"I'm sorry Camila but I can't just let the man die!" Pacha yelled as they ran towards the darkness of the jungle.
"I know Pacha I know!" Camila huffed. "I'm not angry at you."
Camila's eyes widened in shock, as she pointed towards a far away ledge. "Look, over there!"
Kuzco was pushed close to the ledge, a pack of jet black jaguars edging closer and closer to him. Oh no, Camila thought. Spotting two pairs of swinging vines, she swiftly grabbed one of them, handing the other one to Pacha.
"Better hold on tight!" Pacha yelled, jumping of the ground, swinging down with increasing speed. Camila followed soon after, seeing Pacha pass the jaguars as they all looked at him in confusion. Camila took this opportunity to completely swoop down.
"I've got you!" she stated as she snatched Kuzco away from the grounds. Kuzco smiled at her, and she would be lying if she said she didn't feel a little bit cool for swinging to the rescue. But that feeling would soon leave, as Pacha came swinging back at them. They all yelled in fear as they clashed against eachother, throwing themselves over a dead tree.
Trapped by the vines, Camila let out a yell of frustration. "Maybe I'm just new to the whole 'rescuing' thing. But this, to me, may be considered kind of a step backwards wouldn't you say?" Kuzco sneered.
"No no no! It's okay, this-this is alright. We can figure this out." Pacha said just before the wood began to crack. "I hate you." Kuzco said monotonely, as the tree fully snapped from it's holding place.
Camila's yell was the highest pitch as the trio fell down the high cliff, bouncing against a few rocks, before fully landing themselves in the pulling river.
Coughing the water out of their lungs, Kuzco was the first to speak. "I don't know about you two, but I'm getting all funned out." Camila was on Kuzco's right, she turned her head to see where they were going, and her heart dropped to her toes.
"Uh oh." Pacha said, his face pale and eyes wide open.
Kuzco sighed. "Don't tell me, we're about to go over a huge waterfall."
"Yep" Camila squeeked.
"Sharp rocks at the bottom?"
"Most likely" Pacha responded.
"Bring it on"
Camila whimpered as they got closer to the edge. "BOOOYAHHH" Kuzco yelled as they fell of the high waterfall, no fear in his voice. Camila felt a tear escape her eye, she didn't want to die, not here, not now.
But when she opened her eyes she saw the blue hue of the water, she felt her arms and legs freed as she quickly swam up to shore. She gasped as she took in a breath of fresh air, relieved to see Pacha doing the same. But sadly, Kuzco seemed to be unconsious. As he went down, Camila quickly grabbed him, as Pacha helped them all swim to land.
Camila coughed the remaining water out of her lungs as soon as they fell still on the sweet land of the Inca Empire. Concerned she looked over to Kuzco, who was still unconsious, as Pacha tried his best to wake him up. "Your highness, your highness! Can you hear me?" but Kuzco gave no response.
"Oh boy" Pacha started, "Come on breath, breath!"
Camila sat stood over next to them, looking over in fear. She didn't know what to do.
"Oh, why me?" Pacha squeeked quietly, feeling doomed for what he had to to next, but he had to save Kuzco's life.
Carefully Pacha opened Kuzco's mouth, his tongue falling out dramatically. Both he and Camila cringed, as Pacha prepared himself to perform CPR.
"I can't watch this" she said in disgust, turning her head away to avoid seeing the man practically kiss a llama, she would never get that vision out of her head otherwise.
As Pacha leaned in, Kuzco had seemed to have awoken, as he opened his eyes right in time. The two men screamed as they jumped away from eachother, scaring the living daylights out of Camila.
