"Shine so Bright that it burns their fucking eyes"
"Oh Dad." I cursed as I stared at the human I contraption I held. Positive. Shit, I was in trouble. Especially since the last dude I fucked was the original hybrid. God, that dude was an arsse but hey, he was very good in bed.
Speaking of which, hey readers. I'm Eden. Eden Morningstar. Yup, oldest daughter of God, original tribrid, creator of magic, etc. And I have currently found myself in a predicament where I'm pregnant.
I had somehow landed myself in the city of Voodoo, New Orleans due to some witches summoning me. I usually didn't heed mortals cries for help, but they claimed it involved the big bad hybrid and that he would be present.
Taking a breath before walking up to the address that led me to a cemetery in the French quarter. While I walked I couldn't help but think of what my child would be. She would be a tribrid but not have any of my abilities.
It was hardly possible that I was fertile, having demon blood in my veins so if I was pregnant, I was sure the baby would only inherit their father's abilities. Thus making them a tribrid. They would have my genes but my powers weren't capable of passing due to the way my father created me.
All I knew was that my younger brothers would not give this up. Arriving, a woman wearing a jacket stood by the door. She stood determined, but I could see fear in her eyes and smirked at this. You could hear her heartbeat from a mile away.
"I assume you are Sophie Devereaux" I say
"Yes" she says. I try to step in but am stopped by a weak attempt. Still, keeping up my charade that I'm not as powerful as I am, I wait for the woman to invite me in.
"This place is filled with the magic of our ancestors, so you can't enter unless we invite you in. So, you may come in" I internally roll my eyes at the little confidence she gains from having to allow me in.
I walk inside as she leads me to a mini cave where before I knew it, everything had gone black.
At least that's what they thought. Amateurs. So while they performed spells that I allowed to work, I pretended to be out cold. Watching as they determined if the baby in me was Klaus's before quickly making sure I was linked to Sophie, I once more rolled my eyes.
I felt my tattoo that inked my back heat up a little, hence accepting to halt my body's protection against magic and allowing the spell to take place.
Though my eyes remained shut, my ears continued to hear everything until I felt a new presence. Apparently these people had thought it wise to chain me up, having not identified yet what I was. Bad for them. They thought chains could hold me if my powers acted up. But I needed information on why they were going on with this stupid, unprepped plan of theirs.
Apparently after Sophie explained my one night stand to who I know now as Elijah Mikealson, Klaus's brother, Elijah had gone to collect his brother to discuss a deal. And the thought of Klaus coming made my gut tug in a unusually likable feeling which I quickly pushed down.
I felt someone place their hand on my belly and used my legs to kick the woman back, sending her to crash into a wall. I knew it was the tan skinned woman, only dad knows her name. Suddenly the chains collapse and my eyes open as I feel two woman drag my body out of the room and into another where my eyes had met Klaus's.
Klaus stares at me and I can tell that they had told him of my condition. His eyes were filled with different emotions, sadness, longing, anger, pain and something else.
"No. It's impossible." Klaus says
"I said the same thing myself." Elijah says
"This is a lie. You are all lying. Vampires cannot procreate." I believed that for me as well but look where we are?
"But werewolves can. Magic made you a vampire, but you were born a werewolf. You're the Original hybrid, the first of your kind. And this pregnancy is one of nature's loopholes." Sophie says. She couldn't determine the same for me though, since she was still unsure of what I was. Klaus turns to me.
"You've been with someone else, admit it!" Klaus yells and I roll my eyes before scoffing.
"Hey, I've spent hours held captive in a freaking alligator bayou because they think that I'm carrying some magical miracle baby. Don't you think I would've fessed up if it wasn't yours?" I yell back, my voice close to turning to my demon one.
"My sister gave her life to perform the spell she needed to confirm this pregnancy. Because of Jane-Anne's sacrifice, the lives of this girl and her baby are now controlled by us. We can keep them save. Or we can kill them. If you don't help us take down Marcel, so help me, she won't live long enough to see her first maternity dress." I feel myself burst into laughter, earning the weird looks but quickly wipe a non-existent tear away and in a flash have Sophie pinned to the wall.
I feel an invisible force grip my neck but the pain is hardly anything I haven't felt before so I was able to put it aside. My eyes flash red as I stare at her.
