The 5 of us just left school and were on our way to Thoma's house for practice. "Finally school is over. That biology exam ate me.", Itto said. "Should have studied more." Thoma said and chuckled. "It's not my fault if it was that hard!", Itto said. "It's also (Y/N)'s fault! When she came over to my house, she didn't even help me that much.", Itto said and crossed his arms.

"Excuse you? You were the one who said 'Screw biology. Doesn't matter if I fail'!", I said and chuckled. "See? It's all your fault.", Yoimiya said. "I didn't say that!", Itto said and looked at me. "You did.", I replied and looked at him with raised eyebrows. "Tsk.", Itto said before turing away from me. I chuckled.

After about 10 minutes we arrived at Thoma's house. Ayaka said she has something important to talk about. I was curious to what that would be. We all entered and sat down on the floor.

"Okay! So, what I wanted to tell you is that I signed us up for a concert in the culture festival!", Ayaka said and smiled. "What?!", I said. Kinda wasn't prepared to stand on stage so soon.

"Is there a problem with that?", Ayaka asked and chuckled once she saw my expression. "Isn't it too early for a concert? Yoimiya and I are in the band since only a month."

"I'm sure it'll work out.", Thoma said. "Who says yes to the concert?", Yoimiya asked. Everyone except me raised their hand. "You're not okay with it?", Itto asked. "No, that's not it. I'm fine with it but I thought it's a bit early. Oh well, whatever.", I said and shook my head.

"A concert it is!", Yoimiya said and clapped her hands together. "But if we wanna nail that, we should practice now.", Thoma said and chuckled. We got up and got our instruments ready.

"What song should we start with?", Itto asked and spun one of his drumsticks between his fingers. Seeing him somehow just brought a smile to my face. Thoma suggested a song to play.

(A/N: Okay y'all, important message rq! I'm not a songwriter at all. I literally can't even come up with a song name, even less an entire song. So I'll leave that up to you. Whenever I really really can't come up with anything, I'll just write down ((Song Name)) or ((Song Lyrics)). But I'll try a bit to come up with something. Hope you understand that!)

After practice

We just finished practice. I put my guitar into my case and then walked over to Ayaka. "Are you free now? I have to go buy something but I don't want to ho alone.", I asked. I needed to buy new guitar strings. "No, I'm sorry. I have stuff to do at home.", she said and gave me a little frown. "Oh, it's okay. Don't worry!", I said and smiled. I looked around the room. Thoma? Nah, he's already at home here so I wouldn't drag him out to accompany me.

Yoimiya? Nope, in the morning she told me she's pretty busy today. Itto? Maybe. I was about to open my mouth and ask him, but he was quicker. "I-I could accompany you.", he said. "Really?", I asked and smiled. He nodded and smiled. "Of course!", Itto replied. "Alright! That settles it."

I put on my jacket, put on my bag and grabbed my guitar case. Itto grabbed his stuff too and then walked over to me. Yoimiya and Ayaka were still packing their stuff and getting ready. "Shall we go?", I asked and looked at Itto. "Mhm." Itto nodded. "We're off! See you tommorrow!", I said and waved them goodbye. "See you!", Itto said. The other three said goodbye too. Itto and I walked out of the house.

"Where are we going again?", Itto asked and looked at me. "Music shop. I need guitar strings.", I said. "Oh, yea right.", Itto said and chuckled. "But why? Your strings weren't broken.", Itto said. "You're supposed to change them once in a while. Even if they aren't broken.", I said. "Makes sense.", Itto said and shrugged.

We walked to the train station and waited for the train. "Are you enjoying your time in the band so far?", Itto asked with a smile. "Mhm! Very much! I'm glad you guys invited me and Yoimiya.", I replied. "I'm also enjoying it with you. I'm glad that Thoma had the idea to invite you.", Itto said.

