"Ratchet, are you sure this is the place?" I asked through the ear piece.

     "Positive." He said back. "Those coordinates are where the signal is coming from."

     "Yeah, well... My senses says otherwise." I replied

     Ever since the Autobots learned of my abilities, I have been assigned to 'scout' places. Miko has been asking me tons of questions about what I can do, but either Optimus or Ratchet comes to the rescue. Ratchet has been curious about my powers as well, but he doesn't ask a whole lot of questions. His way of asking questions is scanning me constantly. Also, by telling me to do this or do that with my abilities. He is trying to figure out what I am. Only because I asked him to. I was curious as well because normal people don't have red eyes, abilities like a Dragon and able to control fire.

     I told Optimus about my powers when we were alone. He was shocked about my powers, and ever since, he trains me using my powers. I am able to control my powers more now. Also, I discovered some things that I could do with my powers as well, like melting cybertronian metal in five minutes, much to Ratchet's surprise.

     Today, Ratchet detected a weird signal in the middle of nowhere, and since the others were on their own mission, I would go check it out, so here I am, looking around for the source. I haven't found anything yet.

    "Clearly, you missed something." Ratchet said annoyed.

    "I promise, Ratchet, I've looked every--" I stopped when I started to feel an aura, but it was weak.

     "What is it?" Ratch asked.

     "I'm feeling an aura, but it's weak." I said, looking to my left. "Going to investigate." I said as I started to walk towards the source.

     "Do I need to do anything?"

     I was a little surprised, but ignored it. "Just check on the others. See how they are doing."

     I kept walking forward. The aura was getting stronger, meaning I was getting closer. Suddenly, Ratch comn me. "Amber, we may have a situation." I could hear the worry in his voice.

     I stopped in my tracks. "What's wrong?"

     "I can't reach Optimus." Red flags go up in my mind. Something bad happened to him. He could be hurt. "Tell the others to look for him at his last known location. I'm getting closer to the aura. Hopefully, it's Optimus." I said. I started to run. The 'cons are the only ones who could hurt Optimus, and if they think they can get away with it, they are terribly mistaken.

     I kept running until I saw a cave. I stopped in front of the cave. The aura was coming from inside of the cave. I comn Ratchet. "Ratch, the aura is coming from inside of a cave. I have to go inside in order to find it. I may lose contact with you guys until I come back out."

     "Do you need back-up?" He asked me.

     "No, I don't think so." I said

     "Be careful."

     "I will" I looked in the cave. "Here goes nothing." I said to myself before I walked in the cave.

     "Where are your fellow comrades?"

     I walked over to the sound carefully. I hid behind a rock and took a look. I quietly gasp. I saw Optimus on the ground, wounds everywhere on him. They were bleeding Energon. There was a Decepticon with pedes like high heel shoes. There were some kind of jet wings on his back. He stepped forward to Optimus. That's when I saw the con's servo. They were dripping with Energon.

     I quietly snarled. Optimus and I made eye contact. I knew he was wanting to tell me to run, but he couldn't without alerting the con where I am. I put a finger to my lips, telling him to be quite. "Keep him distracted." I mouthed to him, nodding at the bot in front of him.

     He blinked his optics twice in understanding. "Well?" The con said to Optimus. I looked up at the ceiling. There was some icicles-looking rocks. If I could get the con under them, I could shoot them down on top of the Deception, pinning him down, and buy me time to get Optimus out of here.

     "Never, Starscream." Optimus said to him. I picked up a rock and threw it across, under the rocks. It made a clattering sound. Starscream jumped and yelped. I was trying my best to bust out laughing. I can see how he got the 'scream' part in his name.

     Starscream walks over and picked it up. He has no idea that he was right where I wanted him to be. I quickly made a ball of fire in both hands, and threw them at the rocks above him. The fire balls hit their marks, sending a lot of rocks on him. I don't know how long that would hold him.

     I quickly ran over to Optimus. He looked at me. "You need to get out of here." He said to me weakly.

     I looked at him in his optics. "Not without you." I said defiantly. I looked at his wounds. I'm not sure if I can heal them until we can get to Ratchet. Optimus looked to his left and his optics widen. "Amber, look out!" He shouted to me.

    Before I could react, I felt pain exploded in my right side and I was sent flying off Optimus and hit the ground, rolling to a stop. I yelled out in pain. "Pathetic." I heard Starscream said.

