Bucky was crimson... and he still didn't look half as bad as Steve.

Apart from the tv blaring in the background, you'd have been able to hear a pin drop in the room, which says a lot. No one could draw their eyes away from the two super soldiers.

"Did I say that ? ...Out loud ?" Bucky murmured.

Everyone nodded their heads in unison. Not even Natasha could think of anything else to say.

"You have been keeping it a secret for long enough, it's about time everyone knew." You piped up.
Everyone turned around to face you, even Steve and Bucky, and it was your turn to feel embarrassed and in the spotlight."

"You knew about the two of them ?!" Clint almost shrieked.

"Oops."
You were never supposed to know about the two of them. It was just a wrong place, wrong time situation... or a right place, right time situation, depending on how you look at it. But either way, you found out about the two of them. From that moment forward you'd sworn to never tell anyone about the two of them, or the fact you'd known from the beginning. You guessed it was a little late for that now.
The silence lingered on as tension built up like building blocks as everyone shifted their gaze, waiting for someone else to speak first.

"Not even Natasha knew about this and she's both of their best friends. And may I add, she's an elite master assassin/spy," Tony stated, leaning against the wall as if all this information was going to make him swoon.

You shrugged your shoulders.
"I didn't voluntarily find out... I just stumbled upon them and promised to keep my mouth shut about the matter."

"I want details ! Spill." Natasha smiled. It was the type of smile that if it creeps onto someone's face, you should run...And run far.

"Shall I make popcorn ?" Clint joked.

Everyone turned to look at you as if you were about to unveil the eighth wonder of the world. You felt awkward about just remembering the event, never mind explaining it to everyone, especially in the presence of Steve and Bucky.

"Come on guys." Steve said, holding his head in his hands.

"Were all adults here." Natasha smiled. "-maybe except Tony."

"That is deeply offensive and very rude." Tony stated. You saw him trying to keep the smile off his face and watched as he failed miserably.

"Come on then (Y/N)! Spill the details." Natasha beamed.

"...I'm going to get a shower, I'll leave you to debate on the details of stucky." You said.

"STUCKY ?! I heard someone say stucky !" Sam burst into the room like a falcon, no pun intended, and smiled from ear to ear with this new 'news' that had been mentioned.

"Stucky! I ship it." Natasha and Clint joked.

"Well as much as I ship it, all I'm seeing here is that everyone's in cute relationships and I'm in a three-way with pizza and sleeping." Clint remarked.

In all the confusion and jokes that were flying left, right and centre, you managed to slip out the room. Tony followed and you both walked side by side down the corridor.

"Captain America and the Winter Soldier." Tony stated, slipping his hands into his pockets.
You nodded and carried on walking side by side towards the elevator.

"- If hydra could see this." He laughed.

You both stepped into the elevator and watched as the doors shut behind you. It felt like you were in a Bond movie.
You laughed at your thought, the slightest thing could make your mind run away on a tangent. But who cares ? Reality is boring.

You noticed Tony smiling at you, watching your every breath and slight movement, as if it was the last time he was going to ever going to see you. As if he was trying to paint a mental image of every inch of your body, scared that he might forget.

You smiled at him again before the elevator slammed to a halt. It was quite clear that the elevator had stopped, but instead of taking the matter into account and trying to do something, Tony just stood smiling.

"You looked at the buttons and screen on the elevator wall, and there were no signs of anything going wrong, no alarms blaring, no 'system failure' plastered on the touchscreen panel, no red light flashing like a room had just gone into lockdown; the elevator had just stopped.

You fixed your gaze on Tony.

"What's the word for an excessive desire to kiss someone ?" He asked, locking eyes with you.

"I think it's 'basorexia' but I-hmph"

Tony's lips met yours. It took you by surprise for some reason, but you quickly realised you were kissing him back. The sensation evoked wild tremors along your nerves. The kiss made it feel like every other kiss you'd ever had was wrong.

His tongue slipped into your mouth, gentle but still demanding. You suddenly understand why people describe kissing as melting because every square inch of you body felt like it was dissolving into his.

