A few months had passed since the whole ordeal. The doorbell to the Addam's family house rung, a group of kids eager for Halloween candy from the big house. The door creeks up, revealing Lurch. He smiles down at the kids, greeting them. They stare horrorstruck, screaming out before running from the scary house. Amber steps out, holding a large bowl of candy for them to choose from.
"Hey. Hey! Come back! He just wants to give you candy!!" She runs out after them, the kids that were walking up to the house takes notice of Lurch in the doorway, and suddenly some crazy lady yelling and running after them. They too scream in terror from their spots, turning and high tailing it out of there as quick as they could.
She sulks back to the house, Lurch holding an arm out for her before wrapping it around her as she gets closer.
"I just don't get it, Lurch? Why are kids just so sensitive now? I swear, it gets worse and worse every year...!" She exclaims, a hand on her forehead in feign despair as she drapes over the large male. Who was more than glad to have her in his arms. He growls out, a surprised giggle sounding from her as she turns red.
"Our child?" She smiles. The thought of having a family sounded nice and enticing.
"Here we come!" The Addam children call out. Amber reaches up, the two still embraced with her in his arms.
"I suppose one day.." She straightens herself, the two making their way for where the kids were making their way downstairs. Their costumes ready to be showcased.
"Pugsley, old man." His father exclaims ecstatically.
"Why look at you." They marvel over the kids' costumes, Pugsley dressed as Uncle Fester and Wednesday as, well..
"How do you like it?" Fester was speechless.
"What can I say? He's gonna break hearts." He speaks. Cousin It and Margaret show up, Amber greeting her mother warmly.
"Trick or treat."
"Hello, Margaret. Cousin It. I almost didn't recognize you." Morticia welcomes.
"Isn't he handsome? Everyone keeps asking where he bought his costume." Margaret says, prideful of her crafty work.
"It is a wonderful hat." Mr Addams compliments. Cousin It gives his thanks.
"What are you darling? Where's your costume?" She then questions Wednesday.
"This is my costume. I'm a homicidal maniac. They look just like everyone else." She answers. The adults agree, nodding to the costume idea. True. Very true.
They go about their night, enjoying the dark holiday and all it had to offer. Which meant spending time together. Amber stands by Lurch's side, an arm wrapped around him as a hand rested on his shoulder as she examined his work. Lurch was painting Fester with Pugsley to capture the moment. Wednesday caving a rather large pumpkin with her father.
"I'm so glad I can spend this night with my family, now that I got my memory back." Fester rejoices.
"Thank God for that lightning. Knocked some sense into ya." Grandma comments, nodding approvingly. Cousin It speaks, wondering what fully happened.
"You remember, old man. Dr Pinder-Schloss really did find Fester tangled in a tuna net 25 years ago, with amnesia." Gomez recants.
"From the Bermuda Triangle." Wednesday throws in. Cousin It nods.
"How true. Stranger things have happened." Morticia says, knitting in her place on the sofa.
"Please, Uncle Fester?" The small boy pleads, his extended out towards his uncle.
"Pugsley." His father eases.
"For the picture." He pushes innocently. His uncle taking the light bulb from his hand and placing it in his mouth, the bulb coming to life and lighting up before them. Amber claps, the rest nodding and smiling at the act as Gomez and Wednesday finish up their pumpkin.
"Alright, everybody, time for a game. What shall it be? Bobbing for apples?" Gomez sets the pumpkin up, turning to the rest.
"Charades?" Margaret's suggests.
"Hide and seek?" Amber gasps hopefully. Cousin It exclaims.
"Of course. Wake the dead." Morticia grows excited.
"Wake the dead!" Fester grows as giddy as a child.
"Wake the dead! Out to the cemetery! Come on, everyone!" Gomez hurries everyone, Lurch grabbing Amber's hand, leading her out after everyone.
"I've never played this game before. How does it go?" Her mother questions grandma.
"Did you bring a shovel?" She returns with." Amber turns to Lurch.
"Digging? Oh! Lurch, are we digging them up?" She jumps in her spot, the tall male smiling excitedly as he nods, her glee contagious.
