Annie POV:

Hair dripping with bologonise sauce, juice, rice, noodles and other unidentifiable foods, I pulled myself to the bathroom, limbs heavy with exhaustion but face smiling with satisfication.

Nothing like a food fight to liven things up.

That coward Arima had run away before things really got good. She clearly hadn't been having a good day with food. Oh, well. Too bad, too sad.

The fight had gone on for a good half of lunchtime before teachers had rushed in and put a stop to it. Talk about a party-pooper.

Now everyone was fighting for a spot at a tap, drowning themselves in water, and the office ladies were busy trying to get a spare uniform for everyone. The first-aid room was also crowded, with students with bruises and cuts from flying cutlery.

The girl's bathroom was bursting with shrieking girls, but I had gone to the farthest bathroom from the school. It was a small, slightly gross bathroom, but at least the water worked. I did my best to clean my hair, face and uniform, then used the hand-drier to dry what I could.

Suddenly, the door swung open.

"Come on," A feminine voice giggled. "In here. This place is deserted enough."

Immediantly, I slipped inside a stall, wanting to hear what was going on. It could be useful for blackmail, or just gossip that I wanted to hear. Purposelly, I left the lock unlocked so they would think nobody was there.

I peeked through the gap to see it was Frill Shiranui, the most popular teenage model and most popular girl in the school, with a few other popular girls. They were giggling and whispering, but I could hear them loud and clear in my hideout.

"Frill-chan, tell us now!" A girl's voice demanded. "I've been bursting to know for the past three sessions! Out with it!"

"Okay, okay, Sakura," Frill giggled. "Fine, fine. But you have to promise to NEVER tell. Or else I will kill you."

Dramatic much? I hated popular-girl gossip. But still, I kept my ear firmly pressed to the stall door.

"We promise!" The girls chanted.

"Well... you must never, ever let this get out, okay? .... or Aqua will be furious with me."

A collective gasp. I just managed to stop from gasping myself.

"Aqua?! Hey, no way!" The girls shrieked. "He's so cute! Frill, you are so lucky!"

"Hush!" I could just picture Frill blushing. "I know I am. But he's already dating Akane, and he refuses to break up with her, so this is really a scandal thing..."

"Why won't he break up with that Akane?" The Sakura girl asked inrediculously. "She's not half as famous as you- well, maybe she is - but you're much prettier than her."

"Don't talk like that about Akane." Frill said sternly. "She's a perfectly nice girl. Though... sometims I do wish Aqua would just drop her." She sighed. "Well, just promise to never let this leak. If you do, Akane will find out and everything between me and Aqua will be gone. Diminished."

"It's okay. You can trust us, Frill!" The Sakura girl said vibrantly.

But I had a horrible feeling in my gut that she was lying.

Girls oohed and aahed over Aqua, but no-one dared make a move because of Akane. But now those girls had learnt Frill had gotten him either way. And they were jealous- they would probably do anything to make Frill and Aqua's relationship crumble. And hey, why not destroy Akane and Aqua's as well, too? That would make Aqua completely available. God, Frill was stupid. Those girls were not her friends.

I waited until the girls left the bathroom, then slowly exited the stall.

I wondered if Arima knew about Aqua's scandal.

I wondered if I could use it as leverage.

A/N: So like.. Aqua is so overrated. In the anime he's just using Akane and playing with Kana's feelings. Honestly, he deserves everything he gets. That's why I'm painting him a villian in this story even though he's a half of the ship.
