Karan entered inside the room and looked at Preeta who was blabbering something while sitting on bed

Karan (in mind): Yeh apne se kya baate kiye jaa rahi hai (to her) Preeta

Preeta (angrily): Kya hai?

Karan flinched

Karan (in mind): God.. iske andar roj raat ko kaunsi maata aa jaati hai (takes a deep breath) (to Preeta) Pree.. Preeta

Preeta looked at him annoyingly

Preeta (annoyed): Kya hai.. kya kabse Preeta Preeta kiya jaa rahe ho.. aage bhi toh kuch bolo

Karan: Preeta mujhe kuch nahi bolna.. mai.. mai toh bass

Preeta (interrupted): Haa haa mujhe ku bolna rahega.. jo bhi bolna hoga.. woh toh tum apni best friend Shruti se hi bologe.. jaise subha se bole jaa rahe ho

Karan (confused): Abb Shruti kaha se beech mai aa gayi?

Preeta: Beech mai tum laaye ho usee (cutely yet angrily) subha ko bhi breakfast k time uske pass baith gaye the.. aur phir shaam ko bhi jabse acedmy se aaye ho.. usse hi baate kiye jaa rahe ho

Karan (in mind): Abb samajh aaya.. toh matalab madam jealous feel kar rahi hai.. Shruti was right (chuckles)

Preeta: Abb tum hass ku rahe ho? Mai kya tumhe koi joker dikh rahi hu? Aisi.. aisi bhi kaunsi funny baat kar di maine

Karan: Mai tum par nahi.. (smirks) mai toh tumhari jealousy pe hass raha hu.. you really look cute when you get jealous

Preeta looked at him and realised that she really overreacted

Preeta (nervously): Mai.. mai koi.. koi jealous nahi hu samjhe.. tum.. tum jyaada soch rahe ho

Karan (smirks): Accha

Preeta glared at him

Preeta: Just stop giving me these looks.. I am not jealous.. okk? Mai koi jealous feel nahi kar rahi.. aur waise bhi woh tumhari bass friend hai.. toh usee mujhse ku problem hogi

Karan chuckles slightly

Karan: Preeta (Preeta looked at him) tumhe accha nahi laga ki maine usee tumse jyaada importance di?

Preeta: Ai.. aisa kuch nahi hai.. mu.. mujhe ku.. ku accha nahi lagega.. tum jisse bhi chahe baat kar sakte ho.. jise bhi chahe importance de sakte ho.. mera.. mera koi right nahi hai tumhe question karne kaa.. so I am sorry.. maine.. maine woh sab (looks down)

Karan cupped her face and made her look at him

Karan (smiles): Tumhe pura haq hai mujhse question karne kaa.. sirf tumhe hi haq hai.. mujhse kuch bhi puchne kaa.. aur rahi importance ki baat.. toh mere liye sabse important tum ho (Preeta looked at him) yes.. bohot important ho tum mere liye.. bohot jyaada.. tumhe pata hai.. mai kabhi shaadi nahi karna chatha tha..

Preeta (cutts him off): Toh yeh shaadi tumne zabardasti ki hai? (sadly)

Karan (nodes in no): Pehle meri puri baat toh sunn lo.. mai shaadi nahi karna chahta tha.. par jab tak maine tumhe nahi dekha tha.. hum sab jab rishta lekar tumhare ghar gaye the.. mai uss time iss shaadi k liye bilkul taiyaar nahi tha.. par.. par tumhe dekhte hi.. maine.. maine apna decision badal liya

Preeta looked at him raising her eyebrows

Preeta: Ku.. ku badal liya tumne apna decision

Karan (softly): Ku ki.. mai tumhe dekh kar samajh gaya tha.. ki yahi hai woh.. jo sirf mere liye hai

Preeta stares at him lostly.. he too looked at her lostly but then Preeta looked down and smiled sadly

Preeta (smiling sadly): Abb.. abb kya lagta hai tumhe? Ab bhi yahi lagta ? Ku ki maine toh tumhe etna hurt kiya hai.. shaadi ki pehli raat naa jaane kya kya bol diya.. abb toh tumhe yahi lagta hoga naa.. ki ku mujhse shaadi kar li

Karan (smiles): Nahi.. mujhe abhi bhi yahi lagta hai..  and I really feel so lucky.. jo mujhe tum milii as a wife.. I know tumne abhi iss rishte ko aur mujhe accept nahi kiya hai.. par mai wait karunga uss din ka jis din tumhe yeh rishta aur mujhe pure dil se accept karogi