I had a kind of weird feeling in my stomach when I looked at Itto. I couldn't really describe what I was feeling, but it wasn't something bad. I just smiled at Itto's words, not really knowing what to reply with. I looked away, kind of embarrassed to look Itto in the eyes.

After a few minutes our train arrived. We both entered. I sat down on the window seat and Itto on the seat next to me. Itto had his hand placed next to him. I didn't see that and put my hand there too. Exactly over his. I felt my face get a bit warmer the second our hands made contact. "S-Sorry, didn't see your hand.", I said and moved mine away again.

I looked at Itto and saw that his cheeks were decorated with a small blush. "It's okay, don't worry.", he said and smiled. I smiled too and then looked out the window.
'Why am I feeling like this..? The look on his face.. He looked kinda...'  I cleared my throat and slightly shook my head to get rid of those thoughts.

"You okay?", Itto asked with a smile. Oops, seems like that was kinda obvious. "Yeah, I'm fine.", I said and chuckled. Good that the train ride wasn't really long. After about 6 minutes, we already arrived. Itto got out before me. He extended his hand to me to assist me get out. I was kind of surprised but then smiled. I grabbed his hand and then stepped out of the train.

"Your gentleman side is back.", I said and chuckled. Itto chuckled too. "Well, I am a true gentleman, you have to admit.", Itto said and shrugged. "Not always." I looked at him with raised eyebrows. "Ohoh! Ya better watch your mouth.", he said. "Or I'll give you something back just as foul." Itto crossed his arms. "Huh? That wasn't even an insult, dummy.", I said. "I don't care.", was the only thing he replied with. I chuckled and shook my head.

We were in the city now and walked to the music store. "Y'know, Ayaka told me you're a pretty good singer.", I said and looked at Itto. "What?", Itto said. I chuckled. "Yeah. She told me you sung a song and it sounded pretty good. Didn't know you had that in you. Why didn't you tell me? Maybe we could sing a duet sometime?", I said and smiled.

"I-It wasn't that good..", Itto said and rubbed the back of his head. "I don't believe you. I want to hear it. How about now?", I said and looked at Itto with an exited expression. "N-Now? No, there's way to many people!", he said. "Awh. Promise you'll sing it for me?", I said. Itto sighed and looked at me. "Okay okay, I promise." I smiled. "Perfect! Just that you know, I was serious about the duet thing."

Itto smiled. ".. I wouldn't be against that idea.", he said. The smile didn't leave my face.

We arrived at the music store, the bell above the door jingled as we entered. We were greeted by the familiar sight of instruments and equipment lining the walls. As we stepped inside, the air filled with the faint scent of polished wood and fresh materials. Itto followed me as I made my way to the section for guitar accessories.

"Alright, let's find those strings," I said, scanning the shelves until I found the ones I needed. Grabbing a pack, I turned to Itto, who was browsing through a display of drumsticks.

"Got them." I asked, holding up the strings. Itto nodded, his attention still fixed on the drumsticks. "Oh? Wanna buy something too?", I asked and looked at the variety of drumsticks. "Yeah, just checking out some new sticks," he replied, selecting a pair and grabbing them.

"Oh, if we're already here, I'm gonna go check out some picks.", I said and walked to the corner with the picks, Itto following close behind me. I looked around the big variety of picks and then stumbled across one that got my interested.

"Check out this one! Those have been a trend in the internet recently. They light up when making contact with something!", I said and smiled. "That's cool! You should get that one.", Itto said and smiled too. "I will!"

As we made our way to the counter to pay, I couldn't help but feel grateful for his company. It was strange but comforting, as if we had known each other for much longer. As we waited, Itto was absentmindedly tapping a rhythm on the counter, showcasing his rhythmic instincts.

I paid my stuff and Itto paid his new sticks after me. The bell above the door jingled again as we left the store. The sun dipped below the horizon, casting a golden hue over the city. I smiled when I saw the afterglow from the sunset on the sky.

