Only just a year ago, we were all just aquaintances.

Now..we're much closer than that.

It took a while, but we all got use to being around one another.

Naruto and Sasuke use to fight almost everyday.

Now, once in a while you'll see a faint smile come across his face.

It's really something to be admired.

Please... If their is a God: Let this feeling last forever.

The sun rises, peaking through Sakura's curtain.

Noticing this, Sakura slowly emerges from her bed, letting out a long yawn.

Raising her head slightly, she lets out a sigh.

Tempted to lay back in bed, she suddenly hears a knock at her bedroom window.

Looking in that direction, a confused look crosses her face as she removes the covers, walking over to peak through her curtain.

A rush of excitement flows through her body seeing a familiar face.

Throwing back her curtains, she lightly taps the window, smiling widely.

Naruto notices her, and waves excitedly.

As a faint smile crosses Sasuke's face.

Sakura quickly holds up a finger, signaling them to wait.

She rushes over to her dresser, grabbing some socks, panties, and the new outfit she bought after school the other day.

Walking into her bathroom, she hears the front door downstairs open and her mom greeting her friends.

"Hi Sasuke, Hi Naruto. Come on in."

Hearing this, Sakura quickly starts the shower and hops right in.

~~~~Downstairs w/ Sasuke, Naruto and Sakura's mother~~~~

"Would you guys like some tea?" Sakura's mother smiles gently, towards the two gazing boys.

"No, thank you." Replies a cool and collected Sasuke.

"I don't want any tea. But, I could sure go for a soda right about now!" Naruto yells a little obnoxiously, laughing as if he were joking.

"I'm sorry.. I don't have soda. I could run down to the market and purchase some. If you would like."

"Ah.. No. No. I was just saying Mrs. Haruno." Naruto explains, shaking his head.

"Oh?" She laughs walking into the kitchen.

Naruto glances at the staircase and his heart skips a beat.

"S-Sakura?" He quietly says her name, feeling a bit nervous.

"Hey guys." She smiles widely.

Even though Naruto was nervous he knew for a fact that it wasn't actually Sakura. It was the outfit she wore.

Making her beauty radiant.

She wore a baby blue tank top, with a black leather vest, a thin black choker, a short black skirt, fishnet stockings, and knee-high boots.

"Sorry it took so long. I couldn't find anything to wear."

"Whatever. Lets go. I'm hungry." Sasuke grumbles.

"O-oh..sorry." Sakura apologizes, feeling bit silly for thinking Sasuke would think anything of the outfit she chose to wear.

"Yeah. I'm starved!" Naruto raises his voice happily, jumping up from the couch, walking over to Sakura, and quickly taking her hand.

Sakura looks away a little and blushes slightly.

"Agreed. I'm a bit hungry myself." She chuckles, feeling a little less uneasy.

*If Naruto weren't here, i wouldn't be able to keep myself together. I'm so lucky to have a friend like him.* Sakura thinks, smiling to herself, and squeezing Naruto's hand.

Looking back at her, Naruto smiles, walking out the door, they all bid Sakura's mother goodbye.

Walking into town. Sakura looks around excitedly, feeling a bit nervous.

*I wonder what Sasuke is thinking*

Glancing back, she notices Sasuke looking everywhere, but at her or Naruto.

*He doesn't seem to be enjoying himself..

Maybe i should say something.*

Slowing down to walk beside Sasuke, Sakura attempts to say something, but before she even opens her mouth, Sasuke opens his.

"What?"

"Umm.. Nothing. I was just thinking. We never decided on where we would eat."

"I don't really care." Sasuke says bluntly.

"Awe yeah! Then lets have Ichiraku Ramen!" Naruto yells, throwing his fist into the air.

"You always eat there Naruto." Sakura looks away in disappointment.

"Choose something esle knuckle-head." Sasuke mumbles, giving Naruto an annoying look.

Naruto quickly looks over and glares at Sasuke. Mumbling under his breathe.

"Fine.."

"There is a new restraunt that just opened up a few days ago. Not many people know about it, so they don't get a lot of business and they're not too crowded." Sakura explains.

"Then lets go." Naruto begins feeling anxious. "They better have good food Sakura."

"and if they don't?"

"Then you owe me."

Letting out a small laugh, Sakura nods her head in agreement, walking in front of them to lead the way.

After a few minutes, they come up to a brand-new looking restraunt named: Yama's.

"Wow.." Naruto's eyes gleam with excitement. "This place looks amazing Sakura."

"Yeah. I told you. Now, lets just hope they have amazing food too." She says, heading inside. With Naruto and Sasuke following behind.

As soon as the step in, the bell hanging on the door jingles, and all of the workers greet them in unison. "Welcome!"

