A couple days later, Saturday .........

Kayla's POV

" Come on Kay! It's just one night!" Emeraude says trying to get me to agree to go to a dance club with her and the guys. I just sit on my bed as she rummages through my closet. I'm just sitting on my bed with my legs crossed.

" Emeraude not that I don't love dancing, but I really don't think a club is my scene." I try explaining to her.

" please, we're just going to go dance and have a good time, no one is even going to drink." She says.

" why are you so adamant about me going tonight?" I asked her curiously.

"Because your 19! Live a little besides Jayden is with your grandparents tonight and they even think you should go have fun! And I have a surprise for you that will be ruined if you don't go."She says and I giggle. I think about it for a minute.

" if I go then , you have to buy me food afterwards." I say bargaining with her. I see her smile widely before squealing.

" yes I'll buy you food afterwards! Yay ! I'm so excited ugh we have to find you something amazing to wear!" She says as she goes back to going through my clothes. I just laugh at her excitement. Before I can get up to go look for something to wear my phone rings saying Presley wants to FaceTime. I answer.

" hey Presley , what's up?" I ask waving at her.

" not much just still in the car in the way to go get aspen. Look say hi mom!" She says and turns the camera to face Shawnee whose driving.

" hey Kayla!" She says

" hey Shawnee! " I wave back to her. Then I remember Emeraude is here.

" oh say hi em! " I say turning my camera towards her and she looks up smiling

" hey !" She says.

" ah Emeraude! I miss you!" Presley says and Emeraude says she misses her too.

" so what are you guys up to tonight?" Presley asks us. Emeraude answers before I can

" I'm currently trying to find Kayla an outfit to go dancing tonight !" She says squealing and Presley laughs.

" you're actually gonna go?" Presley asked me.

" yea , she promised me food afterwards and she said she had a surprise for me that would ultimately be ruined if I didn't go so I caved." I explain to her.

" oh wait isn't ...." Shawnee starts off before Presley chimes in.

" mom! She can't know yet!" She tells her mom and Shawnee apologizes.

" wait you two know what the surprise is?" I asked her, and she smiled sheepishly at me.

"Uh yes , Emeraude has called me to tell me about it. It's a really good surprise Kay. Just wait!" She says and I giggle.

" well now I'm very intrigued and wanting to know what this surprise is." I say.

" and you will,  but in order for you to find out we need to get you dressed so we need to start getting ready!" Emeraude says and I nod. I turn back to the phone.

" well you heard Emeraude, I have to go but I miss you guys but I hope you have fun with aspen , and you'll have to tell me all about it when you get back! " I tell her smiling.

" oh definitely! I miss you too, but we'll let you go, say bye mom!" She says and Shawnee say bye and then we hang up. I turn back to Emeraude.

" ok it is 5 o'clock and the guys will be here at 8 so we have three hours let's get started!" She says and I laugh but nod. Then she starts doing my hair and makeup....

A while later .....

She was now done with my hair and makeup and I actually really loved the way it came out:

After I looked in the mirror I turned back towards her.

" I love it ! Thank you!" I say hugging her. She laughs and hugs back.

" Well I am glad , but I need to start my hair and makeup if we want to be ready on time." She says and starts doing her makeup . I help out and start doing her hair. I just curl it like she wants and it comes out super pretty.

After she's done it is like 7:30 so we decide to go ahead and change into our outfits. What Em picked out for me was a really pretty outfit that I was in love with, I actually had forgot that I had this to be honest. And her outfit was really pretty too:

" wow em! You look amazing!" I said gushing over her outfit. He smiles and does a little spin.

" why thank you! But look at you! You look hot! Which is what I was going for!" She says and I giggle and thank her.

" so I know you've probably been asked this a lot, but how are things with Michael?" She asks sitting down next to me.

" um not really. I mean I texted him saying that we needed to talk once he was back home for a while and he said ok but that's it." I tell her and she nods.

" I'm sorry Kay. I hope everything works out for you." She says and I smile.

" I hope it does to, I just hope we can have a civil conversation and be mature about this." I tell her and she nods understanding. We talk for a bit longer until we here the doorbell. Meaning the guys were here. We grab our bags and go downstairs. I go and open the door and see Matt , Alberto and Harry standing there.

" wow Kayla looking good!" Alberto says coming and hugging me. I smile and thank him. We hug all the guys and say hey.

" so Kayla has Emeraude told you about you're surprise tonight?" Matt asks smirking.

" um well apparently everyone knows about this surprise except me. But yes she has told me and I am curious to find out what it is." I say and they all laugh.

