Returning back to school was bittersweet. Sure she now had her two boyfriends, labels be damned, but she couldn't forget about what Suho told her and Seojun.

That her new friend, Lim Jugyeong, had feelings for him.

She didn't care to know the how and when of it all. Suho didn't know either when these feelings for him sprouted but he proved that he wanted to be with Chankyung and no one else. But now that they were back at Saebom the challenge came of keeping the three way relationship for multiple reasons.

Suho, because he told a girl at their school that he liked someone, now all the school bullies were keeping an eye on him to beat up whatever girl they thought he was talking about.

Seojun, was still considered a delinquent by their school, had many people who would love to exploit his weakness by getting to Chankyung.

But the main reason was the one they didn't bring up. None of them knew how any of their friends, or the general public, would take to a three way relationship. Even if they were still figuring it out themselves on how this would work. With how conservative the country was neither wanted to take a chance by making their relationship public so they all agreed to keep quiet about it the night before they returned to school and to try and pretend that nothing had changed between them.

Which seemed to have escaped Suho's mind when he entered class, dropping off a bottle of chocolate milk on her desk, and then briskly walking away to his desk. Chankyung stiffened as she looked on the bottle on her desk, shifting in her seat when she heard the chatter of her classmates shift over to focus on her and why Suho did such a thing, while Seojun glared at him from his seat.

'Is he crazy, bold, or just stupid?' Chankyung thought, before standing up. She grabbed the bottle on her desk, walked over to the trash can in their class and calmly threw it out. 'Let Seojun yell at him for this. I don't have it in me to be mad right now.' She then walked back to her desk, passing by Jugyeong, who had been watching her since this morning when they all came to class.

Chankyung tried not to let her discomfort show as she walked past Jugyeong and sat down at her desk. The chatter from her classmates had lessened, probably disappointed that it hadn't been more dramatic of a gesture as they thought, but she could still feel their eyes on her and imagined they were coming to their own conclusion about her and Suho.

Lunch Time
School Roof

"Suho's stupid," Chankyung grumbled into Seojun's shoulder. She knew that she didn't have to be specific about the reason why, he'd agree either way, and then rant about why he knew the cold boy to be so stupid.

"As always babe your intelligence is outstanding," Seojun told her, bringing her closer to his side. "You know you can always break up with him if he pisses you off too much."

"Do you want to fight here and now?" Suho asked him. He then turned to Chankyung and looked at her pleadingly. "Please don't break up with me. At least tell me why you think I'm stupid?"

"That stunt from this morning? Are you trying to tell the whole school we're dating?" She asked him, looking annoyed. Her eyes went over to the lit fire pit on the school roof and frowned. "Isn't that more of a hazard than anything?"

Suho moved over so he was in front of her. Thankfully, everyone was busy actually lunch or off somewhere else to pass the time until they had to return to class. Chankyung knew Sooah and Soojin would easily cover for her with Taehoon, his friends and Jugyeong as it wasn't a secret that they openly supported her dating the two IT boys. She was just afraid to tell them about the fact Jugyeong had all but confessed her feelings to Suho during the camping trip and now she wasn't sure how to act around their new friend anymore.

"Must we hide around like we're doing something illegal? I haven't even taken you on an official first date yet remember?" Suho asked her. "At least we all need to go on one to figure out how this is going to work between us."

"Must you make it sound so official and boring? Can't we just go with the flow of it and figure it out in the moment?" Seojun asked, leaning his head on Chankyung's.

He was more inclined to keep it all a secret since even before all of this Chankyung and Suho were dragged into a situation because of him where they could have been hurt. As much as he would have liked to openly date just Chankyung he now had Suho to consider so, sadly, he couldn't be as selfish as he would like to be.

"Of course you just want to wing it. Did you even have any idea how a three way relationship works?" Suho asked him, thinking he was an idiot.

Seojun scoffed and gestured to Chankyung who was now sitting up against the wall.

"My one and only girlfriend. You tell me if you think I know how this type of relationship works."

"Weren't you surrounded by girls all the time back in middle school?"

"You two are so exhausting at times. Dealing with Sooah and her cheesy relationship isn't so exhausting," Chankyung said, before standing up.

Did she really put herself in this position or was this one long, strange dream? Who could really tell anymore?

