The sunlight beaming through Mayve's window woke her up .

She shuffled up against her bed frame rubbing her eyes and then her head which was spinning .

A smile crept over her lips realising what had happened between her and Jacob so she removed her hands from her eyes and looked over beside her .

But there was no one there .

Jacob was no where to be seen . She looked around confused checking her phone which had no messages before getting up and looking around realised he had left .

She hoped that he had just had something really important, had to leave fast and forgot to message but of course he mind went elsewhere .

She fell onto her couch stunned and feeling used . 'Is that all he wanted' she thought to herself shaking her head at how stupid she could be .

She went back to her room and got on her phone and FaceTimed 'the grils 🥹🌟🌶️🍆🥂' groupchat and Addison and Sabrina picked up almost immediately.

"Hey!" Addison sang before noticing the saddened look on her best friend's face . "Oh my gosh what happened?" Addison asked her

"Last night Jacob came back to my house and well.." she started . "We slept together and this morning I wake up and he's gone no message no nothing ." She continued .

"I just feel used like now that he's gotten what he wanted he's gone ." She finished up.

Sabrina spoke up . "Okay as pissed as I am I think you should message him first who knows maybe he had a reason to leave we shouldn't jump to conclusions ."

"Okay I'll message him it's just after everything Nick put me through.." she stopped

"No totally your feelings are so valid but just check first okay?" Addison said agreeing with Sabrina .

Mayve nodded . "Yeah okay I see now I'm probably overreacting ."

"No you aren't we get why you would think that way but Jacob doesn't seem like Nick so give him a message okay?" Mayve nodded and they all said goodbye ending the call .

She messaged Jacob 'hey is everything okay i saw u left' and no response but the message was read . She scoffed turning off her phone and trying to take her mind off that .

Mayve decided to go out to get herself some breakfast to cheer herself up .

As she walked down the path she felt herself loosen up more as she listened to the calming sounds that surrounded her .

Once she had made it to her local cafe she walked in and got herself a table sitting down by herself .

She brought 'The Midnight Library' the book that she was currently reading to keep her company and off her phone .

She quietly looked through the menu . "Mayve?" She heard a voice call and she quickly looked up to see a familiar face .

"Milo!" She exclaimed jumping up from her seat and walking over to hug him . "What are you doing here?" She asked him .

"I'm actually shooting around here and thought I'd come get something to eat ." He replied .

"Why don't you come sit with me?" Mayve smiled and he nodded making his way over to the table that she was sitting at .

The two began catching each other up on their lives what they had been up to and about how they were excited to start shooting for 'School Spirits' season 2 .

"Well it was great to see you ." Milo said as they made their way out of the cafe .

Mayve pulled Milo in for a hug "Yes we need to do it again sometime ." She laughed when all of a sudden the sound of clicks and flashes from the other side of the street .

"Okay I guess it's time to go ." Mayve said earning a chuckle from Milo as they said their final goodbyes and went their seperate ways .

A week had passed and still nothing . Mayve had messaged Jacob countless times and still no response although there were several read receipts .

For the last week Milo and Mayve had started hanging out again since Mayve was done shooting Euphoria and was less busy .

Milo Manheim had messaged Mayve asking her to hang out again today she replied enthusiastically getting ready .

The two decided to meet at a random Raising Canes for lunch in the middle of no where .

Mayve smiled as she saw Milo waiting outside her apartment dancing around in his car . The car ride was not too long and they spent the whole time laughing .

Once they arrived they found a secluded table and Milo went and ordered .

As Milo got the two their Raising canes combo he smiles at how she lit up . "You love your chicken ." Milo said laughing . "Something I remember from when we shot School Spirits ."

"You know me so well ." She said pressing her hand to her chest . He snapped a picture of her looking down at the box and they both laughed at how in love she looked .

He posted the photo to his instagram . "Oh my god the photo has only been up for a few minutes and it's already on every single news page ." She giggled .

"They're so quick with that shit ." Milo said biting into his food .

"Hey I was actually going to ask you something ." Mayve said putting down her food and wiping her hands .

"Shoot ." Milo said doing the same thing.

"I was wondering if you'd want to be my date to the Euphoria premiere next week but just as friends though ." She finished up .

"Of course I would ." He said excited .

Although there was always rumours that the two were dating they were always just best friends having similar experiences of getting into the industry at a similar age and getting along really well .

That of course didn't stop Milo's flirty personality from taking over .

They finalised all the details and worked out what he would wear and then headed home going their seperate ways once Milo had dropped Mayve off .

The week had passed , Chris and Jessica were over at Mayve's apartment helping her get ready for the premiere .

A designer had the dress delivered that morning which had been in the works for a few weeks now . It was a beautiful gown .

It had now been two weeks since Jacob had left Mayve's home and they haven't spoken since after Mayve's many attempts .

She was hoping tonight she didn't have to interact with it although since it had been a bit she thought she was over it and him .

As Mayve had invited Milo to come as her date tonight he was going to be at Mayve's apartment soon and they were going to head to the event together .

Chris walked back over to the chair that Mayve sat at . "How are you feeling?" Chris smiled at the girl as he was doing her hair . She looked up to him .

"Chris I've told you I'm fine ." She replied to the same question that he had asked her after finding out about how Jacob had left her .

She knew he was only doing it because he loved her but she believed that she was over it . "Okay I'm just checking Mayvie ." He said brushing through her hair .

"I love you Chris ." She said grabbing onto the hand he wasn't using on her hand . "I'm nervous to see him again like I know my feelings are just going to come rushing back ."

"I will stick by whatever you decide to do ." Chris started "And although I hate him for what he did I don't think he intended it to be this bad and you are always happy when you're with or speaking about him ." Chris finished up .

"I know Chris ." She nodded . "He makes me feel so..." She dragged on . "You know?" And Chris nodded understanding . "But he really hurt me ." She said remembering what had happened .

A knock was heard from the door and in came Milo . "Wow ." Milo said sitting down on the couch leaving Mayve smiling .

The time flew as Mayve soon after Milo arrived finished up getting ready and the two headed off for the premiere .