He pushed you against the elevator wall, filling the closeness between the two of you. He moved one of his hands to your neck, his fingers brushing against your skin.
Your fingers gripped his hair, pulling him closer to you, if that was even possible. You felt breathless and your heart beat faster than ever before.

You pulled apart to breathe and gazed into each other's eyes like you were in a cheesy romance novel. You could tell he was filled with lust and desire. Your bodies were still pressed against each other, so close that you could feel his breath on your skin.
He hummed, his voice low and husky. "We should really stop. You need that shower and all."
You grinned at him, pulling at his hair and kissing him again, more urgently this time. As if your life depended on this kiss. He smelt like Tony; Ground coffee, designer cologne and mechanical oil.
His hand moved to your waist, holding you firmly where you where.
You suppose a broken elevator in the avengers tower wasn't the most romantic of settings, and you and Tony hadn't even told anyone you were going out yet, and you really needed to go and get ready to go to the carnival, but you couldn't bear to pull apart from him. You could tell he felt the same way. For once in your life, you had someone that you truly loved and was truly yours and you would let the world crash and burn before you let someone take him away from you.

You pulled apart from him so you could whisper in his hear.
"I guess we need to go and get ready...but I really don't want to leave you."

He planted one more quick kiss on your lips and the two of you pulled apart, breathing heavily.

Tony pulled his phone out of his back pocket and pressed a few buttons and the elevator came back to life.

You ran your fingers through your hair, trying to comprehend the scene that'd just unravelled. You were breathless and felt flustered and your heart still beat faster than it had before. The elevator doors opened well after it was supposed to.

You both walked, hand in hand, to your door. You leant on your doorframe and Tony looked into your eyes.

"I better go and get that shower." You smirked.

Tony nodded, letting go of your hand. "I guess I'd better go and get a shower too, we've got a carnival to go to."

As much as you both needed to go and get ready, neither of you would move from where you were stood.

"Like Romeo and Juliette." You stated, laughing slightly.

Tony smiled at you and lowered his head so he could whisper in your ear. His voice was low again, a tone that seemed intimidating but full of lust. "We are so much better than Romeo and Juliette. I just need to prove it to you." He kissed your cheek and smiled, turning on his heals and heading off down the hall to his room.
You smiled at him and headed into your room.

You'd got your shower, dried your hair, put on some makeup and chosen your outfit in under half the time you'd expected yourself to take.
You were wearing a rust orange oversized knit sweater, some ripped jeans, orange socks that perfectly matched your jumper and a pair of black doc martens. Tumblr would be proud.

You sat at down at your desk and picked up your phone, scrolling through Facebook but finding nothing interesting and putting your phone down again. Just as you did, there was a ping and your phone screen lit up.

'Shopping and lunch tomorrow ?' ~Hannah

You smiled and typed back:
'Yeah sure... just the three of us ?'

'Yeah cool... you're paying btw' ~ Hannah

You sighed but laughed. You should've really seen that coming.
There was still a while before you'd been told to be ready for, so you glanced around your room, looking for something to do. Your eyes landed on your sketchbook and you smiled, walking over to where it sat on top of one of your chests of drawers and picked it up. You sat back down and brushed a strand of hair from your face.

You flicked through the pages, looking for the drawing you'd most recently started. It was a drawing of Tony in the lab, holding one of his Iron man helmets as if he was Yorick in Act 5, scene 1 of Hamlet.

You carried on with the shading on his hair, trying to make it look as realistic as the face and helmet.
You were too busy drawing that you didn't hear him knock on the door for the first time, or the second, or the third.

"(Y/N) ?!" He shouted from the other side of the door.

You finally looked up, wondering to yourself how long he'd been stood there.
You quickly got up and checked yourself in the mirror before heading to your door and opening it with a smile.

"Finally." He stated, his arms folded across his chest.
Instead of looking fierce or intimidating he just looked cute. You just kept smiling at him, making him lose his angry stance and stern look and break into a smile.

"You look cute." He smiled.

