There I sat up in the astronomy tower, the cupcake that Harry gave me was held in my hands. Classes ended hours ago, and I was supposed to be in my dorm right now. Which I wasn't.

A soft sigh escaped my lips, as I opened the box that contained the cupcake. It looked fairly normal. An average cupcake that Harry gave me as an apology gift. It seemed weird, but my cravings didn't think that. I hadn't ate much dinner in the Great Hall, nevertheless I wasn't hungry which I dearly regretted.

One bite won't hurt.

I carefully lifted the cupcake with my fingers, peeling off the wrapper of the cupcake. I wouldn't lie, it looked delicious, and I was craving for sweets.

My mouth slowly opening to take a bite, one big bite that my teeth would feel the soft cream on top of the cupcake.

Until it was taken away from me.

Crumbs fell on my hand as my head turned to see who took the cupcake from me.

Of course, it was Draco Malfoy.

"Eating a cupcake in midnight?" His voice rasped, examining the cupcake with his gray eyes. My lips turned into a frown, standing up to face him.

"Draco? I- What are you doing here?"

"I could ask you the same question."

I glared at him, my eyes averting to my cupcake.

"Give it here, Malfoy." I angrily said, putting out my hand to hold the cupcake. Seriously, couldn't I have a break from this dude?

He gave me a look, than looked back at the cupcake. Mischief formed in his eyes, as he drew the cupcake closer to him. The only thing I could think of is the scenario I didn't want to happen.

He abruptly took a large bite out of the cupcake, with crumbs falling onto the ground. I gasped loudly, staring wide-eyed at him, scoffing angrily. How dare he ate the cupcake I was planning to eat. I was pretty hungry as well, and I thought Harry's cupcake would fill my stomach up.

An angry feeling engulfed inside of me. That selfish ferret.

"What the merlins, Malfoy!" I said, dramatically raising my hands.

"I was going to eat that!"

"—Hm... this taste weird." He muttered, ignoring my complaints as he looked at the cupcake. I was beyond furious, and snatched the cupcake from his hands.

"Next time, keep your hands out of someone else's food!"

He raised an eyebrow amused, wiping off the crumbs on his hand.

"Sorry, couldn't help that cupcake looked fine as wine."

I glared once more, looking back at my half-eaten cupcake. Great. I wasn't going to eat this. I huffed, and turned to him.

"You just like eating peoples food, do you?"

"If it looks good, than perhaps." He shrugged.

I scoffed, muttering curses at him. A delusional idiot he was as a Slytherin.

The Great Hall was filled with chatters of students at each houses, chewing loudly or laughing. I walked to my seat next to Hermione at the Gryffindor table. Last night was the night I didn't get much rest since I stayed up very late. My eyes were fighting to keep awake during breakfast.

I grudgingly sat next to Hermione, and placed my arms lazily on the table.

"You look tired." She mentioned, taking a look at my expression.

I rolled my eyes at her, putting a pastry on my platter.

"Really? I haven't noticed." I took a bite of my bread and placed it back down on my plate. Back when I didn't know about Hogwarts, I would always go on top of my rooftop and sit and watch the view, preventing me from sleeping 8 hours a day. It didn't bother my health, but as I grew older I was a really tired person if I stayed up.

I made a short promise not to stay up late anymore.

In the corner of my eyes, I saw Ron walking towards our table talking with Seamus. It was rare that the both talked, seeing that they were not fond of each other.

"Since when did Ron talk with Seamus?" Hermione whispered towards me.

I shrugged, leaning my chin against my hand. They will usually fight in quidditch, and have different preferences for each other. It was quite annoying, yet now they are talking together.

He came towards us shortly sitting in front of us. He heavily sighed, looking at me.

"You look tired-"

"Yeah, I know." I said exhaustedly, rubbing my face with my hand. My headache was coming back to me. I was probably going to sleep in most of my class if I wasn't determined for the day to end.

"Why were you talking to Seamus?" Hermione said to Ron, leaning her body over the table.

"You never told me you and him were friends."

"We are not friends. We just happened to be partners for a potion project."

Me and Hermione shared a look.

They were going to be friends in no time if they were projects. I knew they had similarities they haven't shared to each other.

A figure rushed by our table, sitting next to Ron grudgingly with a platter in his hands.

Harry.

"You okay? You seemed like you saw a ghost?" Ron asked, chewing on his chicken. He looked wary.

"Yeah- yeah, I'm fine."

Me and Harry were on tense terms, and I wouldn't forgive him that easily. It was hard to forget our past, and I knew it'll take a long time to finally agree to be friends.

I ate more of my bread, ignoring their conversation they were having.

"Seamus? Thought you didn't like him-"

"I dont! We are just partners for a project." Ron clarified, scoffing as he turned back to his food. I knew he was probably annoyed by us making a fuss about him and Seamus partners for a project, which I wouldn't lie I would too.

"Okay.." Harry chuckled, turning back to his food. We all ate in silence, while people were chattering next to us.

"Oh— Y/N." Harry abruptly said, looking up at me.

I looked up to face him, my emotion uneasy. We hadn't really talked despite the cupcake he gave me, so it was still uneasy to face him directly. His eyebrows scrunched in confusion, like he was confused about something.

"How— how was the cupcake?"

That's when I remembered.

That ferret are it.

"Oh— um, well.. funny story actually.." I said, forcing a laugh.

"—Draco stole it, and ate it."

"Oh, that's g- wait. WHAT?" He stated loudly, his eyes widening.

I flinched slightly, and looked at him with confusion. I knew he'd be disappointed, but not this disappointed to the fact he was yelling.

"Is something wrong-"

"There he is!" A familiar voice exclaimed, making all of us turn our head to see who said that.

Draco Malfoy.

Except, he looked.. weird as he was pointing at Harry.

"The love of my life!"

What?

I gave him a look, which he seemed to ignore as he trudged towards Harry. Draco despised Harry so much, that he wanted to overthrow his popularity.

What the heck is going on?

"Huh?" Hermione muttered, looking at Harry.

I looked over at Harry as well, confused on why Draco was saying that to Harry like he was.. inlove. That couldn't be the case, right?

"The love of my life?- is he talking about you, Harry?" Ron asked, looking at him with confusion.

"Crap." He murmured, getting out of his seat. I looked between Harry, and the helpless Draco. My eyebrows scrunching in confusion.

I mean, it's a little funny seeing Draco like this.

"Harry!"

Harry ignored, as he ran out of the Great Hall to ignore Draco's sudden behavior.
