"FASTER , JUNGWON . FASTER !!!"
Haneul screamed her lungs out, patting Jungwon on his back and asking him to pedal his bicycle faster .
He came out of the hospital yesterday and now he is having fun with his friends, racing to school .
"I CAN'T ROW FASTER, YOU'RE A BURDEN BEHIND"
Jungwon screamed making Haneul massaged his shoulders roughly as punishment .
They quarreled and almost lost control, Haruto and Jeongwoo immediately took advantage and cut them off, speeding like the flash .
Haneul freaks out ,
"DAMN , YOU PARK JEONGWOO ! IF YOU DON'T BROKE MY BICYCLE'S CHAIN, I CAN RIDE MY OWN BICYCLE ! "
Haneul became even more angry when Jeongwoo turned his head to her and stuck out his tongue to tease Haneul .
Haneul patted Jungwon's back again, signaling him to paddle faster while yelling .
"STOP PUNCHING ME , IT HURTS !"
Jungwon whined but it doesn't seems like Haneul cares .
Jungwon pedaled as fast as he could and was on par with Haruto and Jeongwoo.
Haruto and Jeongwoo are anxious to see them both so they decided to play dirty by hitting them from behind .
"HEY , STOP BREAKING ON US !"
Haneul yelled when she could feel them starting to lose control. Haruto and Jeongwoo laughed wholeheartedly, did a high fives to celebrate .
Haneul took off the bag from her shoulders and swung it harshly, hitting Jeongwoo's bicycle in self -defense .
Jeongwoo screams in fear when he starts to lose control due to Haneul's attack .
"HEY, DON'T PULL ME,"
Haruto shouted loudly when Jeongwoo grabbed on Haruto's handle to balance himself but both of them lost control and fell in the middle of the road .
Haneul burst out laughing seeing the two of them fall behind. She shouted sorry to them and excitedly patted Jungwon on his shoulders, asking him to speed off .
Jungwon laughed out loud seeing the condition of Haruto and Jeongwoo but he immediately pedaled as fast as possible and arrived at the school area .
He did not stop for inspection at the main gate and continued to sped into the school which made Cheongsan shout his name continuosly .
"YANG JUNGWON , STOP !"
Cheongsan yelled .
He continued ,
"HEY, YOU CAN'T CYCLE YOUR BICYCLE IN THE SCHOOL AREA! I WILL JOT DOWN YOUR NAME ! "
Jungwon ignored Cheongsan's threats and sped towards the parking lot . Both of them laughed, amused by everything that happened. It's such a good memory to them, really fun .
Jungwon stopped pedaling and parked his bicycle. He got down from the bicycle first and extended his hand to Haneul, helping Haneul to get off the bicycle because she was wearing a skirt .
"IT'S VERY LEGENDARY! YOU'RE VERY GOOD AT SPEEDING !"
Haneul praised Jungwon while spending the rest of her laughing.
Jungwon chuckled and messed with Haneul's hair ,
"Idiot , my back is almost broken if you keep punching me "
He took Haneul's hand and wiggled it in a playful way
"Is this Shrek's hand ?"
Haneul scoffed in disbelief,
"Hello, you underestimate my strength"
She continued ,
She kissed her own fists and then flexed it in front of Jungwon, Jungwon laughed because of her silly action .
"WOAH , WOAH WATCH OUT !!!!!!"
Haruto's scream startled them both. Jungwon's eyes widened when he saw Haruto and Jeongwoo speeding towards them with the maximum speed limit .
"WATCH OUUUUUUTTTT !"
Jeongwoo screamed again , signaling Jungwon and Haneul to step aside with his hands .
Before their bicycles hit Haneul, Jungwon immediately pulled Haneul into his embrace and wrapped his arms around her waist , securing her tightly .
Their bicycle almost collided with Jungwon and Haneul but they collided with a bicycle in the parking lot before falling off their bicycles .
All bicycles arranged in the parking lot immediately fell to the ground , like dominoes .
Jeongwoo and Haruto winced in pains when their backs bumped with the hard ground as Jungwon and Haneul shook their heads in disbelief after witnessing the commotion they just did .
"WHO DID THIS ?! ”
Mr Kang’s firm voice echoed throughout the areas .
As a cue, Jungwon immediately connected his hand with Haneul's hand, dragging her to escape the scene.
Jeongwoo's jaw dropped seeing them both run away.
"HEY, WHERE DO YOU TWO WANT TO GO !"
He tried to get up but his pants were stuck in the bicycle tires making Jeongwoo groaned .
Haruto managed to escape and was about to escape before Mr Kang arrived but Jeongwoo held his pants and stopped him .
"HEY , ARE YOU CRAZY ? LET ME GO !"
Haruto yelled, immediately squatting to protect himself .
"YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME! ”
Jeongwoo yelled .
Haruto freaked out when he saw Mr Kang and Cheongsan were running towards them, he tried to took Jeongwoo's grip from his pants but Jeongwoo hold it tight for his dear life .
