I was laying down on Optimus's shoulder, looking at the screen that he was typing away at. It was all in Cybertronian language, so I couldn't understand it. The rest of the Autobots were on patrol, except for Ratch, who was at a computer as usual. The kids were at school. Optimus and I are no longer going there because the people who are in charge of the school believes that we transferred to another school. I'm glad about that. I hate school.
Ratchet is trying to figure out what happened to my eyes. They were still a dark blue than a light red. To tell you the truth, I like it. To me, it kinda shows that I'm an Autobot, because the Autobot's optics are blue. That, and I look more... human. I want my eyes to stay blue.
I thought of my father. I wonder how he is holding up. Not missing me, but the alcohol problem. Why did he treat me that way? Did I do something wrong? There was only one way to find out. "Hey, Optimus?"
"Yes?" He responded.
I sat up. "Are you going anywhere anytime soon?"
He turned his helm a little towards me. "Not to my aware. Why?"
"I need you to take me to my father's house."
His optics widen. "Your abusive father?"
I nodded. "He abused me for a reason. I need to find out why."
He was uncertain about taking me back to where I almost died because my father willingly shot me. That and he was about to kill me and Optimus back in my room. "Optimus, please." I said desperately.
I knew he wouldn't want to take me there. He eventually sighed and nodded. "When?"
"Now would be a good time." I said.
He nodded. He put his servo in front of me and I got on. Then he lowered me to the ground and I got off. He transformed and I got in. We were on our way to my father's house.
.................................................................
Optimus was slowing to a stop as we were pulling up at father's house. I didn't see his car, so he must not be here. To say that I was scared was an understatement. "Are you sure about this, Amber?" Optimus asked me.
"I'm positive." I said as I got out and went to the rocks that was around the front of the house. I heard Optimus activating his holoform as I bent down to move a rock. He walked over as I picked up the rock, but immediately drop it and jumped back as I saw a big spider under it. It ran away as I dropped the rock. Optimus looked at me with confusion. I chuckled. "It was a spider." I said. "I don't like spiders."
I bent down and pick up the rock again and grabbed the key that was in the middle. I put the rock back down and walked over to the front door. Optimus followed me asking, "How do you know if the key still work?" He asked me.
I knew what he ment. My father could have changed the door knob and just left the key where it was. "I don't." I replied as I put the key in the lock, then turned it to the left. I slowly turned the knob and the door opened. "Yes!" I said as I went in with Optimus behind me. He shut the door behind him as I walked in the living room. Beer bottles were everywhere, on the table and on the floor. I walk up the stairs and walked towards my father's room. I stopped in front of his door. I didn't sense any auras behind the door, so slowly, I opened it. My father's room looked chaotic. Clothes, beer bottles, and cigarettes were littered everywhere. I walked in and started to search. "What are you doing?" Optimus asked me.
I looked under the bed, my eyes quickly adjusted. "Searching for anything that connects to me." I replied.
"Need anything?" He asked me.
I got up. "My clothes would be good." I replied.
He nodded and went to my bedroom. A couple of minutes passed and I looked everywhere, but there was nothing. I went to walk out of the room when I noticed a drawer with a lock on it. Curiosity, I went over to it. I put my finger on the lock and heat it up. About a minute later, I stopped, put my hand on the handle, and pulled it, opening the drawer. There were papers neatly stacked in the middle. I pulled out one of the papers and looked at it. I gasped in shocked and my heart fell.

"Oh... my..." I whispered to myself. Was he experimenting on teenagers? I ran into my bedroom to see Optimus sitting on my bed. "Optimus?" I said worried. He looked up. "What's wrong?"
"This was where you basically saved my life." He told me.
"I'm glad I did." I replied with a smile.
He looked at my hand that had the paper. "What is that?"
I handed it to him. "Read for yourself." I said. I walked to a corner and grabbed my backpack that hadn't been used yet. I went to the other side of my room and grabbed my laptop and the charger, then put it in my backpack. I looked at Optimus. He had a shocked expression on his face. "I know." I said. I went back to my father's room and grabbed all of the papers and put them in the bag. I zipped my backpack up and put it on.
I walked to Optimus. "We need to go. My father could be home any minute."
He nodded and we went back outside to the truck. I locked the door and put back the key. Optimus's holoform disappeared as the truck started. His door opened and I got in. He drove out of the driveway and we headed back to base.
A/N: I removed the disks deal because I don't think that it was... necessary. Also, I am working on the next chapter and I think it is halfway done.
