Mayve sat on the couch watching Pretty Little Liars smiling to herself whilst scrolling through the comments of her recent post announcing her new single for the Barbie Movie .

Sabrina and Addison two of the girls best friends were supposed to be arriving any minute now to get ready to go out for a celebratory dinner .

Mayve met Sabrina as a teen both being in the industry around the same age and ever since they met they have been inseparable and each other's number one supporters throughout their careers .

Addison introduced herself to the girl in 2020 at a Los Angeles house party right before COVID hit and during it they were always FaceTiming each other and messaging which led them to become super close and during this time their trio was formed having the common interest in music .

The door was suddenly swung open and the two girls made their way into the apartment laughing about something .

"Thanks for knocking guys!" Mayve commented to the intruders pausing her show and turning off the TV .

"That's so fine" Sabrina commented setting her things down on the kitchen countertop before making her way to the bathroom .

Addison ran up and hugged the girl "I'm so happy for you everyone is going to die when they hear this song" she said bringing herself out of the hug smiling from cheek to cheek .

Mayve smiles with the girl "Stop I'm so excited and nervous at the same time so I can't wait to get some drinks into me tonight"

"Yes we should get ready now" a ding is heard from Mayves phone which she checks and immediatly hides it after seeing the name that the messages belonged to. "Please tell me that's not who I think it is May."

Sabrina makes her way out from the bathroom fixing her hair as she hears the conversation "This isn't about Nicholas is it?" She sighs stopping and disappointingly staring at her friend .

Mayve looks guiltily at her feet "I'm sorry okay? He was just congratulating me on my new single coming out"

Both girls look at each other before Addison puts her head in her hands "What happened to no contact?" Sabrina asks .

"He seems different this time around guys !" Just as she says this her phone is taken from her hands and the number is immediately blocked .

"That's what you said last time and the time before that" Sabrina sighs "When are you going to realise that you're too good for that boy"

The girl understands where the other two are coming from because Nicholas had definitely hurt her in the past having cheated on her many times out on the road .

He was the drummer in a band and everything would escalate on tours and at one point Mayve with the help of many of her friend had realised what he was doing wasn't right and called it quits . That of course didn't stop her from going back to him when he made up some whiney excuse .

"Come on let's get ready" she said remembering why she said no contact with him in the first place and brushing him off .