But then realizing that this could ruin my plan of finding information, I let her go and fold my arms as she tries to breathe.
"Are you alright" Elijah asks and I shrug.
"I've felt much worse, trust me" I smile before turning back to glare at Sophie.
"Enough of this. If you want Marcel dead, he's dead. I'll do it myself." Elijah says
"No. We can't, not yet. We have a clear plan that we need to follow, and there are rules." Sophie tries to say and once more I scoff.
"How dare you command me, threaten me, with what you wrongfully perceive to be my weaknesses. This is a pathetic deception. I won't hear any more lies." Klaus yells until Elijah tells him to listen closely and his eyes widen when he hears a small heartbeat.
"Kill her and the baby. What do I care?" Klaus says and I facepalm.
"Screw this. I'm out of here!" I say and when stopped by witches, I glare at them before walking back into the room I had been chained.
"No one touches the girl. I'll fix this." Elijah says.
TIME SKIP
After a while, Elijah returned learning about the stupid link between me and Sophie before leaving for a while again only to come back holding a dead body, claiming that he just needed more time to convince his brother. He had then proceeded to threaten the witches before taking me to a rented house with apple plantations that was kind of cool. I always wanted to try farming, I had done it with locals when I visited India but I wanted to try different crops this time.
So I stood their, pulling white sheets off of furniture, coughing a little because of the dust.
"Are you alright?" Elijah asks, walking in and standing beside me.
"Just dust. This place is quite beautiful. A nice date on it, perfect vintage" I complement.
"Yes, it should serve our purposes. It's a sanctuary from our business in the Quarter. Right now, you are the most important person in this family. You need a good home. So I'm curious... in all this time, has anyone asked you how you feel?" Elijah asks and I sigh.
"About having a miracle baby with a psychotic one-night-stand?" I joke.
"About being a mother." Elijah states.
"My situation is quiet complicated. My mother only helped in my creation before leaving along with my father. They used to care for me until, they didn't anymore and abandoned me. So... I don't really know how I feel about being a mother because I... I never really had a good one." I say, shrugging as I turn and wipe the tear that managed to escape.
"I will always protect you. You have my word on that." Elijah says and I smile at him. I don't need it, but thanks anyway.
"And noble Elijah always keeps his word." I turn to Klaus and smile at him before getting on with my given task.
"Is it done?" Elijah asks
"As a matter of fact, yes. Your underhanded deal worked quite well. Marcel was only too happy to accept my blood even as he accepted my heartfelt apologies. His man, Thierry, yet lives and I remain a welcome guest in the French Quarter. My only concern now is this coven of impudent witches." Klaus says
"I believe them to be honorable. They did release me as much as I could've bashed their skulls and left. Although, they haven't been entirely forthcoming. Marcel obviously has something that they need. They don't want him dead. There must be a reason why." I conclude and Elijah looks at me with an impressed smile.
"What, I have history with the bastard. I hate him as much as you do for killing some important people. So why not help while I'm stuck with yall" I smile and the two men nod.
TIME SKIP
I had finished another hard workout cause damn my body needed to put it's anger somewhere. And don't worry people, i googled it. My little bun is all safe. I gotta say after letting out that anger, I'm actually excited to be a mother.
Even if it's with a psychotic hybrid, just saying. It had been nightfall an hour ago, and now I stood at the plantation balcony, leaning on the rails as I stared at a lit up New Orleans. Even if me and dad weren't at the best place, he sure new how to create some good stuff.
The nightly chills didn't affect me, due to having demon body temperature. I suddenly looked down to my belly and softly smiled.
"Hi little one, I'm your momma. I hope that when you come into this world, that you know you are loved. And I will destroy anyone who tries to harm you" I speak softly, caressing my stomach as I stare at the view.
"I see your embracing motherhood nicely" Klaus spoke from behind me. I didn't turn around though and he took this as a sign to join me.
"I can't help but be excited" I smile, still not turning to face him. I suddenly feel Klaus's hand brush against mine and as if this were a romance drama, sparks flew. Come on Dad.
"I'm sorry" he whispers
"For?" I ask confused and slightly amused.
"For giving them the chance to hurt you" He says. I smile at him.
"It's ok, I understand what you must've felt" I say to him. And the night is spent with us telling each other stories of our lives. It's quite funny he thinks he's older than me.
