Danny Sam and Tucker were at school. It was a slow day, but Danny couldn't concentrate on anything. His mind has been all over the place since this morning.

And the school seemed sadder than usual. Danny was sitting in Latin class, The teacher was talking about something in Latin making everyone very confused while he stared at out the window. Cujo stayed home today which he was fine with, Cujo does his own thing anyway.

"Mr.Fenton! Please come and read on the board since the outside world is more interesting than my work" The teacher Mr.Tang shouted. Danny nodded and read the board. A month ago, he would have had no idea what was written there. But now, he could read it like it was English.

"The dog jumped over the fence" Danny read. He spoke clearly and said every world right. Mr. Tang's eyes widened, he wanted Danny to say a word wrong so he can embarrass himself in front of his Peers, but that plan backfired. He cleared his voice "good work Mr.Fenton" and continued his lecture.

Danny went back to gazing out the window.

The bell then rang.

Sam glanced worriedly over to Danny as they packed up their stuff.

"Danny are you okay? we've been spaced out for most of the day?" Tucker asked. Danny saw the worried looks on his friend's faces "I'm fine guys, just a bit not here today" he said. 

They went to thier next class but was stopped by pushing Danny.

He fell to the floor as everyone laughed. "watch where you're going, Fen-turd!"

Dash Baxter, the school Bully, Jock, and most popular kid in school. He has always had a grudge agast Danny, always picking on him, unless Danny stays out of his way.

Danny got off the floor grumbling "I didn't stay you can get up, Fenton!" Dash pushed him again.

"Leave him alone Dash!" Sam yelled. She stepped in front of Danny while Tucker helped him up "oh yeah! what are you going to do girly?" Dash taunted. Sam smirked "I wouldn't provoke me if I were you" Sam then whispered something to Dash. Dash's eyes winded and he seemed nerves, but then he got his cool and glared at them "Your off the hook, for now"

He and his other Jock friends walked away "what did you say to him?" Tucker asked. Sam still had her smirk "just something I overheard but it won't keep him away for long" She said.

Danny nodded. "I will steer clear of him, well try too anyway"

It was lunch and Danny was by his locker, Sam had gone to a teacher quickly taking Tucker with her. So Danny was going to wait for them by the astrometry classroom.

But while he was waiting, Dash was coming. Danny went to hid in the class but it was locked. "Looks like you don't have any of your friends to help you now Fen-toad!"

Dash picked Danny up before he could run, Dash was the biggest kid in the school and the most athletic. So picking Danny up was nothing, Danny is a small kid, even for a 10-year-old.

Dash went to the nearest locker. The one he chose was old and rusty and was hanging open.

Dash stuffed Danny in "Get comfortable Fenton, you're going to be in here for a while" and he shut it closed.

Danny hit the locker "Dash! don't leave me in here, let me out!!!" he screamed, but Dash just laughed and walked away.

Danny tried to open it but Dash slammed in shut. "Anyone! help!" Danny called. but everyone would be at the cafeteria or outside. Maybe his friends were on their way. AH! he wished he could go intangible!

Danny leaned against the wall only to feel something there. He turned and felt, it was really dark in the locker. It was a mirror. He felt some kind of power to it, ectoplasm?! he felt a chill.

Danny flinched when someone banged on the locker.

"Getting comfy Fenton!" It was Dash again, and from the laughing, he brought his friends with him. Danny didn't say anything.

Dash and his friends then begin to make fun of him. Danny doesn't listen, he knows all their words were stupid and not real, but some of the comments hit hard.

"Freak!"

"where are your friends? they properly left you"

"Everyone hates you!"

'Bully~'

Who said that?!

Danny kicked the locker, the aura, the chill, it's a ghost! The locker opened and Danny fell out, only making Dash and the others laugh. "Danny!" Sam and Tucker came running, but they were blocked by the other Jocks.

Dash picked Danny up by his collar "Well, I think Fenton deserves a beat down? what do you think Kwan?"

Kwan nodded but he looked a bit nervous.

'Bullies~'

The voice echoed, and everyone froze. "D-did you hear that?" Dash stuttered.

Dash dropped Danny. Dash then was lifted and slammed into the locker and it closed, all the other students ran screaming. Danny got up and stared at the locker. He could see the ghost, he was a teenager, big glasses, and nerdy.

