Summer: Part 7

Location: Watchtower, Justice League's headquarters.

Inside the Watchtower, Ace watches the various battle feeds on the large monitors, his eyes lighting up as he sees the Black Order being defeated.

"Nice!" Ace exclaims, pumping his fist in celebration.

Batman stands nearby, arms crossed, his gaze focused and serious. "Good work, everyone. But it's not over yet."

Ace glances over at Batman, a puzzled look on his face. "What do you mean? The Black Order is down. That's a big win."

Batman's expression doesn't change. "Superman and the others haven't reported back yet."

Ace waves a hand dismissively. "Come on, it's Superman. He's way stronger than Vilgax. I mean, Vilgax is tough, sure, but we're talking about the guy who can go toe-to-toe with the greatest threats on earth."

Batman raises an eyebrow. "You're basing this on the Vilgax from the Ben 10 universe. But this isn't that universe, is it?"

Ace pauses, the gravity of Batman's words sinking in. His mind races. The Vilgax he knows is formidable, but that was in a universe without the likes of Darkseid, Mongul, and Brainiac.

And the Black Order... They serve Thanos. If Vilgax is here, where is Thanos? Has Vilgax defeated him?

A cold shiver runs down Ace's spine. "Maybe Vilgax is more powerful than I thought..."

Before another word can be exchanged, a sudden red flash illuminates the room. A boom tube opens behind Batman and Ace, its swirling red energy casting an ominous glow.

Both Batman and Ace turn to face the source of the disturbance. Emerging from the boom tube is Vilgax, his form a terrifying fusion of his classic and reboot appearances. He's larger, more imposing, with an aura of sheer power that makes the Omnitrix on Ace's wrist feel unbearably heavy.

(Vilgax, Minus the Sword.)

"So, this is the famed Watchtower. How quaint." Vilgax steps forward, his presence dominating the room.

Ace's eyes widen as he takes in Vilgax's appearance. "He looks like a mix of his classic and reboot versions... What kind of power does he have? And was that a Boom Tube?"

Batman steps in front of Ace, his voice low and steady. "Get ready, Ace. We might be facing a version of Vilgax far beyond what we've seen before."

Ace gulps, activating the Omnitrix. The familiar green glow provides a slight comfort, but the weight of the situation presses heavily on him. "Vilgax, what do you want?"

Vilgax's eyes gleam with malice. "I've already defeated your so-called greatest champions. Now, I will take this Watchtower and, ultimately, your world. But first, I want what is due to me."

Ace's mind races.

He knows he has to choose the right alien to stand a chance against this upgraded Vilgax. His finger hovers over the Omnitrix dial, hesitating for a moment.

"Whatever happens." Batman says, his voice calm and authoritative, "we stand together."

"Let's do this." Ace nods, his resolve hardening.

As Vilgax advances, the heroes prepare for what could be their most challenging battle yet. The fate of Earth hangs in the balance, and the Watchtower becomes the battleground for an epic showdown.

Vilgax's eyes narrow as he sees the Omnitrix on Ace's wrist.

"The most powerful weapon in the universe, in the hands of a mere adolescent Terran. How pathetic." He scoffs disdainfully.

Ace, determined and undeterred, slams down on the Omnitrix. 

In a flash of green light, he transforms into Armodrillo, the Talpaedan alien with immense drilling power.

"Armodrillo!" Ace shouts, charging at Vilgax with all his might.

Vilgax is momentarily taken aback by the form, recognizing the Talpaedan species. He knew the aliens in the Omnitrix and how Azmuth had locked many behind protocols and codes. Lost in thought for a split second, Vilgax is caught off guard as Armodrillo smashes a powerful arm into him.

Vilgax barely budges, his feet sliding back slightly. With a growl, he grabs Armodrillo by the face, lifting him effortlessly before slamming him into the ground and hurling him into a wall. Each attack reverberates through the Watchtower, shaking its very foundations.

Batman, seeing the disparity in power, quickly starts devising a plan. Vilgax steps closer to the dazed Armodrillo, each step producing a menacing clack.