" well I have a feeling that you're going to love this surprise , so we better go. Let's get this night started!" Alberto says and we all laugh and head out to the car.

" I seriously cannot wait for you to see your surprise!" Em squeals and we all just laugh.

" I swear Emeraude it better not be something as crazy as a male stripper ." I tell her laughing but still serious. The guys just crack up laughing, and she starts cracking up too.

" I'm serious tho. I will scream and then leave." I tell her and she just nods.

" just trust me Kay. It's not a stripper ! This is better than that! " she says and I just relax and nod.

" ok good!" I tell her and then she smiles.

" oh goodie! We're here already!" She squeals and she pulls into a parking spot. I take a deep breath and then get out of the car. I look at the club and just stand there for a minute. Emeraude notices my hesitation. She comes over and loops her arm through mine.

" it's going to be fun Kayla ! Just relax and breath! You'll enjoy yourself I know it!" She says and I nod and smile.

" ok let's go!" She said and we all walk inside. As we get inside, instantly I feel a little claustrophobic, but I get over it and try to relax.

" let's go dance!" Em says pulling me into the dance floor. I laugh and go with her and we start dancing. I actually start having fun. We're all just dancing and having fun, and I found out that harry is actually a really good dancer.

A little while later.......

We've been dancing for like an hour now and we're taking a break. We're sitting and standing around the bar area. I'm talking with Matt, Alberto and Harry and Emeraude is just typing away on her phone. She then looks up at me smiling.

" what are you smiling like that for?" I asked her and she just kept the smile.

" should I be worried?" I asked the guys and they all just smiled at me.

" ok guys I'm getting creeped out will you tell me what's going on." I tell them and suddenly I feel hands on my waist and I'm lifted up and spun around. I squeal kinda of freaked out.

" what the hell!" I say and then all of a sudden I hear an all to familiar laugh. My eyes go wide and I turn around to see Chance there. I smile and jump to hug him.

" oh my gosh! Chance what are you doing here I thought you guys weren't supposed to get back till tomorrow night?" I asked him hugging him again. He chuckled.

" we wanted to surprise you! And Em here helped me arrange all this." He said and I turned back to em and smiled at her.

" thank you em! This was a nice surprise." I tell her and she smiles back at her.

" it was really all chance's idea I just helped out." She says and I nod.

" wait I want to take a picture ." Chance says and hands his phone to Matt and he takes our photo. I really liked the picture so I posted it on Instagram.

After I was happy with the post I put my phone away and turned back to Chance , but then I noticed em and the guys gone.

" hey where did they go?" I asked him confused.

" oh they went to dance again, speaking of dancing" He says sticking out his hand.

" dance with me?" He asks and I nod and follow him to the dance floor. It was a slow country song so wasn't that bad.

" so if your back does that mean Michael is too?" I asked him.

" yea, but he was going to spend the night with his family, and we all planned on going to the beach tomorrow , care to join? My mom ,aspen , Brooklyn and Presley will be there ." He says and I just smile and nod.

" I would love to go to the beach with you all." I say and he smiles and nods. We continue to dance and have fun for about another 2 hours until we are all tired and decide to call it a night. I tell em that I'll just catch a ride with Chance and she happily says ok and then we say our goodbyes and I follow Chance to the car. We drive back to the house and he parks in the driveway.

" You wanna spend the night?" I ask him unlocking the door and walking inside.

" uh sure , if that's ok." He says and I nod. We walk up to my room and I start getting some clothes to change into.

" where is everyone?" He asked sitting on my bed.

" um, Jayden is with my grandparents , Michael is obviously with his parents and I don't know where miles has been, he hasn't been around lately , or if he has I haven't seen him." I tell him walking into the bathroom to change into my pjs.

Once I'm done I walk back into my room and get Chance some of his clothes that he's left here.

" here ya go." I tell him handing him the clothes.

" thanks , so question why do you another bed in your room?" He asks pointing to the other bed.

" oh yea that, Nate put it in here, around the time when I was shutting everyone out so that Jayden could stay in here with me." I tell him and he nodded. He then goes to change in the bathroom, and I just sit on my bed and turn on Netflix. As it scrolling through the shows Chance walks out and sits next to me.

" so what are we watching ?" He asks and I turn towards him.

" we are watching white chicks ," I said laughing and he chuckles and he says ok. I go to play the movie and then grab my phone and charger.

" smile!" Chance says and I turn around and he takes a picture of us. I make a silly face and laugh when he's done.

" alright let's this movie started!" Chance says doing a little dance. I laugh at his moves.

" haha ok." I say and then lay back and we watch the movie.
