They sat at breakfast the next morning, Amber joining since starting her new job for the Addams family.

"Did you like the blood?" Pugsley asks his uncle.

"I was so proud." He grins.

"Weren't we all.. Wednesday, play with your food." Morticia speaks. The girl visiting nods from her seat.

"It was a spectacular idea! Mother couldn't stop talking about it all night!" The girl beams, the little boy happy and proud by the attention he was getting from the play.

Suddenly the grandmother yells out, garnering the attention from those at the table.

"Mama?" Morticia asks.

"Who put this in here? That's for company." The old woman holds up a skeleton arm bone, Fester and his nephew snickering at their little prank.

"Rascals.. Dr, you were so right! What an evening." Gomez chuckles. Greeting the Dr, Lurch had led into the room.

"Fester fit right in." Morticia speaks, Amber sending Lurch a friendly smile after noticing him looking.

"The displacement is over." He declares, glancing over to his brother who was stiff as a board as the Dr placed an arm over his shoulder.

"Well, isn't that nice?" The Dr comments almost bitterly.

"Does he really have to go?" The man's niece questions.

"Yes, he does." She says.

"Well, if he insists upon leaving, we shall mark the occasion. Tish?" Gomez leads.

"We've planned a farewell party." His wife informs.

"We've invited the entire clan." He adds.

"Uh, what a lovely gesture." The Dr pats Festers shoulder.

"We're a family again and we owe it all to you, Dr Pinder-Schloss." Morticia thanks the woman.

"Please, Greta."

"Greta..."

"Fester.. Walk me out." The Dr then says, taking her leave.

The group made their way upstairs in the early evening, candles lighting the way, the air convivial. The door was opened, everyone staring into the room with awe as Mr and Mrs Addams let Fester walk into the room with reminisce.

"A party? For me? Here?" He questions as Gomez goes by his wife's side.

"Tish? How long has it been since we've waltzed?" He asks lovingly and longingly.

"Oh, Gomez.. Hours." Amber stared at the beautiful married couple with heart filled eyes, astonished by their love for one another as they spun each other around. Lurch stared after the girl as she entered more into the room, her eyes taking in the detail of the room but alas fell back to the dancing pair. He wanted to give her that, give her that experience..

"Oh.. Amber, dear.." Amber hummed, the children chasing each other around the spacious room.

"Your parents will be coming tonight.. Also.. Well, why don't I just show you." Morticia led the girl away from the others, grandma grinning after the two knowingly.

"Now, it's not as fancy as a wedding dress, maybe one day. But for something such as an event we have planned for tonight, this dress should do just nicely." Morticia leads her through the halls, and into a spare room. She walks over to the closet, moths flying out after being released from their crypt. Morticia pulls out a dress, still in its cover.

"This was Mama's.. She used to wear it to all the parties back in the day.. We'd love for you to wear it, tonight." Amber gushes as the dress cover was slipped off, revealing a beautiful black party gown underneath.

"Really?! Are you sure?" She stares hopeful.

"Of course, dear. We wouldn't have it any other way." Amber squeaks in her spot, rushing to the woman and engulfing her in a hug.

"Thank you, Mrs Addams. It's beautiful!"

Lurch stared down before him wonderstruck, his eyes fixated on the girl before him, his heart hammering in his chest. He faltered to say anything, stuck in a daze before more people began to arrive, nodding to the giant before entering the room. He hardly pays them attention, a lame wave as he gathers himself.

"Sorry, am I bothering you? I don't mean to distract you." Amber chuckles. He recoups, smiling as he bows deeply, his reply loud and cheery. Not going unnoticed by Mr and Mrs Addams who smile to themselves at the sight. Grandma cackle to herself as she watches them.

"Oh, Lurch! Well, you are very handsome yourself, you dressed very dashing tonight. Thank you." She blushed madly at his compliment, her mother calling for her from a distance.

"Do have fun tonight, Lurch." She waves as she goes and greets her mother, the woman tense from the strange and unusual family that surrounds them on all sides. Suddenly, Margaret was approached, it was cousin It, wanting to dance with her. Amber smiles gleefully, ushering her mother along, her father grateful to be rid of the woman and with so little effort, leave it up to his daughter, God love her.

"Care to dance, darling?" He offers his daughter for old times' sake, the girl lighting up in her spot.

