. Perhaps it's not in tokyo." As I knew this talk was getting boring, I stopped to listen. Chishiya must have noticed this, as he was staring the whole time at me. Suddenly I heard that they were talking about me. "The black haired girl cleared the eight of hearts game. I guess that means...if she can do it, then anyone can!" She laughed at her own words. "I'm smarter than you, emo." I whispered, but somehow everybody heard. "You cleared the eight of hearts? Can you give us any advice?" Now he was the one laughing. He completely ignore what I just said. I didn't answer, I know he's gonna die anyway. "There's no way to predict when a hearts game may appear. Don't forget, we only find out what the game is after registration closes." And again they're talking about boring themes. "Executives, you're in charge while I'm away. Meeting adjourned!" God finally.

After the chaotic meeting, my feet dragged me to the roof. I discovered it as I explored the whole thing here. I sit down at the edge and sigh. Finally some quiet. It was directly destroyed when the door to the roof opened. I screamed inside. The person stood behind me and I knew exactly who it was. "Hello, Chishiya." I turned my head around, waving at him. "What exposed me?", he asked, sitting down next to me, but leaving enough space. "Your walking, you can hear when people are walking with their hands in their pockets. Not only that, your smell did expose you also, it's a sweet one, pretty surprising for such a cold person. Now you're body heat exposes you sitting next to me, not everyone has that. There are also some reasons you're here. You watched every of my move the whole meeting, meaning you're thinking about something that has anything to do with me, our you wanting to get my attention. It could also be that you're gonna tell me your and Kuinas plan you want to recruit me for. It could also be that you have no friends and want to talk to someone who is as cold as you, but I wouldn't think that. Maybe you're in love with me, that's why you're always staring at me. Who knows? I could tell you a bunch of other reasons, but now I let you talk." He thought for a while, pretty surprised what i just told him all. "And i always thought I'm the smartest in the beach." He whispered loud enough for you to hear. "You are, I'm just your secret partner in crime." I smiled at him. There was a long silence after. "I heard from Ann you did the testing game in three minutes.", he started. "I was annoyed, because Ann told me that she would be testing me and they were just talking, while we were getting closer to dying. So I just did the game fast. Then at some point they noticed and were confused, but then realised I just did the whole game alone." I smiled at my own story, bringing the memory again up. "Ann is very smart too, beautiful and an executive member. You should date her.", I said before he could say anything else. "And why should I do that? You're too smart, beautiful and an executive member." He turned his head to me. "I don't know, maybe you like her or find her interesting." I ignored completely that he complimented me. "No, not Ann. I'm very sure she's lesbian." Now I was the surprised one. "Oohh.."

After some time, it got colder and I saw how the girl next to me shivered. I took off my jacket and gave it her. She was confused at first, but then thanked me for it and put it on. I had a long sleeved t-shirt under, so it didn't bothered me, but I know it bothered her, she was only wearing some shorts and a bikini top with a light blouse over it. "You know, I never got your name." She looked at me, but then realised. "Oh, it's Yuna. I told nobody my name here in this Tokyo yet, well, till now." I was pretty shocked at her answer. "Do you think I can get my bow back?" She asked me. "After you kicked Aguni in his eggs, I'm not sure Iif he will allow you to have weapons." Yuna nodded at my answer. "And it will be a lot of harder when he's the leader of the beach." Now I nodded, we both knew that was today the last time we saw the hatter alive. "Hatter is going to stand through the game probably, but won't make it to the beach alive.", Yuna said, watching the people from the roof. I nodded. "So, you already know a pair of reasons why I came here, but the really reason is, I wanted to tell you the plan." I began. She listened quiet and nodded some times, to let me know she's listening, while I explained her what I have planned. "Ok, let me think about it. Do you know the code of the safe?" I shook my head. "Still trying to find out." Then, there was this long silence again, but it wasn't uncomfortable, I felt actually very safe next to her. "I'm getting tired, we should probably head to bed.", she said, standing up from the edge. After we left the roof and she told me her room number, that was next to mine, cause she's a executive member now, I walked with her to her room. "What a gentleman.", Yuna told me, I just shook my head at her. "No, I'm just being nice. My room is next to yours." She put a smile on and said: "I know. But you're still being nice, even if you act right now cold again. Goodnight Chishiya Shuntaro." She closed the door to her room, leaving me alone in the hallway. What is this woman doing to me.