"Hello." Sakura and Naruto quickly greet back.

Walking slowly into the restraunt, looking at there surroundings.

"It looks so fancy." Sakura lets out.

"But the food seems to be a decent price at least." Naruto chuckles.

"True."

Finally making it up to the counter, they both continue to look around as the cashier begins to speak.

"Welcome to Yamas. Will you be dining in or taking out?" The cashier asked in a smooth voice, with a smile on her face.

"Dine in" The both answer.

"Alright. Order whatever you'd like."

Looking up at the menu, they all begin to order one by one.

"Alright. Your order number is 424. It will be ready in just a few." She says, smiling and walking away to help prepare the food.

"Where should we sit?" Naruto questions, looking a bit confused.

"Doesn't matter. Sit anywhere." Sasuke grumbles, pushing by Naruto, and taking a seat in a quiet corner.

Naruto sits with him, and finally notices Sakura has gone missing.

"Sakura?" He stands up, calling out to her.

"She went to the restroom. Dummy.."

"Oh. Well, how in the hell was i suppose to know?" He yells, causing the few people in the restraunt to look in his direction.

Sitting down quickly from the embarrassement, he hangs his head slightly low.

"Idiot."

Returning from the restroom, Sakura sits down on the other side of the booth, by her lonesome.

"Has our order came out yet?" She questions, glancing back at the reciept with their number on it.

"Does it look like it?"

"I'm only wondering if she has called it. You and Naruto are so stupid sometimes you rarely pay attention to anything. I'll go check." Sakura say, explaining herself in a grumpy tone and walking up to the counter.

Returning with the food, she sits it down lightly on he table.

"She says it has been ready for about 10 minutes now." Sitting back down, Sakura removes her food from the red tray, and begins to eat slowly.

Unlike Naruto and Sasuke who crams their food into their mouths.

"Ah. So hungry!" Naruto muffles.

They slurp and sip away, while Sakura watches them with a look of ease on her face.

Feeling grateful to have friends such as them.

Several minutes pass, and they all finish up.

"That was delicious." Naruto lets out sigh of relief. "We should come here again."

"Yeah. That would be nice." Sakura smiles.

Sasuke sits there in silence. Which is no surprise to either of them.

*I wish he would do more than just sit there in silence all the time..* letting a sigh escape between her lips, she removes herself from the table to dump the tray.

"Wait Sakura, shouldn't we do that?" Naruto yells out.

"It's alright. I feel a bit bloated after eating so much food. So, a walk will do me good." She smiles, dumping the full tray carefully.

Placing the tray ontop of the trashcan stand, someone bumps into her roughly.

"Ah.." Looking back, all she notices is a black figure. "What the hell was that?"

Feeling a bit aggravated, she walks over to the figure, slamming her hand on the table where they sit.

"Excuse me! But incase you didn't notice, you bumped into me, and didn't even apologize." She raises her voice in frustration.

"My apologizes miss. Now please, leave me be."

"That's it?!"

Naruto approaches Sakura from behind, with Sasuke following.

"What's wrong Sakura?" Naruto questions, lightly placing his hand on Sakura's shoulder, signaling her to calm down.

"This guy bumped into me.."

"Excuse me sir, why did--"

The guy quickly cuts him off, getting up from the table.

"Please, stop bothering me. I said i was sorry, so buzz off." He leaves the restraunt hurriedly.

"Who was that bozo?" Sasuke questions following the guy with his eyes.

"Who cares?"

"I care, Naruto. Anyway, lets get out of here."

*That guy was seriously creepy..*

"Sakura? Sakura?!" Naruto calls out to her, but to no avail.

Feeling someone's hand touch her shoulder, she quickly switches to a defensive mode, twisting the wrist, and flipping the person over.

"Oh my god." She gasped. "I am so sorry Sasuke."

Holding and rubbing his shoulder laying on the ground, he groans a bit.

"It's fine.."

"Dang Sakura? Why'd you try to kill Sasuke"

"I wasn't trying to! It was an accident.."

Naruto laughs loudly. "Dang Sasuke. Sakura thought you were a pervert." Naruto teases.

"W-what?" A confused look crosses his face, and he looks away, slightly blushing.

"Sorry Sasuke." She chuckles nervously.

Helping him up, Naruto continues laughing, knowing what Sakura had thought.

"We should probably head home." Sakura suggest. "It's getting late."

"Yeah. You're right. We'll walk you home Sakura." Naruto says, giving a bashful smile.

"Thanks Naruto."

"No problem."

That's the end of this chapter. I'll begin the next one this week as well.