"I'm kinda thirsty.", Itto said. "Wanna grab something to drink?", I asked and looked at him with a smile. "Sounds good to me.", Itto replied and smiled. We walked to a nearby café and entered. We were greeted with the sound of people chatting and the smell of coffee and fresh pastries.

We sat down at a table in a more quiet corner of the café. I put down my guitar case and then looked at the menu.

After a few minutes, a waitress came to our table. "May I take your order?", she asked with a smile. "I'll take an iced coffee, please.", I said. She nodded. I looked at Itto, who still had his eyes on the menu card. He then looked up at me and then at the waitress. "I'll just take the same.", he said. "Okay, perfect. Your drinks will be here shortly."

"Copying me, huh?", I said and looked at Itto with raised eyebrows. "It's only a drink.", he replied. I just chuckled and shook my head. I looked outside the window a bit but then back at Itto. I caught him looking at me. "Have you guys ever preformed live already?", I asked. "Only once but it was nothing special. At school.", he said.

"I'm kinda nervous about playing in front of a bigger audience.", I said and chuckled. "It'll go fine, I'm sure.", Itto said. "Besides, your vocals and guitar skills are really good so there's nothing to be nervous of. You'll nail it." Itto flashed me a grin to which I smiled too.

The waitress came back with our drinks. "There you go. Enjoy.", she said. We thanked her before she walked away. We both took a few sips. "Hm. You actually have taste.", Itto said and looked at me with raised eyebrows. "I know.", I said and shrugged. We both laughed a bit. We spent our time chatting about various stuff and after about 40 minutes, we decided to go.

We called the waitress again to pay the bill. "I'll pay.", Itto and I said at the exact same time. I chuckled. "No, it's okay. I'll pay. I'm grateful enough that you actually tagged along. This is the least I can do for you.", I said and smiled. "A-Are you sure?", Itto asked. The waitress smiled at us. I nodded.

I took the money and handed it to the waitress. "Thank you. Have a wonderful day.", she said and then walked away. "Thanks.", Itto said and smiled at me. "You're welcome."
I stood up from the chair and put on my jacket. I grabbed my bag and put it over my shoulder. I then grabbed my guitar case and waited for Itto to be ready too.

Together we walked out of the café. "Should I carry your guitar case?", Itto asked with a smile. "No, it's okay. It's not that heavy.", I replied. "I don't care. Give it here." Itto then just took my case out of my hand and carried it for me. "Gentleman.", I said quietly and chuckled. "Thanks.", I said. "Anytime." Itto winked at me.

We walked to the train station together and waited for the train. After a few minutes, it arrived. I sat down on the window seat again and Itto next to me. This time, I made sure to not touch his hand.

"Thanks for accompanying me. It was pretty fun.", I said and smiled. "I had fun too. Bet it wouldn't have been this much fun if the person you went with would've been Ayaka or Yoimiya.", Itto said and shrugged. "Oh? Claiming to be the better one, now?", I asked and looked at Itto with raised eyebrows. "I mean, it's true.", he replied in a more quiet tone. I just rolled my eyes and chuckled.

It was pretty quiet in the train. The train moving on the tracks created a soothing background noise. It was a comfortable silence. As we arrived at our stop, we stood up from the seats. As we stepped off the train, Itto once again extended his hand to help me down. I accepted with a smile, realizing that these small gestures were becoming a sweet routine between us.

We chatted about a lot of different things as we walked home. Didn't even realize that we were already at the road where we have to split ways. Itto handed me back my guitar case. "Should I walk you home?", Itto asked with a smile on his face. "Nah, it's okay. Don't want you wasting anymore time. You're free to go.", I said and smiled too. "Okay, if that's what you want.", Itto said.

"See you tommorrow?" "You can count on that!", Itto said. He sure knows how to get someone smiling. "Stay safe.", I said. "You too." I turned around and started walking again.

I looked ahead on the road and smiled.
