~**Warning: The ending is a bit sad, but don't worry, it gets better, I promise :)**~
I walked downstairs to find Lydia, Alduin and Paarthurnax sitting at the dinner table eating.
"Hey, Lyds, you ready to leave?" I asked.
"Yeah, let's go." Lydia stood up from her wooden seat, and stretched and put on her armor, then was finally ready.
"Be back soon you two, behave!" I said, and put my hand on the doorknob/handle.
"Yeah, okay. Bye, Y/n, Lydia." Alduin said with his mouth full. I opened the door and went out, Lydia after me, and closed it.
~back at home~
"So, what do you want to do?" Alduin asked his brother, who looked up at him.
"Want to play with Meeko?" Paarthurnax asked with an adorable smile.
"Sure. Nothing else to- wait...remember all the mannequins upstairs?" Alduin had a smirk on his face.
"Oh no." Alduin rushed upstairs, came downstairs a couple minutes later, wearing the Dark Brotherhood armor.
"You're going to get in trouble!" Paarthy warned.
"What? Y/n isn't here yet. We can go through his stuff." Alduin said.
"I..g-guess..." Paarthurnax went upstairs and changed, then went downstairs.
"Wow, younger bro. You look...like an idiot." Paarthurnax was wearing a wedding suit that Y/n looted from a Dark Brotherhood quest, and wearing a flower wreath on his head.
"D-Don't say that! That's mean!"
"You're mean."
"No you are!"
"You!"
"Y/n told us to behave, I broke his rule!" Paarthurnax cried.
"So what? It's not like he'll know if we take care of the stuff." Alduin pointed out to the stressed little dragon human.
"But that means we'll have to lie!"
"Yeah? Won't be my first time."
"YOU LIED?!"
"Of course. Part of me~"
"Let's just take this all off." Paarthurnax went upstairs and changed into his normal attire, headed back downstairs.
"You're boring." Alduin said.
"No, I am a good person."
"Are you saying I'm not a good person?!" Alduin growled.
"Maybe." Paarthurnax was shoved to a wall.
"HOW DARE YOU!?"
"How dare I? How dare you! You're breaking Y/n's rule!"
"I DON'T GIVE A FRICK WHAT HE SAYS! I'M STRONGER THAN YOU AND HIM!"
"Please, brother, I don't want to fight.."
"UGH, fine, I'll spare you. This time." Alduin let his brother go.
"What time is it?" Paarthurnax asked hesitantly.
"9:00. Why?"
"They should be home by now."
"Y-you're right...What the heck? Are they alright?! IS Y/N OKAY!?" Alduin yelled.
"I DON'T KNOW! How about we stop yelling and find him, how about that!?" Paarthurnax yelled back.
"Good plan, for once." Alduin and Paarthurnax headed out, and found Odahviing.
"Hey, Odahviing! Have you seen Y/n?" Paarthurnax asked the red head.
"Oh, yeah! He went that way." Odahviing pointed to a trail.
"Thank you." The brothers started walking towards the trail, when the finished the trail, they saw Durnehviir.
"Durn! Have you seen Y/n?" Alduin asked.
"Yeah, went that way. He seemed hurt." Durnehviir's accent was heard clearly.
"Oh no, thank you." Alduin said and ran with his brother in the direction given. There, was a bloodied, bruised, and crying Y/n.
"Y/n!" Alduin and Paarthy ran over.
I felt dizzy, and saw a black and white blob running towards me. I tried to sit up, but fell back and passed out.
"Shoot, Alduin, help me pick him up!" Alduin helped by lifting my feet, and carried me to my house. They cleared off the main room table, and set me down. They took off my shirt to check if I had any severe wounds. Luckily, I didn't.
Paarthurnax placed his hands on my chest, and a yellow-golden glow was lighting up the room. He was trying to heal me, but nothing was working.
"Try, brother!" He said to Alduin.
"I'm not good at it, but I'll try." Alduin placed his hands on my chest, and send a burst of healing towards me, but it didn't work.
"W-wait..." Alduin placed his ear on my chest, and sat up, his face pale, and a deer-in-the-headlights face was glued to him.
"W-what is it?"
"...He's dead." Alduin choked out. Paarthurnax shared the same expression.
"Dead?..." Paarthurnax cried silently, Alduin headed to his room. Paarthurnax stayed with me for a while. After an hour, Paarthurnax decided to check on Alduin. Instead of knocking, he just opened the door, revealing the back of the raven haired male. His back rose up sharply as he sobbed.
"Brother?" Paarthurnax sat next to his brother and hugged him.
"I will miss him too." Paarthurnax said, a tear leaving his eye. Alduin hugged his brother back, and sobbed.
"I-I..didn't..know this was..going to..be the last time...-"
"Shh....It's alright...We're going to miss him." Paarthurnax whispered. He comforted his brother until they fell asleep hugging each other, dried tears making their cheeks a little sticky, making their hair stick to them.

In the morning, Lydia ran to the brother's room, and barged in, waking the brothers.
"Y/n's awake!" She said. The brother's eyes started watering with joy as they ran out and saw me sitting on the table.
"Y/n! I-I thought y-you were-.. Your heart stopped...-" Alduin started rambling.
"Delphine poisoned her weapon to make it look like I was dead. The poison made it look like my heart stopped, when really it didn't. And also, took my soul..." I explained. Really, I didn't sound like I was internally dying from my soul being taken, but I was. Alduin jumped on the table and hugged me tightly. I hugged back, then followed by Paarthurnax.
"It's a miracle." He said.
"I know one thing about what happened." I said.
"What's that?" Paarthurnax asked.
"Akatosh was watching over me, and protecting me."
"That is true, dear Dovahkiin." A voice from what seemed like everywhere boomed. "I've seen how much Paarthurnax and Alduin seem to care for you, and you care for them, so, I will gift you your soul back. My thanks to you." Suddenly a yellow fiery streak plunged itself to my chest. I coughed and felt alive. I grinned.
"Thank you, Dragon Father." I said.
"No, really, thank you." Then the voice echoed away. The boys smiled and saw that I seemed way better.
"Alduin got into your clothing when you were gone." Paarthurnax admitted shyly. Alduin then growled.
"YOU DID TOO SO YOU BETTER NOT"
"Boys! Instead of arguing all day, how about a day of cuddling and chill?" I suggested. They cheered like children and cuddled into me.
"I'm glad you're not dead. I was not crying about it, though." Alduin said.
"Yes he was. I had to comfort him all night." Paarthurnax said. Alduin was going to argue back, but sighed and snuggled closer to me. I snuggled them back and smiled.
" I'm glad you two missed me."
