(Reds Pearl)

Red's POV

I had woken Pink up from the nap she had taken while resting on me, no matter how adorable she was, I had to tell her about the emerging Gem's she had worked on so diligently. This planet, Earth, was the very one I let her help with the first time she came to me. How couldn't I wake her for this exciting moment? "Piink~ Wake up, your Amethyst guards are emerging!" I hushed her awake. She sat up, waking her Pearl in the process as the two smiled. I sent my guards to pick up my Pearl, before promising Pink that we could go to her moon base after my Pearls retrieval.

She nodded and waited with me, until my Pearl came in, her red colour with the default blue uniform clashed, so I immediately got to her remodel. I smiled as she reform perfectly, her new design looking beautiful as she bowed her head in wait of command. "We'll be heading to the moon base now, Pearl, since you are not familiar with Pink's new area, we'll have her Pearl lead us from here." I said softly towards the young Pearl. "Yes My Diamond." She responded warmly, making me smile.

We all walked to the warp pads that were set up and warped to the docking ships. "You, Peridot, I'd like for you to prepare my ship immediately." She nodded and did the Diamond solute before running off and having my ship landing in front of us. I got on and my Gem's sat in their places, already taking off with me, Pink, and the Pearls inside. "To the newly constructed moon base, to check on the planet Earth's colonization." I spoke, the Gems understanding the orders and taking off immediately.

~ Timeskip ~

"Hurry! We've gotta see this!" Pink said to me and the Pearls as we walked down the steps elegantly. "Quickly, turn it on." I couldn't contain my own smile at Pink's eagerness to see her first ever colony, Pearl placing her hand onto the sphere, activating it as the room showed the live images of what was happening in the Prime Kindergarten. "Look at this Red, Pearl's! We're creating life from nothing!" She smiled as looked up at the many other holes.

She turned to one that was just popping out out of the ground, sitting on her knees and opening her arms wide. "Welcome to Earth!" I looked away sadly as the Quartz soldier walked through her. "Pink... I've got to get back, to help with my own colonizing, I'm sorry I had to cut this so short," I looked to the smaller Diamond and smiled, hugging her tightly and ruffling her hair.

"If you need anything at all, call for me." I walked with my Pearl to my ship, and went on my way back to Homeworld.

~ Timeskip ~

Being the closest Diamond to Pink, I often visited, seeing as with my Gems and planets could be taken care of by my excellent Pearl. I got to see how Pink so loved her Earth, of course this was bad as she also come to know of the organic life on Earth. Pink has always been a gentle Gem, but I didn't mind. If she didn't want to go through with the planet's demise, I had told her that I'd support her. But I knew the other three would show no mercy for her, as it was her first colony, and to want to give it up was a taboo on Homeworld, just as bad as off-coloured fusion.

I was scared for her, as I had caught her sneaking out as a Rose Quartz, but it was alright to me if she was safe. 'This is the happiest I've seen her, when she discovers new forms of life and such..' She had told me there might have to be a war, the whole 'night' she sat on my lap and cried as she didn't want the Earth destroyed. I held her until she fell asleep, not once letting her go.

I was going to help her win her war, no matter what it took. All my Gem's were great at battle tactics, as most of them turned out to be for battle. Soldiers for Homeworld, which I was more the alright with. My little Pink's heart would be safe.

~ Small Timeskip ~

"Yellow, we need to talk.." I said, looking down nervously. She let me in and I sat on the floor by her side, resting my head on her armrest. "It's about Pink.." I looked up into her eyes as she tensed and heaved a stressed sigh. "Is there a way we can.. Leave the planet Earth untouched any further?" Yellow looked down at me angrily, standing up, making me stand also. "NO!" She yelled, glaring away from me. "I will not allow her to give up on her first colony! She practically begged for one for so long! All those years of whining will be for nothing!"

Yellow grabbed my wrist tightly, pulling it behind her and making me stumble forward, trying to catch myself. "You will not let her get away with this!" Her grip got tighter on my wrist as I felt like I would poof, suddenly, Blue came in and yanked me away, into her. She wiped my eyes, by then had I noticed red tears were dripping from my face as I stared up at Yellow in shock.

I cowered into Blue a little bit, as my first time being hurt physically and mentally by Yellow burned into my mind. I felt like I was just a few years old, in human terms. I felt like a child. I stood there, being protected with hugs by Blue as the two fought over what had just happened. "Yellow! How dare you treat Red so poorly! She is just as much of a Diamond as you are! How would her subjects and yours think if they had caught wind of this incident!?"

The displeased look on Blue was also conveyed in her voice as she no longer held a timid aura, but a fierce one. It was scary, to say the least.. "Blue, you cannot baby her! She isn't new anymore, she knows the requirements of being a Diamond and she's going against the rules of Homeworld for Pink!" Yellow tried arguing. I was tired of the yelling, my anger acting up.

"Just.. STOP IT!" I yelled, bursting out into flames and emitting heat that was strong enough to melt Diamonds. I quickly calmed down, seeing as I'd hurt Blue if I acted out any longer then a second. The two were scared into silence, as I stood up angrily. "I'm going back to check on my Pearls handling of my colonies, just a warning, the rebellion is acting up, a war is upon us Homeworld Gem's." I said and walked out to my own section of Homeworld.
