"This is insane. How could they do this?" Reece asked, lifting his head up.
"I don't know. I knew Rog was dirty, but not this dirty." Mia said, wiping her tears. "You know it's bad when I'm moved to tears."
"No kidding." Autumn sniffled.
"Was this recent? Or did he just manipulate her and make her think she got on the board and got a pay rise?" Mia asked, running her hands through her hair.

Autumn sighed, and pushed her glasses up more. She grabbed her necklace and started playing with it, running the small charm up and down the chain.

"Yes and no." Autumn said. "This was done a week after Marjorie gave him hell. It was signed by Janice then. It wasn't signed off by our father until recently."
"Of fucking course." Reece said, shaking his head. "Puts a whole new meaning on conjugal visits."

Mia and Autumn started dying laughing, causing Reece to smirk at them. Reece joined in on the laughter. The three of them calmed down and sighed, Autumn going back to play with her necklace.

"Reecey, I'll bring you up to speed on our plan." Mia said, clearing her throat. "I'm gonna pretend I changed my mind, and I want to get back under Roger's..... leash. I'm gonna call a meeting with Janice. I want to bring Marjorie in, and let her go at Janice. Marjorie scares me when she's angry, and I don't get scared easily. I would even like for Marjorie to go and visit Rog, give him even more hell. I could probably seduce one of the cops into getting us a private room."

Reece paused for a second, really thinking about Mia's plan. He looked at Autumn and raised an eyebrow. Autumn nodded, and Reece looked back at Mia.

"I like it. I just don't know if Marjorie will be up for it. You saw her completely lose it 30 minutes ago." Reece sighed. "I'm not going to damage her mental health even further or cause harm to her in anyway."
"And that's valid." Mia nodded. "However, I think it's our only shot."
"Yeah. We're running out of options. It's not like we can stall the merger." Autumn said.
"I know. We're fucked." Reece said, running his hands through his hair. "It's just.... I can't bear to see her like this. It's killing me knowing how much this is hurting her. It's killing me that our fucking father is behind this."
"I know." Autumn said. "I've never seen her like this. I wish I knew what she's thinking. The best person for her right now is probably Charlotte. Charlotte sees through people so easily."
"Damn right." Mia said, covering her mouth.

Autumn raised her eyebrow at Mia, who was muttering 'fuck' over and over. Reece held back a laugh as he watched the redhead get all embarrassed.

"Would you like to share with the class?" Autumn asked.
"Fuck you." Mia said, playfully hitting Autumns arm.
"You two are killing me." Reece said, cracking a smile. "I'm gonna go check on my girl."

Reece got up and walked back into the office. He saw Marjorie's head in Charlottes lap, Charlotte gently playing with Marjorie's hair. Marjorie sat up when she saw Reece walk in, cracking a small smile.

"Hey." Reece said, putting his hands in his pockets.
"Hi." Marjorie said, tucking a hair behind her ear.

Charlotte got up and walked over to Reece, placing a hand on Reeces shoulder and squeezing it. She walked back out into the hall and met Autumn and Mia. Reece smiled and walked over to Marjorie, holding his hands out to Marjorie.

"Sorry." Marjorie sighed, grabbing his hands and pulling herself up.
"Don't apologize." Reece said. "This is not your fault."

"It feels like it is. Like I made a fucking fool of myself." Marjorie said, looking off to the side.
"You didn't. I assure you of that." Reece said, pulling her in close. "If you want to call yourself a fool, then go ahead. But just know that you're my fool, and only my fool."

Marjorie smiled at his cheesy comment, burying her head in his chest. Reece placed one hand on the back of her head, caressing it gently. He kissed the top of her head, holding her tight.

"Can we go home?" Marjorie asked, pulling back.
"Of course gorgeous." Reece said, smiling.
"Please tell me we have wine." Marjorie sighed.
"We do." Reece nodded.

Marjorie smiled and let go of Reece. Reece grabbed his keys and Marjorie's hand, walking out into the hall.

"We're going home." Reece said.
"Okay." Autumn nodded, walking closer to the couple.

Autumn threw her arms around Marjorie, and held her tight. Marjorie didn't want to cry again, so she looked up at the ceiling to avoid the tears from falling. Autumn pulled back, and gave Marjorie a gentle kiss on the cheek. Marjorie smiled, grabbing Autumns hand and squeezing it. Mia then walked closer to the couple, also throwing her arms around Marjorie. Marjorie was stunned, but didn't make any sudden movements. Mia pulled back, and then Charlotte hugged her too.

"Thank you." Marjorie said, looking at the three women in front of her.
"Of course." Autumn said.
"Gorgeous, why don't you go ahead and get in my car. I'll be right there." Reece said, handing the keys over to Marjorie.

Marjorie nodded and walked down the hall and outside to Reeces car. Reece watched her walk away, and then turned to face the three women in front of him. All three women wrapped their arms around him. Reece sighed as he pulled away, looking at all of the women.

"Thank you." Reece said.
"Of course. She may be your girl, but she's our girl too." Charlotte said, placing her hand on Reeces forearm.
"I know. I'm incredibly grateful for you guys." Reece nodded. "I'll let the rest of the group chat know."
"No need." Mia said, holding a finger up. "I'll take care of it. You just worry about Marjorie."
"Yeah." Autumn said, nodding. "Keep us updated. Don't hesitate to call one of us. Not saying that you will need us, but still."
"I will. Thank you guys once again." Reece said, sighing.

Reece walked away from the group and sighed. He walked down the hall and stopped at the end before opening the door to the outside. He looked back at the women, who were all conversing with each other. He turned back around and smiled, thinking about how it truly takes a village.
