Y/N'S P.O.V

It's already evening, Me, Killua and Gon infiltrate the Republic East of Gorteau rather easily.

Killua warn us about informants that take rewards once they discover an enemy spy, as well as when they stop someone from leaving the country, which can be detrimental to the whole family. However, if someone provides false information, or someone commits a crime, the entire group of informants is punished.

"K-Killua I think you should stop explaining" I said with a nervous laugh while looking at Gon. "huh- hey! Don't overheat!" Killua said while facing Gon.

"I th-think I'm okay....That was just so complicated..." Gon replied as we continue to walk. "But you sure know a lot about it." Gon said.

"Probably Illumi told him everything..." I said then Killua look at me and said " Yeah, he told me and he probably heard it from Grandpa" he continue talking while I started spacing off.

' I really think Illumi cares for Kil, it's just that.. he has his own ways of expressing it? pft nahh I dont know maybe? maybe not-'

"There's a village." Gon said snapping me from my thoughts I look around and observe the village. "Yeah... it's not very big." I said still looking at the village. "What do we do?" Gon questioned. "Sneak in. The more data we have, the better. Wait here." Killua said and proceeds to sneak for himself.

After a while, Killua signal us to follow. We stay in a deserted house and Killua deduces that there is something hidden based on the bloody mess on the floor and bullet holes in the walls. We follow a trail of blood outside until we reach buried villagers. Killua believes it is a sign for the entire population of cities and villages to vanish and that the selection has already begun. Killua thinks that causing a commotion during their selection will be simple: they take out whoever gets controlled and cause a panic. The only problem is detection.

" So, what should we do?" Killua ask looking at me and Gon. "Let's do it." we replied in unison. "If the selectioon has already begun, we can't just watch around and do nothing." Gon continue.

"Okay, let's do it." Killua replied with a smile. ' ahh that smile....'

"But, I'll do this alone." killua said while pointing at himself. "You guys stay in hiding." he continued. "Yeah, sorry hun but no" I said while smiling at him.

"Don't forget our main mission! Defeating that Chimera ant." He said while looking stirnly at me.

" NO❤" he was about to talk but I quickly shush him, " Gon will be the one hiding, I am coming with you, whether you like it or not." I said while looking at him dead in the eye.

"Sigh. Fine, Gon that Chimera Ant should be you focus. Let me and y/n handle everything else." He said continue walking. "Don't worry Gon! We'll stir things up." I said while patting his back.

"Jeez... Fine, I get it." Gon replied then suddenly Killua stop walking making me bump on his back. "ohh fuc-fudge..."

"Really?" he said while looking at Gon.

"huh?"

"Do you really understand?"

"Killua...."

"Promise me you won't make a move!! Not even if people are killed right before your eyes! Promise!" Killua yelled at Gon.

Gon just looks down and didn't say anything. With that, he grabs my hand and face his back to Gon. "We'll contact you by text. our cellphone should still work on this area." he said while holding my hand tightly.

With that Me and Killua part ways from Gon.

"Are you sure you want to come with me?" Killua ask while looking at me.

" Haiii~ I know Gon will be okay. Don't worry, okay?" I said, squeezing his hand.

We're walking in silence, Killua still holding my hand.

We plan our next approach on the nearest village. We runs off but when something blocks our way, Me and Killua decides to turn another way.

We run around the city and shouts that Ming Jol-ik has fallen. The citizens call us a rebel and start throwing things at us.

"Fucking dumbass! I'll really laugh if you guys end up being dead." I muttered while punching the wall, breaking it.

Knowing that the odds are against us now, Killua decides to take out as many puppets and soldiers as we can.

"Damn, we're being followed! And he's way out of yo-yo range." Killua said as we keep on running.

" Should I kill it?" I said while tilting my head. " How?" he ask while looking at me.

"Watch." I said while winking. With that I quickly punch the tree and use telekinesis to send it towards the flying ant at full speed.

"Bullseye!" I yelled as I saw it falling. " Heh? Not bad.." Killua said while smirking.

" It's not dead though, probably just unconscious." I said and he only nodded.

We jump off a cliff and heads into dense forest.