Class time
Mr. Han's Class

"You know I'll be counseling you guys for your college entrance starting from next week, right?" Mr. Han asked the class, who were all holding self examination papers.

Chankyung stared down at the paper in her hand and let out a sigh seeing the biggest box. Desired career. She still had no idea what she wanted to do with her life after school or even which college she wanted to go to.

The simplest choice would be probably to follow in her mom's footsteps and become a journalist as well. But so far from what she saw with her mom Chankyung couldn't imagine interviewing people all day, taking notes, fighting it out with the less than cooperative, and writing articles all day.

Buzz

Buzz

Chankyung glanced over at her phone inside her desk which was lit up with new notifications. She glanced up at Mr. Han to make sure he wasn't paying attention, then slid her phone out, and hide behind her paper. It was a text from Suho and Seojun in their group chat. Her mouth twitched up into a smile seeing the same text message.

Date?

➽──────────────❥

"Look at you two being so eager to get out of school and go on a date," Chankyung said, a teasing grin on her face. She felt she had to do something to break the tense atmosphere surrounding them.

Seojun and Suho glanced over at the other, looking away with disdain, before shifting in their seat. The cups of coffee in front of them going untouched as both were unwilling to be normal around the other. Chankyung's hand twitched, the urge to shake them and be their normal selves was strong, but she resisted and tried to calm down.

"We're safe here right? No parasocial fan girls? No guys looking to settle a score or whatever the tough guys say?" Chankyung asked, briefly looking around the mall they were in.

"This place is an hour away from school. No one is coming here," Suho told her, looking at her reassuringly.

Seojun smirked at her, leaning forward and poking her nose. "You're cute when you worry, babe. I'll protect you from all the nasty school girls you're worried about," He told her, sitting back in his seat.

A part of Suho wanted to bring up how during the night Chankyung got held hostage he was the one fighting more guys while Seojun was acting like a thug. He drowned that part of him out by drinking his Americano. Seojun seemed to know Suho was holding back an insult directed at him, glared at the stoic boy, and then jugged down his coffee to not start another fight in front of Chankyung. Said black haired girl let out a sigh and wondered for how long it was going to be like for the three of them.

Chankyung was beginning to question if Suho was trying to make her want to choke him for being stupid or be a tomato for the rest of her life. She shyly turned her head away, pretending to be staring out the window, Seojun rolled his eyes at Suho's childlike behavior, and all while Suho kept repeating that the three were together and wanted couple set menus.

"Suho, I think she got the memo. Stop sounding like a parrot already," Seojun told him, feeling more embarrassed now than when he danced in his underwear in front of the three girls. "Can you please just ignore him and let us look at the menu?"

"It's already bad enough we asked to be put in the corner. At least let's make sure people get the wrong idea about us," Suho told him, ignoring the server who looked more and more uncomfortable by the second.

Chankyung handed the single menu's over to the server, hoping that she wouldn't spit in their drinks for this, and put her hand in her hands while Seojun and Suho bickered across from her. She looked up and frowned at the two while the server quickly walked away.

"How is it that the both of you said you wanted to date me but you act more like a couple and I'm the third wheel friend just getting free food?" She asked them.

Seojun and Suho glared at each other once more before turning to her. They moved their seats further away from the other before turning their gazes to Chankyung. She knew that it wasn't really their faults for how all of this was working out, what did she really expect from two ex friends who couldn't stand being around the other without fighting, it was obvious that one on one they got along better with just her, and now this was the result of it all.

"Can you not joke around like that?" Seojun asked her. "Just the thought of treating Suho in any similar to how I treat you makes me want to gag."

Suho let out a scoff, adding in an eye roll but didn't say anything out loud. He knew that he should at least attempt to get along with Seojun since it was clear that there was no way they could avoid the other. Not so long as Chankyung continued to want to date the both of them and neither one of them wanted to break up the relationship they created.

Seojun glared at him before looking away, swallowing an insult down, and put on his best polite face. It was just an hour and a half. That was all the time he had to spend with Suho before they could part ways.

"Well now that we got that figured out, can we just enjoy our meal, and the day for what it is?" Chankyung asked. She looked to her side when two servers came to drop off their utensils and food.

