"Do I really need to this Professor?" I said looking at Professor McGonagall pleadingly. "The term just started and it won't be fair to throw your children into another war. Trust me, I know how that feels."

"But Jackson, if the students know what they are facing," Professor McGonagall started, "they will be able to learn. Not to mention that the Ravenclaw students or Miss Granger can help you figure out the prophecy."

"We can get the Mess handled as Nico is coming here. Introduce us both as transfer students." I replied. "Besides I have second thoughts about involving the golden trio. Ron and Harry looked ready to cry after they heard the prophecy."

Prof. McGonagall sighed dejectedly. "Have it your way, I will explain about the exchange program during the feast." I nodded and headed back to the common room.

As soon as I entered the common room, my vision got obscured by a very large red colour thingy. "Percy", my mom breathed. "You're alright, I heard about the prophecy."

I sushed her. "Mom! There are other people here, we can't risk them knowing about us." I said in a rushed tone. "Who told you about it anyways?" Mom made a face. Just the Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny came beside mom.

"Your blonde friend from that first IM." Ron said. "She looked scary." I smiled. No wonder. Annabeth told them. "So Percy, what did Professor McGonagall tell you?"

"I refused actually." I said. "I don't want the school to know just yet." Ginny groaned. "You are too worried for nothing Perce," she said. "Besides," Ginny smirked and put her arm around Harry's neck. "If you two are together, anything is possible.".   "Merlin! I am quoting Fred and George." She muttered under her breath. I didn't think she want anyone to hear that.

Harry flushed dramatically and became red. Mom laughed and ruffled his hair. "You guys remind me of Perce and Annabeth." She said. If possible, he became more red, as bright as the colour of the Weasley's hair. Suddenly, Professor McGonagall's voice boomed out of nowhere making Hermione and Ginny squeal. Harry and jumped ten feet in the air and Ron should, "BLOODY HELL!!" Me and mom just looked at each other, confused. Seeing how many times I have been 'almost'  blasted out of the sky by Zeus made us immune to jump-scares. It also made me lucky as I could watch Horror Movies all night and still not get scared. Don't tell Mom. She'll freak. Dam ADHD. Got me off track.

"Students and Teachers are expected to come to the Great Hall as there is going to be a very important announcement right now? The feast will begin after that. If you shall me late, we will not wait for you." Professor McGonagall paused. "And don't come to my office asking me how I did this because I am going to reply with, 'Magic duh!' "

I groaned. "I asked her not to tell the students about us. Nor did I want to tell them I am a demigod."

 °°°°••••°°°°

We were walking down to the Great Hall when I saw it. Or rather say heard it. It was a sort of low, distance rumbling. The one you hear before a thunderstorm. The one which made the strongest of kids cry and go hug their mommy's. I turned to look at the others if they noticed anything. Judging by the way they were still talking and laughing, my guess was a no. But when I looked at Hermione, I knew she heard it too. We caught each other's eye and she motioned me to look front.

A large tuft of cloud like thing was coming this way. "DUCK!" Hermione and I yelled in unison. Me, her, Harry, Ginny and Ron ducked just in time. However, Mom wasn't that lucky. As the thing passed through her, her eyes became glassy and her expression became pained. Before she could hit the ground, I caught her and swung her arm around my shoulder.

Ginny and Hermione had identical looks off horror on their faces. I swept my mom off her feet, put my arms under her legs and carried  her to the hospital wing. Surprisingly, the entire hallway to the hospital wing was empty. Not one single soul. Sorry I am sounding like Nico, who was coming a few minutes/hours later. Honestly , I didn't know.

After putting my mom on the bed, I started a long journey back to the Great Hall. I wasn't actually seeing where I was going. While I had already sent the trio and Ginny to the Great Hall, my thoughts kept drifting to mom. Will she be okay? How long will she be out? What was that cloud type of thing? How long before Nico comes? Will Professor tell everyone abut demigods?

I was bought out from my reverie as I slammed into a small body. "oof!" a very familiar voice said.

"Nico!" I exclaimed. "Good to see you to Perce." he groaned, rubbing his arm. "The Great Hall is right here? Where in the holy name  of Hades are you going?"

"Sorry, I wasn't concentrating. Was thinking something else." I said. "Anyways, it looks like we'll be going in together."

"... exchange students. Please  welcome them warmly." A soft applause was heard from inside. Me and Nico snuck one last glance at each other and walked inside. I gave him a small pat on the back , walked over to the Gryffindor table and slid beside Harry.

"Is Aunt Sally okay? Will she be fine?" Harry asked clearly agitated. I shrugged. "I don't know Harry. I have no clue." He gave me a sad smile and turned front to where Nico was sitting under the hat, a red tinge on his very pale face.

Despite everything, I smiled. Nico would always be the same. No matter what. No matter how big he grew. He would always hate the attention. Harry tapped me on the shoulder and pointed.

The same large cloud could be seen above Malfoy, who looked very oblivious to that fact. Just as the cloud dropped, just like it had for mom, the sorting hat opened its mouth to say the house Nico would be in.