Preeta smiles with slight tears and hugged him making him go shock

He slowly hugged her back with shivering hands

Preeta: Tum naa sach mai bohot acche ho.. I don't know ki mai kab tak iss rishte ko accept kar paungi but I know ki tum jaisa friend mai kabhi nahi khona chahungi

Karan smiled listening to her

Karan: Mai bhi (in mind: mai bhi nahi chahunga ki mera pehla pyaar kabhi mujhse dur ho)

Preeta realised that she was hugging him and immediately broke the hug and looked away being awkward

Karan too looked away

Preeta (in mind): Shit.. mai.. mai Karan ko hug kaise kar sakti hu.. yeh kya socch raha hoga mere baare mai

Karan (smiles nervously):  I.. I think (Preeta looked at him) abb.. abb hume so jaana chahiye.. bohot raat ho gayi hai.. phir kal tumhe hospital bhi toh join karna hai

Preeta (excited): Aree haa.. mai toh iske baare mai bhul hi gayi thi.. mai uske liye bohot excited hu

Karan chuckles at her excitement

Karan: Woh toh dikh hi raha hai.. abb so jao.. waran subha uthne mai der ho jayegi

Preeta nodes and went towards the bed and lay there while Karan went to lay in the couch

Karan rememberd the moment Preeta hugged him and smiled

Karan (in mind): Aaj pehli baar Preeta ne mujhe hug kiya.. I know.. woh dheere dheere iss rishte ko bhi accept kar legi aur mai usee apne dil baat tabhi bataunga (smiles)

Preeta's side

Preeta rememberd the moment she hugged Karan and then blushed covering her face

Preeta bites her lips trying to control her blush

Preeta (in mind): Karan sahi mai bohot accha hai but (pouts) mujhe woh Shruti bilkul pasand nahi hai.. aur kya keh raha tha Karan.. ki mai jealous ho rahi thi.. aisa kuch nahi hai.. mai koi jealous nahi thi usse.. mai ku jealous houngi usse bhala.. woh bass Karan ki friend hai.. aur mai.. mai uski wife (realised what she said) maine.. maine khud ko Karan ki wife kaha.. (thinks something) haa toh isme galat kya hai? Woh hai mera husband aur mai uski wife

And like this while crushing Shruti and thinking about Karan she slept

Next Day

Preeta entered inside the room and looked at Karan who was getting ready but then wide her eyes realising that he was not wearing his shirt

Her gaze went towards his well built body and then his abs

She was staring at him with wide eyes or we can say she was drooling over him

Feeling some gaze Karan turned his head to see Preeta looking at him with wide eyes

He got confused seeing her.. he called her

Karan: Preeta.... (Shouts) Preeta

Preeta came back to senses and looked at him

Preeta (startled): Haa.. haa kya hua?

Karan: Kya hua tumhe kuch kehna hai?

Preeta (nervously): Na.. haa haa.. par (looked at him and gulps) tum.. tum please pehle apni shirt pehen lo (looked away)

Karan too realised that he was not wearing his shirt.. he immediately went towards the cupboard taking his shirt out and wore it

Preeta turned towards him and sighs in relief seeing him in full clothes

Karan: Abb batao.. tumhe kya kehna tha?

Preeta: Woh mai keh rahi thi.. ki kya aaj tum mujhe hospital drop kar sakte ho? (Looks at him hopefully)

Karan smiles and nodes

Karan: Haa ku nahi.. hum breakfast kar lete hai.. phir mai tumhe drop kar dunga.. aur phir wahi se acedmy bhi chala jaunga

Preeta nodes smilingly and left from there

All were having breakfast.. Karan too came downstairs and took his seat

Shruti: Good morning Karan

Karan (smiles): Good morning

Preeta narrowed her eyes and then pouts

Karan looked at Preeta who was busy serving everyone

Karan: Preeta (Preeta looked at him) tum bhi kar lo naa breakfast.. phir hume nikalna bhi hai naa

Rakhi: Haa Preeta.. tujhe der ho jayegi.. tu bhi nasta kar le.. jise Jo lena hoga.. woh khud le leha

Preeta nodes slightly and sat beside Karan

Kritka: Waise bhabhi aap dono jaa kaha rahe ho (teasingly) date pe jaa rahe ho kya

Preeta widened her eyes and nodes in no

Karan (in mind): Kaash ja rahe hote (to Kritika) tu naa apna woh dimag chalna band kar jo hai hi nahi.. hum dono koi date par nahi jaa rahe hai.. woh aaj se Preeta hospital join kar rahi hai.. toh bass mujhe usee drop karne jaa raha hu.. aur wahi se acedmy chala jaunga

Kareena: Kya matlab yeh hospital join karegi.. kisse puch kar isse permission di?