The three teens thanked the servers not noticing the glaring, one thing missing. It was only after the two servers left that the teens noticed that there was only two sets of utensils given to them. Both boys instantly slid the utensils to Chankyung but then realized that would mean they would have to share a fork and instantly reeled their hands back as if they had gotten burned. Chankyung looked back and forth between the two sets of forks and knives, then back up at the boys, and then down at the utensils again as an idea came to mind. She cut the two of them a piece of meat, putting each piece of meat on the forks, and then held out the forks to the two boys.

"Here. Prepared with love," She said, a grin on her face. She was both serious and just joking around with the two of them.

Seojun, although a bit embarrassed, was more flustered by the small action and how bright Chankyung looked when she smiled. He let out a sigh, leaned forward, and ate the fork of food. It was easier to accept one's fate when it was from the first love of your life.

Suho felt his ears burn when Chankyung first pulled the stunt and then only grow hotter when she teased the both of him. Did she really have no idea how crazy she drove him on a daily basis? How was he supposed to remain calm when she purposely acted cute to get her way? There was hardly anything he wouldn't do for her already so she didn't have to beg. He also ate off the extended fork, quickly pulling back, and looked away to hide his pink face.

Chankyung blinked, repeatedly, as she was stunned that the two actually listened to her and went through with it. Seojun she could admit, she knew he would listen to her, as he always had, but Suho? Chankyung dropped the forks, growing red in the face, and pretended to look around the table for something to do so she wouldn't meet their eyes and become even more of a tomato.

The moment of peace was ruined by the sight of Jugyeong with one of the boys from their class. Chankyung stiffened upon seeing her and immediately went under the table. She covered herself with the cloth, pulling her legs in, and pulling her phone out to text the boys about who she just saw and that she would come out once Jugyeong was gone. She could imagine Seojun's face of displeasure, glaring at Suho as he thought that all of this was Suho's fault, and Suho's irritated face of having his day interrupted by Jugyeong.

"Suho, hello! I just saw you from the door and- Seojun? Why are you here?" Jugyeong asked, sounding like she was a breath away.

Chankyung cursed under her breath. She glanced down seeing Jugyeong's brown boots shuffling on the spot as she was uncomfortable with the surprise appearance of Seojun.

"I lost a bet. No I won't explain it anymore than that," Seojun calmly replied. "Can you go? It's already bad enough I have to eat with Suho alone much less around someone we both know."

"Wha... Why are there three plates? Were you eating with someone else?" Jugyeong asked, walking over to where Chankyung had been sitting.

"We're both growing boys, Jugyeong. Growing boys need to eat a lot," Seojun answered her.

Chankyung felt her phone buzz. She pulled it out and saw that it was from Suho texting her.

My Suho ❤️💞

I think your friend has a sixth sense for ruining our moments

She keeps looking over at me

I feel like I'm being studied by a lab researcher

As soon as Seojun can get her to leave than so do we

Do you have plans to keep to?

Not really

I just wanted to watch a movie. Maybe get something for my room

I didn't know what we were doing past eating

"Seojun, let's go," Suho suddenly said, standing up. "Get everything to go and then meet me outside."

"Hey! Am I your errand boy now or something?!" Seojun called out to him.

Chankyung picked at her ripped, see through, tights and pulled up her legs in case Jugyeong had eagle eyes and spotted her black chunky heel boots somehow. If Suho or Seojun ever suggested to go on a three way date again it would have to be somewhere even further away from their school or in one of their houses when nobody was home. Chankyung let out a sigh, leaning her head back, and wondered what exactly lead her to this moment because she swore that she didn't do anything to deserve this.

She watched as Jugyeong's shoes quickly walk away to follow after Suho who just left the restaurant. Chankyung waited for the all clear signal from Seojun to come out but was pleasantly surprised to see him lean down, pulled the cloth up and over his head, and looked as annoyed as she predicted.

"Have I ever mentioned that I hate Suho's fan girls?" He asked her.

She stifled a laugh at his obvious question. Did he even need to verbally say it for it to be true at this point?

"I think your eye rolls say more than your mouth ever could."

"Hey, you love this mouth."

"Can I stop hiding or is she still nearby?" She asked, pretending not to hear him.

Seojun looked over his shoulder, scanning the are for any signs of the new girl, looked back at his secret girlfriend and nodded.

"Yeah. You can stop hiding now."