"So, this is the bearer of the Omnitrix? Pathetic. The most powerful weapon in the universe, in the hands of a mere adolescent Terran." Vilgax mocks Ace. "Once I have the Omnitrix, I will rule this universe."

Ace decides it's time for a switch. He activates the Omnitrix and transforms into Eatle, the Oryctini form known for its powerful blasts.

"Eatle!" Ace shouts, munching on some debris before firing a barrage of energy blasts at Vilgax. "Gotcha!"

Vilgax doesn't bother dodging, walking through the blasts with a sneer. He grabs Eatle by the horn and repeatedly beats him down, each strike echoing through the chamber. Ace reverts back to human form, battered and bruised.

"Is this the best you can do? Pathetic." Vilgax mocks Ace, looming over him.

As Vilgax readies another punch, a boom tube suddenly opens behind him, its swirling red energy pulling him in. Ace is caught in the pull as well, desperately trying to transform but getting hooked by something.

Ace looks over to see Batman holding him. Batman must have somehow opened a boom tube to counter Vilgax's one. The tube shrieks and distorts, but Vilgax claws his way out of it with sheer force of will.

Ace, seeing the desperation in Batman's eyes, activates the Omnitrix again. Batman, realizing what Ace is about to do, shouts, "Don't do it!"

But it's too late.

"Sorry Batman, going hero!"Ace transforms into Cannonbolt, the Arburian Pelarota.

"Cannonbolt!" he roars, curling into a ball and rocketing straight into Vilgax's stomach. The impact sends both of them careening into the boom tube.

Batman had set the boom tube coordinates to the ozone layer of Earth. Ace and Vilgax crash land into the planet, the impact forming a massive crater in a remote plain.

Ace, reeling from the crash, transforms back into human form. He looks around, disoriented, but aware that he's in a vast, empty plain. Vilgax, emerging from the wreckage, makes his presence known with a menacing growl.

"All he did was prolong your suffering," Vilgax states coldly, his eyes fixed on Ace. "You're first for what you did to me."

Ace, determined to not go down without a fight, activates the Omnitrix once more and transforms into... 

Rath, the Apoplexian alien known for its ferocity.

"LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING, VILGAX! " Rath shouts, rushing towards the towering alien warlord. "RATH IS GONNA SHOVE THOSE WORDS RIGHT BACK DOWN YOUR THROAT!"

Rath rushes at Vilgax, who swings a mighty fist. Rath ducks under the punch, grabs Vilgax's arm, and tries to flip him. Vilgax resists, lifting Rath off the ground and slamming him down with a thunderous crash.

"Is that all you've got, Earthling? I've faced warriors across galaxies who would crush you like an insect."

The battle resumes with renewed intensity, Rath's relentless aggression clashing with Vilgax's overwhelming power. The fate of the Earth hangs in the balance as Ace fights on, driven by sheer will and determination

While Ace is grappling with Vilgax on the battlefield, Batman is back at the Watchtower, urgently contacting every available Justice League member.

"All available units, head to these coordinates immediately," Batman commands, sending the location of Ace and Vilgax's fight. "This is all hands on deck. Superman and the rest are down. I repeat. Superman is down. All members! Head to these coordinates immediately!"

Location: Remote Plain, Earth

Back to Ace and Vilgax:

As Rath, Ace narrowly avoids Vilgax's brutal attacks. Rath, favoring offense over defense, circles around Vilgax and manages to grab him from behind. 

With a roar, Ace transforms into Shocksquatch, the Gimlinopithecus alien, and releases a full-power shock blast directly into Vilgax.

The alien warlord grunts and screams in pain, but quickly recovers, elbowing Shocksquatch into the ground. Vilgax then grabs Shocksquatch and throws him into a nearby forest.

Shocksquatch recovers fast and sends electric blasts at Vilgax. The blasts hit their mark, causing Vilgax to grunt in pain, but he recovers quickly, lunging forward and slamming Shocksquatch into the ground.

"Electricity? How primitive." As he then blasts through his Shocksquatch lightning and sends him flying through the air as he lands on the ground.