"I know." You replied, laughing and spinning like a really bad catwalk model.
He was wearing some dark blue jeans, his black sabbath tee and some black boots. He had a black hoodie hung over his arm that you made a mental note to steal at some point.

You gave him a quick kiss on the cheek and headed into your room. He followed you in with an offended look on his face.

"Is that all I get. What am I ? Your gay best friend ?" He exclaimed.

You laughed at him, covering your face and sitting down because you were blushing and laughing too much.

"Maybe... I always thought you and Cap seemed a bit too close to be 'just friends.'" You smirked.

"You are definitely going to find out that I am far from gay." He retorted with a grin.

"That's a great line. Really great. Do you use that with all your girls ?" You sarcastically replied.

"I'm starting to think I'd prefer capcicle." He stated.

You laughed at him again and gave him a quick kiss on the lips,before turning back to your sketchbook. You picked up your pencil, but Tony saw the book and took it from you. He inspected the drawing that you did, marvelling at it and smiling in awe. After looking at the drawing of him for what seemed like forever, he turned to the front of your sketchbook, spending time looking carefully at each individual drawing that you'd done.

(Y/N) these are amazing !" He chimed. "- I personally think the Tony Stark drawing is the best."

"Of course you would." You smiled.

"Honestly this is amazing, this whole thing is amazing." He said, holding your sketchbook in the air."

"I'm thinking of starting a new sketchbook dedicated to you guys." You gleamed.

He smiled and nodded, placing your sketchbook on your desk. "- I'll obviously be in it most, won't I."

"Sure you will." You gave him a sympathetic pat on the back and you both cracked up. His laugh was so precious that it made you feel like he was too good for the world.

"What time are we leaving ?" You asked him.

"Any minute now, 'Tasha's going to text me when everyone's ready."

"Sounds good." You replied, moving towards Tony as he pulled you in close to him and gently rubbed your arm. Your stomach fluttered at the feeling of your body against his and you smiled, appreciating the simple gesture. You'd always loved hugs, it was a simple thing that made you feel happy inside, no matter how bad you were feeling. It made the world around you a little less bleak. It made you feel a little safer.

You felt his phone buzz in his pocket but for a minute neither of you moved away.

He decided to eventually move and check his phone, looking at the message that Natasha had sent.
'Were all ready when you are :-)'

"Are you ready to go ?" Tony smiled.

Even though he was trying to keep his cool composure, his childlike giddiness was gleaming through the cracks.

"Of course. I'll be going on every ride there, eating a crap-ton of candy floss and candy, then regretting the whole thing Immediately after !" You giggled.

You supposed you were just exited as Tony was, even though you were a bit better at hiding it. You didn't understand why Tony was as exited as he was when he had an iron man suit, but you just let him be.

You took his arm and smiled as if you were a rich Victorian couple as you picked up your phone and backpack then headed out of the room towards the elevator. The doors opened and he ushered you inside, making the two of you laugh so much that your sides hurt.

