Kana POV:

I picked up my pace as I spotted Aqua talking to a bunch of girls, my eyes narrowing.

It really does not matter, I told myself sternly, It does not concern me if Aqua freaking well cheats on Kurokawa.

Except it did bother me, it bothered me that he would do such things.

Aqua POV:

Frill Shiranui. The most famous actress in all of Japan, known for her outstanding beauty. She was the treasure of the school, with all the boys fangirling over her.

I had recently learned from the director of Love Now that Frill had once been a member of the LaLa Lai theatre company. She would no doubt have contacts from the well-known business and the director implyed heavily on Frill, hinting at me that she might know the members of LaLa Lai better than anyone else, though she had only been in a temporary contract.

She seemed to like hanging around me like all the other girls, and I knew I could take her interest to my advantage.

As much I hated cheating, I knew I needed both Akane and Frill to obtain the information I wanted. So Akane would just have to never find out.

I knew I didn't care much for either of them. They just knew what I needed to know. Once they gave me the information it wouldn't matter if either of them found out.

Kana POV:

I slowed down, then stopped completely to watch the girls interacting with Aqua. I knew I shouldn't care, but I knew something was strange. Usually not so many girls would be around him. There was an unsually large crowd today.

I shoved and excused my way to where Aqua was standing at the heart of the mob.

He was chatting merrily to Frill Shiranui. 

Of course. Frill.

The prettiest, most famous girl in the whole school.

Of course it would be Frill.

Despite it not concerning me at all, my blood boiled as I watched the two flirt together. Then, Aqua pulled Frill away from the crowd and behind a bush.

I couldn't stand watching it.

I despised Akane Kurokawa. It would be better if she ended up heartbroken. My biggest rival in the entertainment industry would be ruined. 

But I couldn't let it happen. I just couldn't.

I looked around, hoping not to be the one to reveal all. But nobody else had noticed Aqua and Frill. They were too busy running off to class, since the bell had rung.

I didn't care if I was going to be late.

I stared intensely at the bushes, taking a step closer. 

I didn't want to do it.

The evil part of me whispered that this was Akane's feelings on the line, not mine.

The leaves rustled.
