Chaeyoung's POV

I'm cooking breakfast for Mina because since last week I have been attending meetings and going to the company my dad said it was for me to be ready once I handle everything after I graduate college and so I did.

"You woke up early today, going to the company?" I heard Mina asked as I looked back and nodded to her well it's already obvious because I'm already wearing my office attire.

"But I'll take you school and pick you up." I said placing her food on the table.

"Good morning~" I greeted and kissed her forehead making her smile while I sat down and started eating.

"You know you don't have to take and pick me up every time you're going to the company." She said and I just smiled at her and held her hand that was on the table.

"Well I'm doing this every time I have to go because I want to and because I want to make sure you're safe." I said caressing her hand that I was holding.

"And also later I have a surprise for you." I said and winked at her before standing up and picking both our plates.

"Go and prepare yourself before you get late." I said and she just nodded went upstairs while I wash our plates.

"Let's go." I said carried her bag placed both her bag and mine at the backseat opened the door for her fixed her seatbelt and drove away.

"Hey Mina! And hi miss CEO." Momo unnie greeted us once we were in the cafeteria where they were yesterday and there are the girls again from yesterday so I held Mina's hand and caressed it making her look at me and I smile at her.

"Going to stay here for a while again?" Rosé asked and I nodded smiling at them.

"That's great Mina here won't be grumpy like yesterday." Nayeon unnie said laughing looking at Mina who is now pouting— aww what a cute penguin my heart is soft!

"I wasn't grumpy yesterday don't listen to her babe." She mumbled looking at me with those puppy eyes that I can't help but smile and pinch her cheeks.

"We don't have first subjects today teachers are having a morning meeting and I don't know what about because Dad didn't say anything." Jihyo said making me sad because any time soon I have to leave so I can't take Mina to her class.

"Hey I can't take you to class I have to leave any time soon, I'm sorry." I mumbled looking at Mina.

"It's okay, I'm in the same class with Jennie Jisoo and Tzuyu today so I'm walking with them to class." She said while I just nodded pouting making her giggle so I smiled— what? I'm whipped.

Ringgg~

My phone rang and I looked at who the caller is.

Ms. Kwon Yuri calling...

It was my assigned secretary calling so I stood up excused myself from them and answered.

"Hello, Good morning Ms. Kwon." I greeted as soon as I picked up.

"Miss Son you're 9am meeting will start soon, your father wanted me to remind you." She said and I looked at my wristwatch and— shoot! I'm going to be late!

"Tell Dad I'll be there in 10." I said while she just replied with an 'okay' and hanged up. I'm gonna be late!

"Hey guys, I have to go my meeting will start any minute and I'm gonna be late so I'll get going now." I said and smiled apologetically to them while they nodded.

"It's okay, go on before you really get late." Jisoo unnie said and I nodded and looked at Mina.

"I'll pick you up later okay? I love you." I said and kissed her forehead before grabbing my bag.

"I'll see you later." I said again and she nodded while I pecked her lips before making my way back to my car and drove to the company as fast as I can.

"Hey, I'm sorry I'm late I drove Mina to school and stayed for a bit, I'm sorry Dad." I mumbled catching my breath because I ran from the elevator to my soon to be office. And my Dad just chuckled making me look at him and both him and my secretary are chuckling.

"I'll get you some coffee Ms. Son Mr. Son." She said bowed to us and walked out the office.

"It's okay Chaeyoung, I just wanted to remind you about the meeting no need to rush besides investors aren't here yet." He said chuckling at me while I did the same and breathed in and out and sat down in front of Dad on the other sofa.

"Have you heard about the news?" He asked me so I looked up to him from my phone.

"What news?" I asked completely confused.

"There's been cases of missing girls, police said the syndicate's are a big group capturing minors and selling their organs to different countries." He said and making me surprised because that's the same thing Mina's Dad told me yesterday wait! Is this the new plan they're planning? Oh my god! Mr. Myoui was right!

"That was the same thing Mina's Dad told me yesterday, it's a syndicate Mina's ex-lovers family is doing." I mumbled and he looked at me with the same reaction as mine earlier.

"Haru told you about them?" He asked and again I'm surprised, how does he know Mina's father?

"If you're wondering how I know him, he was my first friend in Japan when I was 12 and your grandpa took me there his father and my dad are best friends and are in the same field, and that field is what Mina's family business is now." He said and I didn't even know about this? Does Mina know about our fathers being friends? Or not?

"We have been talking again since you and Mina became a couple and he told me about that situation about the cases, Chaeyoung you have to take extra careful now you can't go anywhere without guards even Mina anywhere right now isn't safe even at your house or even at the whole townhouse isn't safe so take extra careful and never let your guard down." He said, I nodded then I remembered what I saw the other day the guy in the hoodie looking at our direction while playing with Ray. So I told Dad about that and we talked for a couple minutes more before Ms. Kwon entered the office again.

"Mr. Son Ms. Son the investors are here, they're already waiting at the conference room." She said while me and Dad just nodded stood up and went to the conference room where the investors are already seated waiting for us.

"Good morning everyone." My Dad said now looking at everyone sternly, that's the business face he said and I find it really funny but he told me it's necessary so that no one would ever dare look down on you or even take you as a joke, that's how business works he said so I just followed.

"You may take your seats and let's start." He again mumbled while everyone including me obeyed and sat right beside him looking at the presenters in front of us presenting us how the sales went up in less than a month of us releasing our new products and now here they are presenting us new products that we're going to release in 2 months and more blah blah blah about the company it's really boring me but I'll handle this all once I graduate so I have to learn all of this.

"And that's it everyone, any comments? How about Ms. Son? Do you have anything to add Miss?" One of the presenters asked so I composed myself cleared my throat before speaking.

"I have nothing to say actually, it was all good but I do have something that I want you guys to revise from the new building that we're going to make." I said and looked at the papers again to see what it was, if you're wondering our company is a construction company and we're the best at it I'm not bragging okay? I was just stating what the articles say about our company.

"Ah! here, the tiles that you're going to use for the floor it doesn't match the theme of the building, I mean it's suppose to be a cozy type right? And the customers should feel like they're at home and this tiles just doesn't match that feeling you know? So I hope you could revise it but other than that I have nothing else to say." I said and looked at my Dad who nodded at me smiling so I looked at the others in the room and they're agreeing as well I guess I'm good at this.

"Okay so that's it everyone, you are all dismissed now." Dad said and everyone stood up and bowed and we did as well.

"You did great I'm proud of you, you're gonna do great in the future." Dad said once we were alone making me smile and went back to my office where papers are waiting for me to be read and signed making me sigh— it's going to be a long morning and afternoon.
