HOLA- again sorry for the late update, but anyways don't forget to leave a vote or some feedback in the comments so I know if people are enjoying this or if I need to fix something!

I woke up to the light of the blazing sun shining into my room from the blinds. And my cat attempting to murder me by attacking my face.
I groaned in exhaustion and shoved him off my bed, stretching before taking off my sheets and walking towards the vanity.
I stared at myself in the mirror for a good while. Damn my hair looked horrible. I stood there for a few more moments, then walked into the bathroom to have a shower.
☾︎
"Took you long enough, (Y/N)." Said Andre, as I sat at the kitchen island.
"What do you mean? I only showered for ten minutes." I stated, giving him a confused look.
"It's nearly twelve o'clock." He rolled his eyes, gesturing for me to look at the clock behind me.
Oh, crap.
I didn't have time to say anything. I had to find Mirabel, travel to Bogotá, and find my family who lived there. So I rapidly ran to the other counter, grabbing two empanadas, running back to the front door, and shoved them into my satchel that stood near the door.
"Hey- where the heck are you going?" My cousin stared at me like I was insane. Did I really look like that?
"Uhm, I just remembered I had a sleepover to attend at Maria's house. Bye!" I rushed, opening the door.
"Again?!" I heard him say, but I had no time to waste. I slammed that door on the annoying boys face and began to speed-walk towards la Casa Madrigal.
☾︎
Surprisingly, I got there earlier than I thought. Turns out my new house was much closer to there. I knocked on the large turquoise doors of the home and waited a few seconds before Alma Madrigal greeted me.
"Oh, hello (Y/N)... What're you doing here?" She questioned, clearly not happy to see me. I'm not sure who I expected to open the door, but it was anyone but her.
Now time for making the excuse. We might have to stay there overnight, or come home extremely late. So,
"Hola, me and Mirabel were actually planning to have another sleepover at our other friends house today, And she doesn't live that far from here actually. So since we had a lot planned, I was wondering if she'd be okay with it starting now?" The grip I had on the strap of my satchel tightened as she called Mirabel to the front door.
"Yes? Oh hey, (Y/N)!" She exclaimed, walking down the stairs.
"Hey-"
"Your friend here... (Y/N), states that your hanging out with her and her other friend for the day and overnight. Is that true?" She said my name in a bitter tone, meaning she clearly had a bad feeling about me.
Mirabel stared blankly at her abuela, then at me. "What?"
I mentally groaned with frustration. "How could you forget? Y'know, the sleepover?" I hoped the understood the fact that she was supposed to follow along with my excuse.
"Oh.. Right. Sorry abuela, I completely forgot to tell you!" She apologized before turning back to me. "Hey can you help me finish packing?" I nodded then followed her up the stairs, and to her bedroom door. Hers for some reason looked much different from the others. Everyone else's were gold and would glow, while hers was a plain dark blue-green door.
"Ha! You look like abuela when you get mad Isabela!" I heard someone downstairs burst with laughter.
"Shut the hell up for once, Camilo!" I heard my friends' angry voice answer.
Mirabel turned the doorknob and revealed the dark room. There were two beds. The right side of the room looked abandoned. There were boxes surrounding the empty bed, which I suspected used to belong to Antonio. Her side of the room was colourful, yet still dark.
"Okay, care to tell me what's going on?" She asked, grabbing my attention which was stolen by the sight of the room.
I explained to her why I wasn't able to see her for the past two days, but I didn't get to finish when she spoke once again.
"And... Why were you talking about this mystery hangout or whatever with my abuela?" She raised her eyebrow, a glint of interest shining in her eyes.
"Well um, I know someone who really knows about your tìo, Bruno." I whispered the mans name, for some reason. Maybe it was because I was scared Alma Madrigal would burst through the door and give me a lecture about the name we "don't speak".
"Oh, that's great! Who is it?"
"Mirabel, we're gonna have to go to Bogotá."