"ARGHH , THE LION KING IS ALMOST ARRIVED, LET ME GO NOW JEONGWOO !"
Before Haruto could escape, Mr. Kang first held his arm. The male slowly titled his head up to Mr Kang and awkwardly smiled .
Mr Kang smiled back at them both before pulling their ears .
"YOU BOTH LITTLE RASCALS—"
"WE ARE SORRY MR KANG !"

Jungwon and Haneul ran into the classroom while laughing, they could hear the commotion going on outside .
"Jeongwoo and Haruto are in big trouble"
Haneul laughed .
Jungwon replied to her ,
"Who asked them to collide with bicycles and create bicycles domino ? "
Haneul burst out laughing more when she heard what Jungwon said, the scene where one by one the bicycle fell like a domino replaying in her mind on loop.
She noticed that her hair was in a big mess because they were racing bicycles and running earlier, she tried to fix her hair but Jungwon refused to let go of her hand .
Knowing that Jungwon was very stubborn, she just fixed her hair with their hands still connected, Jungwon's hand somehow brushed on her face which made Haneul gulped down her saliva nervously .
"Why don't you let go of my hand? "
She asked him but Jungwon shook his head .
"Didn't you say you wanted interlocking our hands like this?
I'm doing what you want "
Haneul blushed , quickly turned her gaze away from the teasing Jungwon .
"Stop teasing me , I was still sleepy at the moment and just said nonsense"
Haneul also doesn't know what their relationship is but she is sure that they are still friends, it's because only Haneul confessed to him and she had no idea about Jungwon's feelings .
Jungwon laughed and tapped Haneul's nose in a playful way to snap her out . He then leaned closer to the girl's ear , tucking her hair strands behind her ear and whispered .
"I like your hair in this style, remember that "
Haneul blushed even harder and pushed Jungwon away from her. Jungwon found it entertaining to tease Haneul so he kept on teasing the girl.
They quarreled and yelled at each other without realizing that Sunoo was watching them from his locker .
He faintly smiled , collecting all his strength to smile . Even he likes Haneul, he realizes that Haneul is happier with Jungwon .
Everyone always said, love love does not mean we need to have someone we like , it is enough to see them happy with their own choices .
And falling in love is one of the growing process, it can be painful and hurtful sometimes but it is one of the best experiences where we learn to control our feelings.
Seeing Jungwon happy, that's Sunoo's life goal. Seeing him smile wide again after years of faking his smile made Sunoo willing to give up everything for the sake of Jungwon .
He is willing and ready to let go of a girl he likes for Jungwon's sake if it can restore his happiness .
After all , he really loves Jungwon more where he can let go of other things with ease .
From the day where he saw Haneul and Jungwon on the tree through his class window, he knew that they were each other's happiness.

It was break time and Jungwon left the cafeteria early because he wanted to go to the school store .
He deliberately leaves Haneul stuck with Jeongwoo and Haruto who are still holding grudges and escape alone because he doesn't want Haneul to follow him .
He wants to buy onigiri for them as a surprise because he is indebted to them who always go to the hospital to visit him .
After getting onigiri from the school store, he walked happily while swaying the plastic .
He thought of stopping by Sunoo's class and giving him an onigiri as well because Sunoo faithfully took care of Jungwon day and night .
He is very grateful to have Sunoo as a big brother that he can lean on, they never quarrel as they understand each other really well .
His steps suddenly halted when he saw Yunju who was leaning on Jungwon's locker, playing with a coin while waiting for someone .
When their eyes connected, Yunju smiled and kept the coin in her palm, she walked over to Jungwon with a sinister smile "How are you, are you healthy now ?"
She then tapped Jungwon's shoulders, pretending to dusted off something ,
She paused and looked into Jungwon's trembling eyes .
"....doesn't it remind you of something? "
Jungwon pushed Yunju away from him and distanced himself ,
" Please, I don't want to talk about it "
Yunju grinned ,
"I think Byeongho is watching you. He must be waiting for time to strangle you—"
Yunju tried to trigger Jungwon by pretending to choke him but Jungwon pushed her hands away .
Yunju laughed towards his actions ,
"He was whispering in your ears ‘Jungwon, how dare you kill your own friends? ’ "
" 'You promised to take care of Yunju but you hurt her '... Byeongho is for sure crying right now ... "
Jungwon's heartbeat increased once the accident flashed back on his mind like a loop, his breath hitched as Byeongho's bloody face appeared on his mind.
Sweat glands dripping sweat non -stop, causing Jungwon to feel like he wants to vomit and is very weak .
Yunju grinned in while looking at Jungwon's condition
"Jungwon, you really deserve to live in regret—"
"Shut your ass up , Yunju"
Haneul cut her off .
Haruto and Jeongwoo immediately ran to Jungwon, holding him so he wouldn't fall as he was still struggling to catch his breath .