Vilgax leaps to where Shocksquatch landed but finds nothing. His eyes glow as he scans the area, eventually spotting Ace in his Chamalien form, crawling stealthily.

"Ah, the Merlinisapiens. This brings back fond memories." Vilgax mocks Ace, reminiscing about the day he eradicated the Merlinisapien species.

Chamalien tries to go invisible and to hide, but Vilgax's enhanced vision catches him. He then shoots red energy beams from his eyes, striking Chamalien. The pain forces Ace to revert to his human form, dropping to his knees.

""Hiding won't save you, child."" Vilgax towers over Ace, mocking him further. Ace, gritting his teeth, acknowledges that hiding won't save him.

"I agree. And I won't run away either. Time to call in the champ." Ace said panting heavily as he then activates the omnitrix and slams down on the Omnitrix and transforms into Humungousaur, the mighty Vaxasaurian.

"HUMUNGOUSAUR!!!" he roars, growing larger and sprouting spikes on his body.

"A Vaxasaurian? Interesting." Vilgax states as Humungousaur charges at him, and the two engage in a fierce blow-to-blow fight.

The massive Vaxasaurian roars, charging at Vilgax. The two titans clash, exchanging powerful blows. Humungousaur manages to land a heavy punch, sending Vilgax staggering back.

Vilgax then smashes Humungousaur into the ground, but Humungousaur retaliates by slamming his tail into Vilgax, creating a powerful shockwave. Vilgax is sent flying back, landing hard and causing the earth to upheave beneath his feet. He growls angrily at Humungousaur and charges again.

Humungousaur sends another shockwave at Vilgax, stopping his advance momentarily.

Humungousaur charges again, swinging his tail to create shockwaves. Vilgax braces himself, taking the hits but remaining standing. With a roar, Vilgax rushes forward, speeds forward before Humungousaur can strike again, grabbing his tail and spinning him in a circle before hurling him through the forest, creating a small crater upon impact.

"Not done yet, Vilgax!" Humungousaur says, struggling to his feet as Vilgax approaches. Humungousaur crashes, creating a crater. He gets up, eyes blazing with determination. Vilgax approaches, his eyes glowing ominously.

"You're resilient, I'll give you that. But this ends now." Vilgax says as his eyes glow, and he then fires a powerful beam of heat vision at Humungousaur. "But I've had enough of this."

Humungousaur fights against the beam, slowly advancing towards Vilgax. Vilgax, slightly impressed, increases the power of his beams.

Vilgax unleashes a even more powerful beam of heat vision. Humungousaur fights against it, roaring defiantly as he moves forward, but the beam's intensity increases and the increased power eventually forces him back, forcing him to his knees even.

He struggles against the relentless onslaught until he finally reverts down to his smaller form, collapsing in exhaustion. Finally, Humungousaur reverts to Ace, who collapses from exhaustion.

Vilgax stands over Ace, victorious. "You fought valiantly, but it's over. Your pathetic resistance ends here."

Ace, struggling to get up, looks up at Vilgax with determination in his eyes. Despite his injuries, he is ready to fight until his last breath.

"This is the best Earth has to offer? Pathetic."

"This isn't over..." Ace, struggling to rise, looks up at Vilgax.

Oh, it is. And now, I will turn my sights on your precious Earth. But first, my prize." Vilgax then reaches down but then he hears something.

As Vilgax turns, a boom tube opens up, and the Justice League members arrive. Batman steps forward, determination in his eyes.

"Not on our watch, Vilgax." Batman says as multiple heroes are behind him.

The battle is far from over as the Justice League prepares to face the formidable foe.

In the midst of the chaotic battlefield, Wonder Woman, Hawkwoman, Booster Gold, Blue Beetle (Ted Kord), Flash, Zatara, Vixen, Wildcat, Aquaman, Hawkman, The Atom, Martian Manhunter, Red Tornado, Guy Gardiner, Black Canary, Green Arrow, Icon, and Rocket land, arriving through super speed, teleportation, or flight.

