ARE YOU BORED YET โš˜ WALLOWS
"But I can't help from asking, Are you bored yet?"

"You challenged the new guy to a beef?" [name] bit onto the freshly heated corndog (Which is called 'American Dog' in japan) from nearby convenience store, the delicate flavored mozzarella still had the natural moist sticky texture that everyone adored. "Yeah, its been a while since I challenged someone myself." His eyes examined the crispy snack that they held with a stick, wondering if they even eat anything that contains proper nutrients.

"You need to eat something healthy in your life.." Miya's eyes twitched, seeing them take another bite out of the delicacy was quite irritatingโ€”not to mention that everytime they bump into eachother, theres always no situation where [name] doesn't appear with something in their mouth, or where they drag him to get something to feast on.

"Whats wrong with corndogs?" [name] with a tilted head, was clearly oblivious. "Nothing, its just that you never eat anything healthy." Miya snatched the remains of the corndog, which was a mere stick when he noticed they were about to toss it into the air as if the gods were going to catch if for them. Miya grumbled, they were such always such a handful that he became their personal babysitter.

Little does he know that he'd occasionally act reckless that [name] has to watch over him too.

"By the way, you have another ulterior motive right?"

Miya clapped his hands together, returning from the trashbin where he threw the waste in. "What do you mean?" With a rosed brow, [name] knew that they had a deep meaning towards his hostility towards the duo.

"You get angry when its just a small glimpse of them, so you must have a reason to why you're such an asshole." Miya grimaced at their choice of words, placing himself on a park bench. "I don't want to talk about it." He sneered, the memories he had always contained was not worth a story to tell, it was a burden to his existence and his goals.

[name] noticed the harsh tone of his words, before smiling softly as it was an attempt of reassurance. "Okay, if you don't want to tell me yet, thats completely fine."

His mouth set in a hard line, his gaze shifting everywhere but towards them. trying to find his voice, they felt reluctant, but the warm gaze that [name] directed towards him made him feel hope he shouldn't have.

"I use to have a friend. we were together since we were little, and he was the reason why I decided to even try skateboarding. we always did it together," The memory of his dear friend treating his injured knee crossed his mind, the pleasant memory suddenly being ripped to shreds, burnt, drownedโ€”he hated it.

"But then he left. they all left."

He wrapped his arms around himself, his body trembling at the sight of everyone abandoning him, just for something he didn't mean to have, potential. talent.

"Hey, do you think that i'll win?"

Miya sneaked a glance, clicking his tongue at [name], who had no specific emotion displayed on their visage. a blank stare was all he received. it felt like a stomp to his heart.

Was he being dramatic?

"Look, I must sound so stupid that you can't even say anything. am I that pitiful? Pleaseโ€”don't pity me!" He jolted up from the bench, gnashing his teeth as [name] stiffened, outstretching their handsโ€”but to Miya, those hands were a threat. they were there to bring him down to the dirty soil.

Miya rejecting their hand, was a surprising act that made [name] freeze, their mind in jumbles as they couldn't find the right words to comfort him. the tears that gathered in his eyes were visible, even if he tried to conceal them.

[name] wanted to cry with him, to feel his pain, they wanted to say that they were there for him. but shock had overwhelmed their body that it made them unable to move. the power one single smack could hold was not to be underestimated.

a raspy sigh came out of his lips, wiping away the tears that threatened to flow as he picked up his skateboard, whilst [name] attempted to grab onto his hoodie but failed miserably.

it was as if he was far away, not within their reach.

If they didn't go into their own world and reminisce about their past that was somehow similar to his, maybe they could've been able to hug him freely. maybe they wouldn't have hesitated.

Besides, they went through what he did too. so why weren't they able to embrace him? sympathize with him?

"Oh." They gazed down at the empty seat beside them, "Maybe its because hugging was something they used to do in attempt to manipulate me."

the pair of [c] eyes were like knives gliding down his back, the sharp texture of the tip was enough to cut him into bite sizes for a meal.

Their eyes didn't move away from his figure, it was almost as if they were speaking to him indirectly. Yet, Miya's gaze didn't move from the duo infront of him, as Reki shoves theโ€”seemingly improvedโ€”skateboard into his arms.

"Using that for the first time on your actual challenge? Power of friendship? How embarrassing." He tilts his head back, glancing at the [c]-nette that concealed themselves in the crowd with the corner of his eyes, their blurry figure brought him such a 'sickly' feeling it enraged him.

"I decided what to wager," He started. "If I win... you'll become..."

"My dog!" His index finger pointed directly at Reki, who stood in place, completely dumbfounded before bursting into an expression of panic. "Dog? And why are you pointing at me?" He shrieked, as Miya couldn't help but chuckle at the amusing panic he brought the teenager.

"Your precious friend is going to become a dog because of you." His lips formed upwards into an arrogant smirk, as [name] was a bit entertained at the fact Langa manage to look so calm. "In the unlikely event that I lose, i'll be a dog or a cat or whatever. How's that?"