You both moved apart slightly before the doors opened to where everyone was.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The whole atmosphere was entrancing and filled with unrestrained joy: Bright neon lights, carnival games, stalls, rides. Adults, children, teens. The carnies laughed as a middle aged man handed over another five dollar note, determined to win this time. Even after loosing he remained in high spirits, scratching his head and laughing. The children tugged on their parents' jackets to take them on another ride or play another game of hook-a-duck. Girls batted at their eyelashes at their boyfriends as they handed over the last of their candy floss. Adrenaline junkies queued up for another ride, running their hands through their windswept hair and grinning.
"So what do you wanna go on first?" Tony asked, looking around him at every ride and stall there was.
"I want to ride that." Bucky smirked, pointing at Steve who began choking on the very air that had entered his lungs.
"Could you possibly go one fucking day without being gay ?" Tony retorted.
" I'm sorry but you're asking too much," Bucky laughed. "I've been compressing it for too long... I'm like Elsa"
You laughed at Bucky's comment as he laced his fingers with Steve's.
"Well I see a shooting game over there and there's a prize that I want. Coming Nat ?" Clint spoke.
Natasha's eyes lit up as she smiled and sassily flicked her hair. "Of course."
The two of them headed off into the chaos. With the money from Stark and the skills from their training and bad-assery, there was no carnival game that they couldn't win. They knew every trick and skill and loved winning all the prizes.
"Ohmygosh Tony let's go on that !!" You squealed, seeing a massive ride in the distance that you pointed at.
"You're mad" Loki stated, folding his arms across his chest and looking st you sceptically.
"Brother, you use the bifrost all the time. One of Midgard's rides would be nothing compared to that." Thor spoke up.
"Oh no. The bifrost is fine. That's not." Loki replied.
"Well me and vision are going to get some food so we'll meet you later." Wanda smiled, holding hands with vision, who was earning multiple strange looks from passers-by.
"You two have fun." You smiled at her and vision, who was starting to feel agitated at all the sideways glances and comments.
"We will." Vision said as he was about to guide Wanda towards some food stalls.
"Wait !" Loki piped up.
Vision and Wanda turned around, eyeing Loki strangely because of his sudden outburst.
Loki uncrossed his arms and flicked his hand, a flash of green light appearing and encircling vision for a split second before it disappeared.
"It's a perception filter. People will see you, but they won't draw their attention to you. It's rather useful." He said, smiling completely unlike himself.
After the two of them smiled and left, you leaned over towards Loki, trying to contain your laughter.
"You stole that from Doctor Who." You stated.
He threw his hands up in defence and grinned.
"Nerds." Sam remarked, rolling his eyes.
Everyone remaining with you headed past rides and stalls to the humongous ride that you'd set your gaze on. You and Tony walked slightly ahead of Sam, Thor and Loki, and every so often his hand would brush against yours. Once in a while you stopped at a stall to buy candy or watch someone try and win the grand prize on a clearly rigged carnival game.
You stopped and watched someone who was transfixed with a ring toss game.Whoever this man was, he was adamant on winning the grand prize of a new iPhone.
"It can't be that difficult." He muttered to himself handing over more money to the smirking carnie who exchanged the money for some plastic red rings.
With every ring he threw, he became more enraged. The whole spectacle was hilarious for you, Sam and Tony, even though you felt rather bad for the guy for losing so much money.
"Hey buddy, I'd leave it if I were you." Tony stated.
The man just grunted and dismissed Tony's comment, rummaging around his pocket to find a crumpled note that he handed over and took more rings.
Loki stepped forward, a glimmer in his eye. He handed over some money and graciously accepted the plastic rings. Thor folded his arms over his chest and rolled his eyes, already aware of his brothers plan.
The carnie smirked and placed the money in the box, along with his other night's earnings.
"Go on then. I'd like to see you try." The other man scoffed.
Loki smirked at the man then turned to the prizes, his gaze landing on the iPhone that the man so badly wanted.
He threw the red ring and it threw through the air, landing easily around the iPhone and rendering both the man and the carnie speechless.
"That's impossible!" The carnie fumed, running his hand through his long, unkept hair and scratching the back of his neck.
"Are we not seeing the same thing ?" Loki retorted, smirking as the carnie was five minutes ago.
The carnie reluctantly sighed and slowly handed over the prize. The man gawked at the sight of 'his' prize been given to someone else. He stormed off into the crowd of bustling people, making you laugh.
Loki held the phone out to you and you looked up at him with a quizzical expression on your face.
"I have no need for it." He spoke, handing it to you.
You smiled and accepted, thanking him and putting the phone in your bag.
You were about to turn around to Tony, when you realised he wasn't in sight. It was almost as if he'd disappeared from where he stood, and you furiously spun in circles looking for him in the crowd.
"Where did he go ? Where's Tony ?!" You panicked.
You began to push past people, separating yourself from Sam, Thor and Loki as you scavenged the crowd.
After realising you'd gone too far, you tried to turn back, but every face was unfamiliar to you, and now Sam, Thor and Loki had disappeared too. You looked at the carnie, soon realising that the
