Chan, Minho, Jeongin and Seungmin have been gone for over a week now and everyone was getting worried. Including me. They were supposed to be coming back really soon, but we still haven't gotten any contact with them. There hasn't happened very much in the last week. I got closer to Changbin, Jisung and Hyunjin. They're great. Jisung and Changbin are getting really comfortable with me. And by that, I mean they're starting to tease me and make fun of me. But the teasing goes both ways. It's usually me and Felix against Jisung and Changbin. Changbin never insults Felix though. They're quite close now and often talk after everyone has fallen asleep. I'm happy Felix has found someone he can trust with everything that's going though his mind.

The evenings have been cold lately. My mind has been coming back to where the 'scout' group has been.

'Hey, why are you sitting alone? You know the second floor is always colder' I saw Hyunjin coming over to me with a blanket in his arms. He sat down next to me in the reading corner by the window and handed me the blanket. I took it over my shoulders and smiled.

'Thanks Jinnie. Have you eaten yet?' He shook his head.

'We try to keep our food supplies above critical, we never know if...' he drifted off not wanting to finish the sentence. I nodded understanding that there's always a risk that they wont be coming back.

'Hyunjin, you're good at fighting right? Could you teach me? I don't want to be dependable on anyone in order to survive.' I looked at him thoughtfully and he smiled to me.

'But I'm your prince on the white stallion that will always save you from monsters' he said jokingly but then nodded 'alright, we can start tomorrow'. I laughed at his answer. He always made me laugh and feel better about myself.

'There's one more thing. I have something for you Lex' he took a book from behind his back and gave it to me. Books were rare these days, most of them destroyed to make fires. I took the book slowly in awe. It was Chronicles of Narnia book, all seven of them in one. I giggled, because that was my favorite childhood book. I threw my arms around Hyunjin's neck thanking him. He hugged me back.

'I'm happy you like it' he said to me while I pulled back from the hug. Our eyes met and we smiled to each other fondly. Then I heard someone clear his throat. I looked to my side and Felix was standing there.

'Come on Alex, food is ready. You too Hyunjin.' He said with his arms crossed in front of his chest and a smirk on his face. We walked downstairs finding Jisung and Changbin already eating their food hungrily. I sat down by Jisung and snickered at his eating. He looked at me offended.

'What's so funny?'

'You look like a squirrel with your cheeks stuffed' I laughed at him poking his stuffed cheeks and he coughed hard.

'I DO NOT' he stood up and Changbin laughed.

'You do' he said and we fist-bumped, while Felix and Hyunjin agreed to Changbin's comment.

The next day me and Hyunjin went outside. Since we were on the outside of the woods, we needed to stay quiet but could still have fun. He started to show me some weapons that I could use to defend myself. He said that I was a natural with a bow, so we agreed to stick with it. He stood behind me fixing my position. He was really close to me and I felt something weird in my stomach, but I tried to ignore it as much as possible.

'And let it go' he said quietly in my ear. I felt my cheeks getting hot, but I focused on the target that Hyunjin painted on a tree. I shot the arrow and hit the bullseye. My jaw dropped and I looked at Hyunjin amazed. He laughed and lifted me up and span me around celebrating. I laughed along holding onto his shoulders. It's a while since I've had this much fun. He put me down after a short while and I had to hold on to him, because my head was still spinning.

'I'm sorry, are you okay?' he chuckled holding my shoulders waiting for me to get my balance back. I nodded and took a new arrow aiming. We spent most of the daylight like this and after every shot Hyunjin praised me for how good I was.

It started to get colder as the sun set and we went inside. Felix, Jisung and Changbin were sitting in the living room chatting. I went over to Jisung and sat down next to him. He took his arm around me and smiled while brushing snow off my hair.

'You were quite good, you know' he said, and I thanked him. I closed my eyes and felt the exhaustion come over me. I slowly fell asleep.

Felix's p.o.v

Alex and Jisung were becoming best friends fast. They were so alike sometimes that I'm not even surprised. Changbin was also getting attached to her. But I'm still not quite sure about what's happening between Hyunjin and Alex. I think I know what it is, but he's trying to hide it from me and it's not working. It's quite obvious that he likes her. Before Chan went with the group, he told me that I must keep Alex away from all possible danger. This is going to get sticky when he comes back. What should I do?

I heard Changbin calling my name and I snapped out of my trance and looked at him.

'Felix? Felix. What are you thinking about?' He asked and I sighed while looking down.

'I think Alex likes Hyunjin.'

'So?'

'And she likes Chan as well'

'Oh.. That's not good..'

'Yeah... So I don't know what do to. I don't want our group to split up because of that... And yet I can't deny her to fall in love with someone.'

'That's true.' Changbin sighed and looked up at the ceiling while thinking. 'Even if I haven't known her for long, I think she will choose before it makes any problems. She's smart. And Chan wouldn't do anything that would tear the group apart either. You know that Felix, right? Stop overthinking.' He smiled to me and I felt him kiss my forehead. I looked silently at him and found him smiling warmly at me. I couldn't help but look down and smile myself.