Two Chimera Ants attack us simultaneously and the scorpion-like Ant is immediately decapitated.

Killua proceeds to take out the other two Chimera Ants at the same time while ai take three.

Two remain and decide to Regroup, but they are followed by us.

Killua jumps down to attack him, but the Carabid Beetle blasts a huge fireball towards him and leaves.

"That bastard..." Killua said.

"That was so h-hot-ehem." I quickly look away from him. ' I probably have a nosebleed by now...'

"Y/n, let's go!" Killua yelled,and with that we started running again. As we keep on running, I sense something and about to hit Killua but, I quickly push him and take the hit.

"Y/N!!!" Killua yelled while running towards me. I remove what's stuck on my face and is surprised to see a flea.

And again I was hit once more, this time, on the neck.

"Oh for fucks sake! Just face us already!" I yelled while holding the wounds.

Killua immediately examine the wound and "shit it's not closing. You shouldn't take that hit! You should had let it hit me!" He yelled at me, a vein pop out on my forehead and is about to talk to him but quickly shut up and begins to dodge the fleas.

Killua cannot use En, so he manages to surround himself in aura that stretches 57 centimeters. However, he gets hit. In all his frustration, he follows the direction of the attack.

"Oi! Killua- shit! Hey wait!" I yelled while started following him. I started to feel dizzy because of the bleeding. 'fuck yeah I should have considered healing abilities.' I thought as I slightly stumble.

Killua locates the sniper, but the sniper runs off. He stops in front of a hole "This is a trap. You still wanna come?" He said then jumps off.

He quickly grab him and said "Couldn't care less." and sticks his claws into the sniper's skull.

"Die."

'well shit c-cool...'

The sniper transforms into another being and pulls Killua down into an underground lake. Marine Chimera Ants immediately sense blood and rush over to attack the body.

Ikalgo points a gun at Killua while I point my Scythe at him.

Killua is holding one of Ikalgo's tentacles, and his other arm holding me by my waist.

"Bastard! How dare yoy chop off my precious legs?!" He said.

"Man, I'm kinda hungry. Should I cook you?" I said while looking at him with a sadistic grin.

Killua's hold tighten making mw yelp, "jeez, chill I was just joking". I said while pouting.

" I couldn't let you drag us into the water. This suction cups saved me." He said then pause and look at him.

" Anyway, aren't you an octopus?" He continues while looking at him blankly.

"DON'T CALL ME AN OCTOPUS!" He yelled.

"E-eh? Pftt dang stop denying it octopops!" I said between laughs while hitting the..... Air.

"Aren't you an octopus though?" Killua ask for the second time.

He angrily denies it. He raises his gun and uses it to get away from Killua. Killua catches up to him and I quickly grab his gun.

"Yo, we meet again." Killua said while looking at

Ikalgo.? Yeah that must be it.

"S-S-So we do.... Long time, no see! Ya know?" Ikalgo said while sweating.

"Sorry sweetie but we still need you to answer our questions." I said as while pulling him towards me and use Physic Hold to bind him.

"Sure, sure! Go ahead!" He said happily.

Why didn't you dive underwater to escape?" Killua ask, catching Ikalgo off guard.

" You should have advantage in the water. Don't tell me you can't swim?~" I ask with a teasing smirk.

" U-uh well...."

"It's the blood, right?" Killua ask.

He then deduces that Ikalgo cannot swim, his tentacles are leaking blood and, drawn by the smell of blood, his subordinates will attack no matter who it is.

Killua makes a deal with Ikalgo: he will spare Ikalgo's life if he shares information about Flutter's ability, and gives him ten seconds to answer.

As Killua starts to count, Ikalgo narrates his wish to become a squid instead, as he thinks octopi are ugly. With two seconds left, Ikalgo cuts off his gun and lets himself fall, saying that he won't betray a friend.

Before he could fall, Killua catches him using his yo-yo.

"W-why?"

"Because you're a cool guy. In different circumstances you could have been our friends." Killua said.

'ahh I see, so the real battle starts here... '

I thought as Killua throws Ikalgo to the other side of the cave and the two of us gets attacked by a gigantic Chimera Ant shark instead.