     I got up in a sitting position and looked at the con in the optics, groaning in pain. He looked at me with a shocked expression. "You're not human." He said to me, looking at my right side.

     I followed his gaze and my eyes widen. My blood wasn't red. It was purple. "I am curious about you, but I have no need of you." He said to me. "Have fun dying." He transformed into a jet and flies out of the cave. I look at Optimus weakly. He was looking at me with worry and... regret?

     I put my hand on my knee and struggled to stand. I gritted my teeth in pain, but I managed to stand up. I could feel the blood streaming down my leg. I could see Optimus trying to stand. Keyword: trying. "Don't, Optimus. Save your energy." I said, dragging my leg to him weakly.

     He stopped and look at me. "You are badly hurt." He said to me.

     "So are you." I said. I looked at his wound and mine. I closed my eyes, then open them back up. I could see flames on my wound. I growled in pain as the flames were healing my side. When the flames disappeared, my side was fully healed. There wasn't even a mark. I looked at Optimus. I didn't know how to heal him. The only way to help him is to go back up to the surface and contact Ratchet. If I do that, Optimus would be defenceless and I wouldn't be able to protect him. Starscream would probably hiding somewhere.

     Suddenly, images floods through my head. There was a little girl close to a cybertronian, who was hurt. She put her hands together in front of her as if she was making a ball. There was a orange glow coming from her hands. When she removed her top hand, there was small dragons made of fire. The dragons jumped out of her hand and got on the transformer. They went on the cuts and holes and started glowing. When the glowing stopped, the dragons disappeared, but the wounds on the transformer were gone. They were healed.

     My vision went back to normal as I stumbled back a little. What was that? Optimus was looking at me with worry. "I'm okey." I said smiling.

     I climbed on him, avoiding the cuts and holes that were on him. Once I got to his knee, I sat down. I put my hands in front of me and put them together, like I saw the kid do. I closed my eyes and imagine small fire dragons in my hands.

     I started to feel warmth coming from my hands. I open my eyes and looked at my hands. When I removed my top hand, I saw fire dragons gathered around in my hands, but they weren't going to Optimus's wounds.

     "Heal Optimus Prime's wounds" I mentally said to the dragons. To my surprise, they flew out of my hands and landed on Optimus. They... I guess you could say ran... to his wounds and lay on them. I saw that some wounds were covered by two or more dragons. I have to admit, this was cute. The dragons started to flow. When they stopped glowing, they disappeared, but to my relief, Optimus was completely healed.

     "Can you stand?" I asked.

     He seemed uncertain, but he nodded. To my relief, he was able to stand up with no problem. He didn't even look like he was in any pain. I couldn't help but smile. "What do you say we get back to base?"

     He nodded with a smile. He got on one knee and put his servo on the ground for me to climb on. I got on and he stood. He put his hand close to his shoulder for me. I got off his hand on onto his should. Then we made our way out of the cave.

     We got out of the cave. I look up. When I went in the cave, it was daytime, now it was night time. I could see the stars shining brightly in the sky. I purred. Optimus looked at me. "What?" I asked.

     "What are you purring about?" He asked me.

     I looked back up at the stars. "The stars."

     He looked at me with a confused expression. "What about them?"

     "I don't know. Whenever I look at them, I feel... calm. Like I have nothing to worry about. Rays of light in darkness..."

     "Hope." Optimus finished.

     I looked at him. "Yeah."

     Suddenly, we hear Ratchet's voice coming through the comns. "I swear to Primus, if either of you don't pick up right now...!"

     I chuckled as I activated my comn. "You'll do what?"

     I could hear him sigh in relief. "Thank primus! Are you okay? Did you find Optimus?"

     I chuckled again. "I'm alright, Ratch. And yes, I found Optimus."

     "I'm sending a Groundbridge." I looked at Optimus. He had a frighten expression on his face. "What's wrong?" I asked.

     He shook his helm. "Nothing is wrong, Amber."

     I wasn't convinced, but decided to forget about it as a Groundbridge opened in front of us. I walked over to the Groundbridge. I stopped and turned around. "You coming?"

     He nodded. I walked through the Groundbridge. Optimus was thinking about the dream that he had last night. It didn't feel like a dream, it felt like a memory. A vision.

     "I swear to the last glimmer of my spark...

      That no one will ever corrupt you."