He was glaring at the locker "No Bullies, I hate them!" he shouted. He turned to Danny and smiled "The Ghost severe, Phantom! It is an honor to meet you!" He stepped forward.

"I-I haven't met a ghost that someone can hear?" Danny said.

The ghost laughed "Well most ghost can if they wanted, but since I hate bullies I have some powers, but not as strong as Skulker or any other ghost"

He put his hand out "Sidney Pointdexter, nice to meet you"

Danny shook his hand "Nice to meet you..." Danny was still trying to wrap his head around this.

"I can hear him!" Sam said. "Really?!"

"Yes, my powers are impressive, but as I said, any ghost can do that, but it is power consuming so they rather not be seen," Sidney said, "So Skulker could have shown himself this whole time?!?" Sam Shouted.

"well I have to go, stay clear of Bullies" Sidney did a salute and fazed thought the locker.

With that, Danny and his friends went to eat their lunch.

"So, Ghost can be seen, but they rather not?" Sam questioned. "Well, Skulker did say it really mattered on the Ghost Obsession, the only reason why Skuler is so powerful is that he wanted to be the greatest hunter, And he also mentioned that it depends on the Ghost Zone, if the King is powerful, the ghost will be powerful too," Danny said.

Tucker nodded "It makes sense, but still, why hasn't Skulker shown himself to us? or any other ghosts?"

Sam thought about it "Danny, didn't you say that Walker guy had a rule where they can't show themselves to humans?"

Danny nodded "yeah, and they had to go have an audience with the King if they break it, made Wulf really scared"

"How is Wulf?" Tucker asked. Danny shrugged "I don't know, but hopefully he is better then he was in the prison"

"what are we going to do about Dash?" Danny asked. Sam Smirked "Don't worry, leave that to me"

They finished their lunch and talked a bit more, joking around a bit before the bell rang.

After school, the friends all gathered in front of the school and walked home.

Danny dropped Sam off, waving goodbye. He started to head home.

As he was walking he noticed it got quiet and eerie. He walked faster.

Something scattered behind him, he started to run.

A shadow loomed above him. He saw his house, he sprinted to the door. But he was yanked to the sky.

"AHHHH!"

Large green claws held onto Danny's shoulders.

"See, I told you it was the right kid," an old, raspy voice said. Danny glanced up and saw a green Vulchur.  There were three of them, all had fezes on, one had black sunglasses like a blind man would wear.

"Let me go!" Danny shouted. He struggled, "No can do Sonny, the ghost King wants you," the one said.

Danny didn't want to go anywhere, and something about the KIng made him scared, and why would the Ghost King want to see him!!!

Danny whistled. It was his only hope, hopefully, he could hear it. 

The Vulchurs stopped in the air "This is where the portal should be opened up" the one carrying him said.

Danny looked to the ground, he's never been scared of heights but...

A Green swirling portal then opened "okay let's go!"

Then a loud Bark stopped them.

"Cujo!!!" Danny yelled. Cujo in giant beast form jumped and gradded Danny. "Get him out of here!" Skulker yelled.
"You fool!!!" the Vulchurs screamed and flew through the portal.

Danny hugged Cujo when he was on his back "Oh thank you so much, boy!"

Skulker and Cujo quickly dropped Danny off at home. Once he was in his room, he found Skulker passing and Cujo on his bed.

"Phantom, what did though Vulchurs want with you?" Skulker asked.

"They said that the King wanted to see me,"

Skulker became agitated "That's not good if the King wants you, he up to something," Skulker said.

"Listen Danny, I want you to stay home for a few days okay? just until I get back, keep Cujo with you at all times, Okay"

Danny nodded " I will try, but my mom can sniff out a lie a mile away, especially if I am sick, wait, no that's Sam, okay!" Danny gave a confident smile.

Skulker tried to smile but he was too worried "Okay, I'm going to the ghost zone now, try to keep safe"

Skulker then flew out of the room.

Danny sat on his head and pet Cujo "I wonder why the Kind wants me?"

"AUGH!!! You useless Fools!!!" bellowed the King.

"were a sorry boss, but other Skulker stopped us from taking the kid," The Vulchur said.

"Why on-" The King fired an ectoblast, destroying the wall.

"Fright Knight!" He shouted. "Yes Sir!"

"I want you to get Phantom here, one way or another! Go!"

"Yes My King"

"I will get him and find out why he has this power"
