𝐅𝐞𝐚𝐫, an unpleasant emotion caused by the threat of danger, pain, or harm. This feeling was not anything new to me, I have experienced it many times in past.

Whether it was the fear of being left alone or the fear of being attacked while walking alone during the night or maybe the fear of losing a loved one, I knew all of them very well and after that accident, I thought I was finally aware of the fear of being killed and dying but now seeing three inhuman creatures together who can easily rip me to shreds, made me realize how wrong I actually was.

Before their penetrating gaze could fall on me, I quickly hid myself behind a wall and tried to calm my heart down which was beating at an incredible speed due to the sudden appearance of those fiends. Despite being a good few feet away from them I was still able to hear their conversation as there are no words such as quiet in Ayato and Subaru Sakamaki's vocabulary.

Both of them are so unnecessarily loud even while having a normal conversation, I am quite surprised that they have not been scouted yet for singing in opera, but then again who knows both of them might just be tone deaf. Peeking from behind the wall I tried to comprehend what exactly was going on.

"Tch its your fault why we got a detention" Ayato replied in an annoyed tone looking straight at Subaru with a scowl.

"Hah?!! My fault?!! It was because of you that we got into the mess. Who told you to give me an exploding can of coke ?! My whole uniform became sticky and drenched because of your stupid idea !!" Subaru shouted grabbing Ayato's collar, wishing that he can just choke him to death.

Clearly infuriated by this, Ayato too grabbed Subaru by his collar. "It was Laito's idea to prank you not mine and its not like you got hurt or something. It was just a harmless joke but your sorry ass couldn't take it and threw a whole damn table at us !!!"

Both the half brothers were glaring daggers at each other, not willing to back down from this staring competition. I could easily feel the thick tension between them which would most likely escalate to a serious fight if nobody steps in.

"Now now, as much as I would like to see you two kill each other, I don't think it is a good time. Reiji is probably waiting for us at the gate and knowing how he is, if we don't hurry up we will get much more than a scolding." Laito stepped between them trying to ease the tension which surprisingly worked as both of them stopped their intense staring at each other and looked away with an evident frown.

"Tch, that tableware-otaku always gets on my nerves. He should have just left us and gone home, its not like we are kids that don't know how to get home on their own"

"I don't know about others but you are certainly one. Don't you remember what you did last time we got a detention?! Because of you, I had to listen to his exasperating lecture for hours and even my knife was taken away" Subaru once again started glaring at the said red head.

I covered my mouth to hold back my laughter because of their stupid antics. If I didn't know any better, I would have mistaken them as normal highschool kids but no, behind this childish attitude lies something much more dangerous which would certainly kill you if you don't proceed with caution.

Ayato was about to retort back but was stopped by Laito who didn't want to go through Reiji's punishment all again after he failed to stop them the last time they fought. "If you both are so eager to fight then do it at home. I don't want to be responsible for your dispute and be forc-....." Laito stopped talking suddenly and looked straight at my direction.

I quickly looked away while tightening the hold on my mouth as to not let out any sound. I couldn't move my body in the fear of making any noise which they would most likely hear because of their heightened senses.

'Please don't come here, please don't come here' Those were the only thoughts running in my mind as my body started shivering cold and the familiar feeling which I experienced in the cafeteria started crawling in once again, fear, fear of being killed.

"Oi why did you stop in the middle, complete your sentence" Ayato asked annoyed and confused by his brother's sudden mood change. "I think I just saw someone" Laito replied not moving his gaze from that certain place.

"Hah?!" Taken back by the fedora man's answer, Ayato moved his head following his brother's gaze but glowered heavily when he did not see anyone. "There is no one there !! Have you finally gone blind ?!! Go and wear Reiji's glasses you blind asshole !"

"Maybe its a teacher or a staff member, lets just go Reiji is waiting for us, he will kill us if we make him wait any more." Subaru stated impatiently and marched out of the entrance without waiting for the other two. Clicking his tongue Ayato too followed the white haired leaving Laito all alone who had not moved an inch from where he stood.

"Hmmm maybe its just a teacher" Staring for few more minutes, Laito let out a low chuckle and started making his way out where his brothers were waiting. Before fully stepping out, Laito once again looked back but this time instead of a blank expression, there was an amused look on his face.

Before moving out from my position, I once again peeked out to make sure that the coast was clear. Seeing no one in sight, I picked myself up while using the wall for support as my legs were still shaking from the earlier situation.

Laito is too sharp and cunning for my liking, if it weren't for the other two dismissing the situation, I would have surely been caught. Fortunately Ayato and Subaru were too dumb to notice anything strange or maybe they just wanted to hurry home but either way I am atleast safe for now.

Stopping towards the entrance, I glanced out to see if anyone was out there and that's when my eyes landed on them. Six figures with peculiar hair colours were crowded in front of a black limo with three of them engaged in an argument while the other three were minding their own business.

Seeing them I swiftly moved back and ducked down to hide myself from their sight. Although I only took a quick glance at those six people, I am completely sure that they are none other than the infamous Sakamaki brothers.

Peering out once again, I saw all of them heading inside the car one by one. I watched the car leave from the corner of my eye and only stood up when it was no longer in my sight. Sighing in relief, I walked towards the school gate slowly while I looked around frantically trying to spot the familiar vehicle from the evening.

My search came to a halt when I spotted the said vehicle along side which stood the same man who had picked me up in the evening. Hurrying towards the car door which had been already opened for me, I stepped inside and took a seat. I did not bother to greet the driver as I was out of energy and my mind was preoccupied due to all the incidents that took place today.

Not only did I had such close encounters with the brothers but also was questioned about my identity by my new teacher. The only good thing that happened today was that I made a new friend who I hope won't betray me in the near future.

But really my luck sucks a lot, to think that I saw all six of the brothers in one day with three in close proximity and three from far and on top of that all this happened on the first day, I wonder how my upcoming days will be. I was so tired of running and hiding the whole day that I had failed to notice one most important detail.