He's certainly confident that he won't lose. [name]'s bit onto their nail, grazing their teeth against the hard texture of the nail.

"It's fine."

"Don't say it's fine!" Reki jumped on Langa, shaking him back and forth whilst clinging onto him. "Why are you replying without asking me?!" the redhead continued to yell frantically, as Langa ignored the silly scene his friend made.

Miya found the situation unpleasant and disgusting, wondering how they could manage to act so childish despite being in a rough circumstance. the scene felt like a pinch of salt that got in his eyes.

"That looks interesting." [name] turned towards the fruity voice who belonged to none other than Joe, his well built body was like a masterpiece made by the deities. This man was undeniably attractiveโ€”not to mention that the best part about him was obviously his sex appeal. though to a minor like [name], he simply looked like the neptune guy in spongebob. [name] found muscular women much more appealing than this guy.

"Hey, let's bet on which guy will win." Joe turned to Cherry Blossom, his brows wiggling as the pinkette didn't bother to turn his head, his admirers a few meters away as they were in awe at his elegant beauty. "It's not going to be a bet. You're thinking that Miya is going to win this one, as well, right?"

[name] couldn't help but inch closer to the famous pair, itching to join in the debate.

"What, we'e agreeing?"

"Though rather reluctantly."

"How boring."

"I think the bluenette will win," [name] stepped in, watching Miya and Langa give eachother determined glares. Joe and Cherry Blossom were surprised at their sudden appearance, but nonetheless Joe was quite amused.

"Ohh, you're the other rookie that beat shadow before that guy right?"

"I've seen you around Miya a lot, you two are friends I assume? So why didn't you take his side?" CB, who the narrator couldn't bother saying his full stage name, rose a brow in suspicion. "Miya is a dear friend of mine, but I can't deny that he would lose this match." [name]'s honest opinion was enough for them to be taken a back. although, saying something such as this was not easy in [name]'s part, but it was their job to be forthright.

"What makes you think that?"

"Miya has a small temper, he would get riled up easily just by remembering something unpleasant. When it comes to skill, miya is at an advantage. but when it comes to passion, Langa will take the win."

oh, Langa won.. just by a few inches.

[name] glanced at Miya, who had his head hung low in shame.

it was like last time.

"To think I would lose..." His mumbles were ringing in their ears, they could feel his negative energy that radiated. [name] took a few steps forward, approaching the boy they always adored.

"I can tell you the reason why you lost."

[name] went to a halt, their hands clasped together as they took note of the stare filled with hatred and envy that crossed his visage. a sword stabbing through their heart, it was similar to the pain they felt when they see Miya in misery.

"What?" His voice was laced in venom, humiliated that he had brought failureโ€”to you. to him. "Skating is something you have fun doing."

"Fun?"

"It was fun. It was really fun, indeed."

"In the beginning."

"But..."

The flashing of cameras were everywhere, as he was felt accomplishedโ€”acknowledged. everyone had noticed his potential, his talent. he felt happy, but this joy was nothing conpared to what was like when he skated with his friends.

He raised the trophy in his hands, a big smile that was mixing in pleasant emotions, their grin resembled a cute puppy.

Yet the gazes he received from the people he held close, seemed unpleasantโ€”angry even. it was like swords that pierced him until he was unable to move like he usually did.

"Everyone disappeared."

The trophy he held was now dull, the pearly shine no longer present as the golden hue was just paint that was polished and kept. the memories he held so dear kept inside the trophy he no longer needed as he discarded it.

"the better you become... they all disappear in the end anyway!"

Miya shrieked, the throbbing spot of his sore forehead turning into a shade of red, "Ow! What the hell are you doing?!"

"Are you a dumbass?"

"Huh?!"

"Not everyone's gonna be like that."

"Miya, that was fun. Let's skate again sometimes." The sincere smile that displayed on Langa's lips were heartwarming, as the tense atmosphere had vanished like dust that was carried by the breeze of the wind.

"We'll never disappear from your sight," [name] hummed, taking in his hands into theirs, giving the bump on their forehead a soft caress before pecking a quick kiss on itโ€”flustering the young boy as incoherent stutters left his lips, unable to process the current situation. he didn't know how to react, they did argue yesterday. although it seemed a bit one-sided.

"Hmph, whatever. You all are weak, you guys are no match for me." He averted his gaze, attempting to hide the vulnerable expression that appeared. afraid to expose such a weak side of him.

[name] snickered, finding the scene entertaining as the two were quick to start bickeringโ€”before Reki started to stretch his cheeks making quite frightening expressions as [name] became frantic, shouting at him to release their best friend.

The atmosphere was peaceful, as they had completely forgotten about their surroundings, the group seemed like a group of friends that were having their daily quarrels.

[name] didn't miss the chance to take a picture of the wide grin on Miya's face, laughing in amusement, they wished that he was like this everyday.

"Miya is so cute."

"Where did that come from?! Stay away you're so embarrassing!"