"Of course!" They dance, one would have thought she was an Addams, especially in her attire. She danced just as wildly as some of them too when she wanted to. Her moves expressive, but graceful. Her movements beguiled Lurch from afar, apparently another as well. Lumpy Addams interrupting the pair to ask her to dance after Wednesday had been sent upstairs to fetch her uncle.

She laughed at the young man's friendly gesture, bowing deeply and offering her a hand to dance. She nods, taking the boy's hand and letting him lead her to an empty spot. Tully then being called over to meet the twins. Lumpy danced dramatically, side to side, the girl having fun and following his pace. Lurch watched as she danced, finishing with the last of his things hurriedly so he could be the one to dance with her at last. And he did, finally taking his chance, and making his way for the young woman.

He finally breaks up the two, both guilty and prideful that he was about to take the girl away from him. Lumpy, at first reluctant, gives into respect, handing the girl to the tall man.

"Lurch? Why, you're dancing with me now? Can't say I'm not excited. I've been hoping to dance with you!" She gleams as he takes hold of her hand firmly, his other arm resting on her side.

"You have? It's because I'm an excellent dancer, isn't it? Though, not as talented as you it appears!" She jokes to his hummed growl, lost in the music and his movements, her own movements syncing with his perfectly. He took her by surprise, twirling her, then proceeding to dip her elegantly. She stared up at him from her position, her hand reaching out to rest on his cheek. They stayed like that a moment, lost in each other eyes before he gently pulls her back up. She rests her head on his chest, the two's dancing turning softer and slowing some into a peaceful pace.

Morticia entered the room with her brother-in-law, her eyes falling to the dancing pair, happy they had a moment together, and knew there'd be more in the future where that came from.

"Everyone, your attention, please." She garners the room's attention. The music coming to a shift, everyone facing the center of attention.

"Tonight, we dance our treasured guest of honor, Fester Addams." She continues. Everyone cheering.

"The mamushka! Taught to us by our Cossack cousins, the mamushka has been an Addam's family tradition since God knows when. We danced the mamushka while Nero fiddled. We danced the mamushka at Waterloo. We danced the mamushka for Jack the Ripper. And now, Fester Addams, this mamushka is for you." Gomez starts, the music then taking over ever so slowly. Gradually building up speed in the tempo as the brothers join each other hand in hand for the mamushka dance. Amber gazed at Lurch with a smile, clapping along to the music as some of the others did.

Knives were brought out in the dance, others joining in close by for the dance or like Amber, dancing in their spot. Amber tried dancing along, Lurch smiling as he showed her the steps involved. The two then dancing side by side joyously along with the mamushka.

The mamushka eventually came to an end, but the party did not. Amber and Lurch embraced each other, dancing to the slow ball music. She couldn't help but pull away some, giggling as she sees her mother still with cousin It, the two out on the torist, chatting the night away. If she was being honest, the sight brought her warmth and joy. Her mother actually looked happy, content, she never looked like that around her father. Hadn't for a long time.

"Tonight was lovely Lurch. Truly unforgettable." The two start to head for the front doors, Margaret still saying her goodbyes to cousin It outside as she waited for her daughter, Tully no where to be seen, oh well. Guess he can find his own way home. What he gets for ditching.

Lurch grumbled, the rumbling sound vibrating her chest as they stayed pressed against one another, their hands holding on to each other. She blushed at his words, stalling from them. He took that as his sign, his tall frame bending down to meet her shorter one, pressing his lips onto hers. She gave in instantly, Lurch comforted by the warmth of her hand being placed on his cheek.

"Oh, Gomez. Look." Morticia points the pair out to her husband, the man grinning happily. Cheering out for them. The two pull about, a horn honking which signals cousin It was leaving. Margaret waits patiently for her daughter, still on cloud nine from her encounter with the cousin. She does a double take as she sees her daughter lean in, hugging the family help.

"Thank you for tonight, Lurch. I had a wonderful time." They bid their farewells, the girl skipping to her mother who waved to the Addams's.

"You seem awfully close with uh.. what's his name again?" Margaret falters after her initial joke.

"Lurch. His name is Lurch, mother. And he's amazing!" The girl swoons, the mother raising a brow but can't really speak on it too much since she had afterall fallen for the cousin with overgrown hair.

"He's.. he's nice to you, I see. Treats you well, I guess.. I guess that's all I can really hope for, isn't it? As long as, as you're happy dear."