Ace takes notice that Batman is now clad in a formidable suit of armor, designed for heavy combat. Batman assesses the situation swiftly.

"Rocket, get Ace out of here. The rest of you, prepare for combat." Batman commands all of them.

Rocket rushes to Ace, using her abilities to create a protective field around him. Vilgax sees the force field and scoffs at it before turning his attention to the Heroes.

"So, this is what Earth has left to offer? Truly pitiful." Vilgax mocks them as he then looks at Ace once more. Vilgax then turns his back on Ace, dismissing him. "I'll collect the Omnitrix after I've dealt with Earth's so-called 'heroes'."

"Wonder Woman, you take the lead. Those with super strength, follow behind her." Batman commands them. He then turns his attention to the rest. "Flash, Green Arrow, Blue Beetle, Booster Gold, provide support. Move out!"

Wonder Woman draws her sword and charges at Vilgax, leading the attack. Hawkwoman, Aquaman, and Hawkman follow closely behind, each ready to strike.

Flash uses his speed to dart around Vilgax, attempting to distract him. Green Arrow and Blue Beetle fire arrows and energy blasts, while Booster Gold provides covering fire.

"For Themyscira!" Wonder Woman screams as she swings her sword at Vilgax, who blocks with his forearm, the clash sending shockwaves through the battlefield.

Hawkwoman then swoops in, swinging her mace at Vilgax's head. He ducks, but Aquaman follows up with a powerful trident thrust, forcing Vilgax to step back.

"Pathetic. Is this the best you can do?" Vilgax taunts as he swings his massive arm, knocking Hawkman out of the air and into a tree.

"Everyone, keep the pressure on!" Green Arrow says as he fires a trick arrow, exploding into a net that entangles Vilgax momentarily.

"Nice shot, Arrow!" Blue Beetle says, as he launches an energy blast, hitting Vilgax in the chest.

"Enough!" VIlgax says, now angered at being pushed. With a roar, he breaks free of the net and sends an energy wave, knocking back several heroes.

Flash speeds in, landing rapid punches on Vilgax before darting away. Booster Gold and Green Arrow continue their ranged attacks, trying to keep Vilgax off balance. While Vilgax is distracted, Batman then looks over to the rest of the heroes he had on his side.

"Zatara, Martian Manhunter, Vixen, you're up. Hit him with everything you've got!" Batman commands them.

Zatara chants a spell, sending magical chains to bind Vilgax.

Martian Manhunter phases through the ground and emerges behind Vilgax, landing a powerful telepathic blast.

Vixen channels the strength of an elephant, charging and striking Vilgax with incredible force.

"You're all just insects!" Vilgax exclaims as he breaks free of the magical chains and sends a telekinetic shockwave, throwing Vixen and Martian Manhunter back. "Worms, that Deserved to be squash as such"

Rocket gets Ace to safety, placing him in a protected area. "You're going to be okay, Ace. Stay here."

"I need to get back in there." Ace says, looking at the rest.

"Not in your condition. You like you went a round with my Mother after saying- know what, nevermind. Let the League handle him."

"Red Tornado, Atom, Guy Gardner, Black Canary, Icon, and Rocket, get ready. We need to hit him from all angles." Batman says this to the remaining heroes.

Red Tornado creates a powerful cyclone, attempting to trap Vilgax.

Atom shrinks down, trying to find a weak point.

Guy Gardner constructs a massive green hammer with his ring and swings it at Vilgax.

Black Canary unleashes a sonic scream, disorienting Vilgax.

"Your efforts are futile!" Vilgax says, as he powers through the attacks, grabbing Red Tornado and smashing him into the ground. "What a mechanical disaster."

Rocket creates a force field around Vilgax, while Icon flies in, delivering a powerful punch. Vilgax roars in pain, but remains defiant. "I will not be bested by mere terrans!"

"Now, everyone, together!" Batman screamed at the rest of the League.

The League converges on Vilgax, combining their powers and abilities.

Wonder Woman, Icon, Martian Manhunter, Hawkwoman, Aquaman, and Hawkman deliver a coordinated strike, pushing Vilgax to his limits.
