Rumer stayed home while the boys went and harassed a bus of innocent and perfectly ignorant cheerleaders and football players. Though it sounded like incredible fun, she had a plan in mind, and being identifiable was not part of said plan.
Rumer found the opportunity to get ready while Tabitha and Barbara were having their - distracting - fun with the mayor. She stood in the bathroom flat-ironing her hair -it's easier to mess up that way - and spraying it every once in a while to make it manipulative while out of it's naturally curly state.
She finished her hair and walked out of her private bathroom in black stockings and a white button-up shirt. "I need to walk in unexpected more often." Jerome said, scaring Rumer and closing the door so no one else could see her half covered body, "Yeah, sure. Do you think you can run down to the precinct with me?" Rumer asked, rummaging through her vast closet and pulling out a black uniform-like skirt, "I need to speak to Detective Gordon."
Jerome sat on her bed, squinting and smiling, "And why would you want to give yourself up?" He asked her curiously as he watched her get herself together. "The lack of faith you have in me really stings, Kid. Hits me right here." She said feigning sadness and gesturing to her heart. "I'm a transfer, I have committed no crimes in Gotham yet. And I changed my picture in the computer at Arkham. I'm the only one with the code to change it. So I, am a fresh face." Rumer said, smiling at herself in the mirror while she checked her outfit for credibility.
Jerome got up and stood behind Rumer with a laugh, "You're insane! So, what are we saying to Gordon?" Rumer then grabbed a bag full of clothes before meeting Jerome's eyes in the mirror. "I'm goin in alone Kid."

Jim sat down, missing Harvey more than ever. He'd just released the kids that were held up by the Maniax after questioning the ones who weren't crying too hard to talk.
All he wanted was a little peace and qui- "Help! Help me! Is Detective Gordon here? Please!" Jim groaned and opened his eyes, a girl, around eighteen was standing in the entrance of the precinct, her short hair a mess, her eyes wild and scared, holes in her tights, and her clothes in disarray.
He almost ignored her, almost hid beneath her desk until she left, but the tears streaming down her face wouldn't let him. "I'm Detective Gordon. What can I help you with?" Jim asked as he made his way to her.
When the girl saw his face, vshe ran half of the length to him, "Are you Mr. Jim Gordon?" Jim nodded, grabbing her arms to steady her, "Yes, what happened? Are you okay?" Tears leaked out of her eyes like faucets, "Th-the Maniax! They, they tried to snatch me up. It was the three with the straight jackets on, and then there was a m-man he had on a nice suit and his hair was slicked back." She said starting to calm down a little bit.
Jim looked at her curiously, "How'd you escape?" She lifted a shaky shoulder, "My daddy gave me this before he died." She said as she pulled a gun out of the waistband of her skirt. Jim held her hand down and smiled at the surrounding - and attentive - officers. "Okay, but, why me? Why would you want to tell me? Is this a message? A warning?"
The girl shook her head, a sad smile on her face, "Detective Gordon, you're the last good man we have left in Gotham. If anyone can catch these monsters, I'm hoping it's you. I haven't seen the man on t.v. I think he's an accomplice." Jim nodded to himself, "Alright, and what's your name?"The girl sniffled, "Anastasia Razen." Jim nodded, "Okay, Anastasia, I will try my hardest to catch these men and put them behind bars." The girl smiled a genuine smile and threw her arms around Jim, "Thank you so much! I finally feel hope Mr. Gordon."
She went to walk away and almost stumbled into Ed. "Oh, I'm so sorry Mister, I'm a bit of a klutz." She said helping him pick up his papers, "No problem. You know when the sky is clumsy?" He asked her, smiling, "No. When?" She asked seeming genuinely curious. "When the rain drops."
The girl laughed, "Oh I love riddles!" Ed smiled, helping her up, "That's refreshing to hear. I'm Edward Nygma. You are?" The girl smiled, "Anastasia Razen. I have to leave, but I'd love to speak with you at another time." Ed smiled, "You can find me up here throughout the day. Or in the phone book. Right, under N."
The girl smiled, "I look forward to speaking with you again, Ed." She said, waving as she left.
Rumer walked outside and was met with Jerome, "How'd it go?" Rumer took the bag and smiled, "Fabulously. And I made a friend. Now we have a few stops to make, but then we're off to Oswald's."