All looked at her being irritated

Mahesh: Mujhse puch kar.. koi problem hai tujhe.. agar hai bhi.. toh mujhe fark nahi padta.. Preeta apni job continue karegi.. bass..

Kareena sighs unbelievably

Shruti (to Karan): Karan mai bhi chalu (all looked at her) mujhe shopping mall jaana hai.. toh kya mujhe waha drop kar dega?

Karan: Ha haa ku nahi (Preeta frowns) tu ekk kaam karna pura shopping mall hi kharid lena iss baar.. baar baar shopping mall jaane ki jarurat nahi padegi

Shruti glared at him

Shruti: Tujhe naa Preeta hi sudharegi (to Preeta) Preeta Tum naa iske paiso se khub shopping karna.. phir baad mai saare shopping bags bhi isi se uthwana

Karan (in mind): I wish ki kabhi yeh mujhpe etna haq jataye (to her) tu naa bohot bolti hai.. chup chap aur jaldi jaldi nasta thus.. warna nahi leke jaane waala mai tujhe

Shruti rolled her eyes

Preeta (in mind): Hadd hai.. kya jarurat thi Karan ko haa bolne ki.. (pouts)

Karan looked at Preeta who was making faces

Karan (in mind): Isee bhi nahi pata kya ho jaata hai baar baar

After sometime having their breakfast all left for their work

----

Karan was sitting in the driving seat.. Preeta was about sit at back but Shruti stopped her

Karan sighs seeing it

Shruti: Preeta (Preeta looked at her) tum peeche ku baith rahi ho.. aage baitho Karan k pass

Preeta: Par..

Shruti: Par war kuch nahi.. jao aage baitho.. mai peeche baithi hu

Saying this she went to the backseat and sat there while Preeta sat beside Karan

Karan looked at her and smiled.. she smiled back at him

Karan: Chale?

Preeta nodes.. Karan smiles and starts the car

Karan stopped the car in front of the hospital

Preeta got down from the car.. Karan too came out of the car

Karan: Dekho agar koi bhi problem hogi.. toh mujhe turant call karna.. aur shaam ko mai lene aa jaunga.. toh nikalne se pehle ekk baar call kar lena mujhe

Preeta nodes and left from there

Preeta (in mind): Mera bilkul Mann nahi kar raha Karan ko Shruti k saath akele chhod kar jaane ka

She looked back at Karan who waves at her.. she twitched her lips and turned her head ignoring him

Karan: Isse kya ho gaya.. muh ku bana rahi thi phir se

He sighs and sit inside the car

Shruti looked at Karan who was thinking something

Shruti: Karan (Karan looked at her) kya soch raha hai?

Karan: Nahi pata Preeta ko kya ho gaya abhi.. baar baar muh bana rahi thi.. aur abhi bhi maine byee kiya.. toh usne muh ghuma liya

Shruti (chuckles) Aree pagal.. she was jealous again.. she is really cute yaar.. ketna lucky hai tu.. tujhe etni cute aur beautiful wife mil gayi

Karan (smiles): Lucky toh mai hu.. ki Preeta mujhe mili as a wife

Shruti looked at him teasingly he ignoring her started the car

Preeran were going back to house.. Preeta was sitting beside Karan looking outside the while Karan was driving the car glancing at her in between

Karan: Preeta (Preeta looked at him) tumhe aaj kya ho gaya tha? Tum mujhse upset ho kya? Subha ko maine byee kaha toh tumne apna muh ku ghuma liya

Preeta (nervously): Woh.. woh toh mai jaldi mai thi isliye.. aur koi.. koi baat nahi hai

Karan nodes still being not satisfied with her answer

Karan: Waise mai kya keh raha tha.. ki tum kya.. kya mere saath ice cream khaane chalogi?

Preeta looked at him and thinks for sometime.. Karan looked at her impatiently