Haneul fixed her eyes on Yunju ,
"Do you think it's cool to tease someone about something that traumatized them?"
Yunju scoffed in disbelief and crossed her hands , she took a step forward closer to Haneul and slightly pushed her shoulder .
"Hey , do you know what your lover did to me ?"
Jungwon's eyes widened , he quickly shook his head in responses , telling Yunju to not tell Haneul about it but the girl just smirked to him .
"Jungwon , kill his own friend "
She continued ,
"He killed Byeongho , his own best friend and my boyfriend "
"He looks innocent but he is a monster, he is a sinner who lives a happy and perfect life even he just killed someone !"
Yunju yelled her lungs out .
Jungwon shut his eyes tightly, a huge stone seemed to hit him. He looked at Haneul and the girl froze on the spot, shocked by what she just heard .
Yunju smirked and stood closer to Haneul , amused with her speechless face . She then played with Haneul's hair like a psychotic .
"Interesting, isn't it? He is the cause of his own best friend's death "
Yunju giggled ,
"He should just die and not Byeongho— OUCH , CHO HANEUL !"
Yunju yelled in pains when Haneul twisted her hand roughly . She yelled for her to stop but Haneul didn't stop, she twisted her hand harder .
"Who is the real monster, you or him? "
"Shin Yunju , do you think i don't know about this ? I know the real story "
Haneul spoke up .
On the day Jungwon was hospitalized , Sunoo told her about the accident that claimed Byeongho's life .
Jungwon seemed surprised when he heard Haneul said that , he was about to settle down Haneul and Yunju's fight but Haruto and Jeongwoo hold him tight,
"Stay still, Jungwon. They might clawing later and girls' fights are more violent than boys"
Haneul chuckled in disbelief ,
"The audacity you have to blamed his death on Jungwon ... aren't you ashamed ?"
"I know it's hard for you to accept the fact that your lover is gone, but that doesn't mean you can blame Jungwon "
"Jungwon was with Byeongho at that time ! ” Yunju screamed.
"They both just wanted to hang out and had no idea that the bus would lost control and flipped over."
Haneul uttered .
She continued ,
" And you blamed Jungwon because he was the one who asked Byeongho to hang out ?"
"No one expected an accident to happen that night ! "
"And Jungwon— "
Haneul paused for a while, taking a glance to Jungwon .
"He also suffered, he was traumatized by that accident so he couldn't take the bus at all "
"But instead of calming Jungwon as a friend, you choked him and took advantages .
You made him drown more "
"Do you know that he suffers almost everyday, blaming himself for Byeongho's death because of you? "
Yunju gritted her teeth , she pushed Haneul away and harshly grabbed on her collar and slapped Haneul on her cheek .
"You are not in my place so you can say it easily, Cho Haneul "
She glared towards Jungwon ,
"It's always his fault, if he doesn't ask Byeongho to hang out, he is the one who was killed in that accident and not Byeongho "
"Byeongho is definitely still by my side now ... But Jungwon ..."
Yunju began to cry .
Jungwon's heart sank hearing Yunju's words, he felt guilty. He thinks it's true what Yunju said, if he doesn't ask Byeongho to hang out at that moment, of course that accident won't happen to them .
Everyone gasped when Haneul slapped Yunju's cheek. She then roughly grabbed on Yunju's collar as well .
"Watch your words, Shin Yunju"
"We never know when our death will come. To be honest, I'm disgusted with you "
"You cheated behind Jungwon with Byeongho, but then you did this to Jungwon ... wow, did you see yourself in the mirror ?"
Haneul slammed Yunju on the locker, causing her back to bump with the locker.
Haneul huffed ,
"If you want to bother my friends again, I will make you regret "
Yunju scoffed in disbelief, she stood up and wiped her tears. She then purposely bumped with Haneul's shoulder before walking away from them.
Jungwon's knees felt so weak , he automatically fell seated . Only god knows how trembling he was right now .
He placed his hand on his chest , felt his heartbeat as if about to bounce out .
The accident flashed on his mind again, it was really triggering and traumatizing him .
But then, Haneul ran and hugged him tightly . Jungwon was a bit shocked when the girl knelt down and hugged him .
"It's not your fault , Jungwon"
Haneul whispered to him , slowly patting his back to calm him down .
"It was never your fault at the first place..."
Haneul uttered , her voice cracked a bit at the end .
Haneul felt so sorry for the male who bottled up everything to himself, she hugged him tighter.
Haneul placed her hand on Jungwon's head and slowly pushed his head to rest on her shoulder .
Jungwon couldn't help but sobbed even more harder , he hugged her back and let go of all his grieve .
Jungwon just can't express how much he appreciates Haneul ,
"Haneul, thank you for existing"
"No , Jungwon..."
Haneul cut him off , shushing him .
"Thank you for being strong ,"
"You're strong ,"
"Really strong ,"
"I'm so proud of you"