"Uncle Fester, will you be on my team?" Pugsley asks.
"No, mine." Wednesday asks after her brother.
"I'll tell you what, we'll give you a head start- three skulls and a pelvis. How's that?" He leads the kids outside, Amber and Lurch walking out with the kids as the other adults hang back for a second.
"Wake the dead! Wake the dead!"
"Uncle Atlas, wake up." Wensday taps one of the statues.
"Come on, Aunt LaBorgia, wake up." Pugsley says this time. Their uncle teaches them the proper way of doing it, behind them Amber points with Lurch, starting on a grave next to the grandmother.
"This is so exciting, Lurch! Halloween really is the best time of year!" They continue digging, Mrs and Mr Addam having a moment as they watch over the growing family. Morticia is expecting.
Amber looked back at the kids as their uncle called them over, smiling wide at the joyous children. Lurch steps by her side, an arm over her shoulder.
"It's okay.. You had every right not to believe me.. What my father did was wrong, and he'll learn his lesson alone. He lost his wife and his daughter because of his actions.. He has no one to blame but himself." He had apologized, still upset for blaming her in the first place instead of just trusting her. He joked about him not being there for her wedding, or at least she thought it was a joke. Surprised as the tall male suddenly kneeled down before her with a ring in hand.
"Oh, Lurch! Are you-" He grabs her hand, proclaiming his love to her as he slips to ring over her finger. Her mother gasping at the sight as the others cheer.
"Yes! Yes, a thousand times yes! Oh! Lurch.. I love you." She throws herself onto him, her weight nothing as he stands up with her in her arms, spinning her around. They lean is, their lips connecting, a sight that guessed the kids to gag.
"We're supposed to be waking the dead! Not smooching! Come on, Pugsley! Help me wake up Uncle Clyde." They pull away, embracing as they watch the kids run off. They turn to each other, sharing one last kiss before returning to the grave of Aunt Bellatrix.

Pet Sematary sample read;
"This is definitely the place.. Why the hell would you guys bury a dog here, man?!" Jeff whipped around to face Clyde who questioned his poor decisions.
"Could you maybe not, remind me-" I groaned at the two.
"Guys! Not now.. Even if Clyde does have a point." I mumbled.
"What?! He's got nothing, are you forgetting the shit he's done?!" I ignored them, staring at the area in front of us, the two of them bickering still behind me.
"Who even brings a cat to school, dude? You were asking for shit!" Clyde threw at Jeff.
"It was my first day! I didn't think the town was gonna be filled with assholes like you!" Jeff defended.
"You're just a pansy! Needin' your.. Wait.. You two are twins, right? Who's older?" Clyde went to mock, suddenly stuck on a non important question.
"I'm older asshole, so try again!" Jeff yelled back victoriously. I could almost laugh at them, but all my senses stopped me from doing so. I stared, eyes wide, and body stiff at the burial grounds before me. Everything told me to leave the area as quickly as possible. My blood ran cold, my mouth went dry, palms were getting sweaty. The air felt so thick, it was getting hard to breathe.
"Aunna?"
"What's wrong?" I swallowed hard, as if something were caught in my throat. The feeling of dread, sadness and despair lingered heavily in the air. The cries and screams of the lives taken by this place seemed to cry out, echoing all around. The sounds of animals howling, growling and snarling all around us. I tried breathing in to calm myself, the air being too thick to do so. I turned to the other two, grabbing a container from the closest one by me, being Jeff. I turned on my heel, going for the stones that were laid and organized in its ominous pattern.
"Aunna? Seriously can we talk about this first?"
"Did you see something?"
"I didn't see anything." I opened the cap of the gas can, continuing to make my way.
"So what's wrong? Hey! Did you bury anyone else we should be aware of?" I could almost picture Clyde giving Jeff a look. Only picturing the look Jeff gave back.
"No, I did not bury anyone else!" I walked backwards, pouring the gas out on the ground in front of me.
"Aunna, seriously. What's wrong then?" I continued to trudge backwards around the outer circle, leaving a thick trail of the liquid.
"We're not welcomed here." I walked along the stones, turning left, turning right.
"Not welcomed here?" Jeff parroted dumbly. I nodded.
"Yeah, cause that doesn't sound fucking creepy.." I shot Clyde a look, his face falling rather quickly. I looked back down, making sure to cover every last bit of the pattern. Every stone, every inch. Making an outer circle around the overall layout.
"You guys can't feel it?" I asked, as if they should.
"If you mean the sudden eerie feeling of impending death, then yes. Yes, I do. Thanks."
Stranger Things sample read;
"Eddie. Come in, Eddie." Dustin calls over the walkie.
"Oh, thank God! I thought Wheeler left me hang-" Dustin closed his eyes, clenching his lips as he feared he'd have to put his buddy on the side.
"Look, Eddie, not the time right now, man- we're onto something. Hey, hey, good news, Max didn't see Erin with the others! Okay, so, I mean, maybe she is alive after all-" Eddie cried out over the line, relief filling his heart.
"What- What do you mean, others? Like, like, dead others? Chrissy?" Dustin shakes and nods his head simultaneously, knowing they'd be to the school soon.
"Yes, she's.. Chrissy, Fred.. they're both dead, man. Listen, I need you to focus, Eddie. Erin, when she went to the art room, where would she store them? Her artwork." Eddie stammers over the line.
"Like, like I would know that.." He scoffs lamely. The group in the car share a look, Robin taking the walkie from Dustin.
"So you don't know?" She tested. There was a pause.
"I-I-I didn't.. I didn't.. They're in the corner of the room, to the left.." They stared, Eddie feeling the weight of the silence.
"So, how do you know this exactly?" Robin teases over the walkie.
"Because I went by to see if she was done- to give her rides home! I wasn't being creepy!" Dustin takes the walkie from her hastily.
Umbrella Academy sample read;
She wasn't aware of them returning, not till a hand reached out gently, turning her head to face them. Axel's eyes softened as he stared down at her, his thumb reaching up and wiping a trail of tears away that streamed down her cheek.
"You guys are back?! Are the other two okay? They didn't-?" She worked herself up so much upon seeing him she begins to push herself up, him holding a hand out to stop her and instead sits at the edge of the bed beside her.
"Yes. They downstairs. Eating." She couldn't help but chuckle out at this, reaching up to wipe her face.
"Of course. Hardly a time I don't see you three eating." She jests lightly, a smile breaking out on his face as he nods. He stands after a moment from the bed.
"I be downsta-" He had gotten nowhere hardly in his torturing today, but he was still determined to get blood. To do that the boys would need a plan, something since they haven't been having the best of luck as of late.
"Kommer-!.. du att sitta med uh.. häst? Will you sit with uh.. horse?" She stops him abruptly, grabbing him by the wrist to stop him. He was stunned, by her touch but by her choppy but albeit Swedish, as well. May have gotten it a little wrong but, she was nearly perfect. A thought he couldn't agree with more. He closes his eyes, biting back a smile. She pulls her hand back suddenly, gasping in as she covers her mouth sheepishly.
"Ohhh- How badly did I mess that up?!" She panics as she rushes to pull the book out from under her pillow, flipping through the pages. He lets out a low chuckle as he stops her.
"It fine. You were very close. But you are young lady, not horse." She turns red, something he always found amusing as he straightens.
"But yes. I will sit with you. For as long as you would like." He rounds the bed, going to sit on the other side of the bed next to her. He falters, finding himself getting to comfortable before seeing her eager and pleased face, relaxing more as he pulls his legs up on the bed, propping his back against the wall, gazing at her as she watches with interest. He notices her eyes flicker, his own slowly lowering. It was blood, blood he still hadn't washed yet. No, he wanted to see her first.
"Are you sure you guys are really okay? Not hurt?" She worries, her eyes meeting his once more. He smiles softly as reassurance, giving a light nod.
"Not our blood. Enemies." She frowns, even so, she still worried.
"But why? Must you?" He cocks his head some to look at her more, inhaling as he internally seethes.
"Öga för öga. An eye for an eye." He says, in both languages, confusing her more. She look at him strangely.
