Team Kakashi, Deployed

The Sand Village's carrier settled down. "Where did you come from, so early in the morning?" A ninja said, then realizing something. "It's Tagamaru, the fastest carrier bird the Hidden Sand's got!"

The ninjas gasped, if they were to send their fastest carrier, then it must be an emergency, right?

The man untied the carrier and got the small package. "Release!" He then opened the small package and took out the small scroll. "Oh no.. A level one emergency dispatch." The man said. "Go send word to the cypher corps at once!"

Naruto, (y/n), Sakura and Kakashi were walking their way to Lady Tsunade. "Oh man, it'll feel so good to be on a real mission again." Naruto said. "Listen, whatever kind of mission we're given, just take it and don't complain about it." Sakura replied. "Don't sweat it, those days are over-" (y/n) was out off by Kakashi, he sighed and said "I hope so..."

"But Sakura, it'll be nice if we were given a hard mission, ya kn-." (y/n) said. A girl suddenly came running. "Out of the way!!"

"What was that?" Sakura asked."Why don't you watch where you're going!?!??!?" Naruto yelled. "Who do you think you are?!?!"

"They called in the cypher corps, huh? Then it's true, the carrier bird I saw earlier.." Kakashi thought.

"I heard there's a level one emergency dispatch." The lady who came running confirmed. "Are you absolutely sure?"

"Yes. See for yourself." Said one of the ninjas she was talking to. She walked to the table were the scroll was placed. "From the hidden sand, huh?"

"Release!" making the small tie holding the scroll together to disappear. She opened it and read through the scroll. "The fact that they would send this to us, they must be in some serious trouble." A ninja said. "We'll find out, once I decipher it." The lady explained.

3-2-1 make some noise~~

"You move as fast as Crow." Kankuro said "I'm impressed."

"The spider needs to be as fast as the fly." Sasori replied back. "I remember now. Hmm. This Jinchuriki is supposed to have a couple of siblings. And one of them's some kind of... puppet master." Deidara said. "That must be you, I guess. Your name's, uh, Kanturo, right, or Kampachi." The blonde chuckled. "Or something?!"

"It's Kankuro!" Kankuro yelled, making his puppet release from Sasori's trap. Kankuro used his chakra strings and made the puppet jump up towards Deidara's clay bird. Sasori's was quick to act, his scorpion-like tail snatched the puppet to the ground.

Kankuro clenched his teeth. "Forget about him, I'm your opponent." Sasori said. "Deidara, quit gawking, and get out of here. You're in the way."

"Fine! I'll leave you to it then. Hmm." The blonde said, flying away on his clay bird, along with the Kazekage. "Where are you going?!" Kankuro yelled.

Sasori quickly acted, lashing the scorpion-like tail at Kankuro. The puppet master jumped fast, preventing himself from getting hurt.

"Didn't you hear me? I'm your opponent."

"I'll have to take care of this one first. Then go after the other." Kankuro thought. Looking eye to eye with his opponent.

Deidara looked behind him. "Not your lucky day, my friend. In your case, my man Sasori is the last opponent on earth you'd ever want to face. Hm"

Back in the Sand Village entrance

"There might still be some traps remaining. So watch your steps." Baki informed the group, who were cleaning up the area.

"Sir! The pursuit corps is ready to go, any time." A ninja confirmed. "All right, head out after Kankuro. But remember, if you encounter the enemy, avoid a battle if at all possible. Your sole objective is to find out where their base is. Understood?" Baki explained.

"Yes, Sir!"

"Once we know where they are, we'll move in and rescue the Kazekage. So bring me back their position. Now move out!"

The group quickly resorted.

"Please don't do anything rash in the meantime, Kankuro."

"Okay! If that's what you want, let the puppet show begin!" Kankuro yelled out, making his puppets circle around Sasori. Making them go faster, and throw kunai's.

"Pretty good so far."

Then where Sasori was standing at, he made one of his puppet's come out of the ground. Sasori jumped. "You didn't notice that Black Ant was missing, did you?"

Kankuro made Black Ant's stomach open, as weird as it sounds, the stomach opened and formed a huge wall so when Sasori falls he will get trapped within the walls.

As Kankuro trapped Sasori he said "And now, puppet show!

He made one of his other puppets break, all of it's limps departure, and form sharp, knifes. The Black Ant was standing still, Sasori inside of it, as all the sharp objects were facing the puppet. "Secret Black Move, Iron Maiden!"

All the sharp objects went through the Black Ant.

Kankuro smirked. "The show is over."

Finally Back to Konoha

"Huh?!!" Naruto and (y/n) both yelled. "Escort duty on a caravan, Come on!!" Naruto yelled. "What, have you got a problem with that?" Tsunade asked. "Since you are asking, yes! Lousy C-rank mission, it's beneath my dignity." (y/n) replied.

Sakura looked at the two, absolutely done with their antics. "Here we go.. What did I just tell them?"

Kakashi thought the same too. "Calm down you two. Because I'm the one who's going to have to take the heat if you two don't."

Tsunade looked at the Uzumaki's sternly. "Just as I expected. Nothing has changed." Eying Shizune, who was smiling nervously. "Ok, Ok, you were right."

Iruka who was also there, also sighed at the two. "Naruto, (y/n). Your skills may have improved, but mentally, you two haven't matured at all.." Iruka sweat dropped, holding his forehead with his palm.

"Naruto, (y/n). I've chosen an easier mission to start with to break you two in. You've been gone from us for a while." Tsunade explained.

"Well, who says I want an easier mission?!" The twins said in sync. Sakura punched the two in the head. "So Sorry, milady. Let me talk to them."

"Well I'm not sorry Grandma Tsunade!" (y/n) whispered/shouted under Sakura's death grip on her and Naruto. "I'm sure I can bring them around."

"You idiots!! You have no idea how ferocious Lady Tsunade can be!!" Inner Sakura shouted. "Are you insane, CHA??!"

"The details of your mission are here." Tsunade told Kakashi. "Right." Kakashi said, walking up to get the paper with the details of the mission they were assigned.

"I miss the Third Hokage." Naruto said. (y/n) agreed "That old man was smart." she added. "Exactly, he knew what he was doing." Naruto added on.

"Huh??!!" Tsunade yelled, "What did you two say?!"

Sakura panicked and basically started choking (y/n) and Naruto. In hopes of shutting them up. "gaahh"

"JUST SHUT UP, WILL YOU GUYS?!" Sakura yelled, ferrous.

That was when the lady from earlier, who was running in the hallway, entered the room. "Lady Tsunade, terrible news." She said, running to where Tsunade was sitting. "Now what is it?"

"An emergency dispatch from the Sand." The lady explained.

Finally, Sakura let the two go. "Huh? The sand?" (y/n) and Naruto said.

"Where is this dispatch?" Tsunade asked. The lady gave her the dispatch and said "I deciphered it as quickly as I could."

Tsunade read through the dispatched."What the?"

Sand was leaking through the holes Kankuro made within Black Ant. "It's sand!" Kankuro said, opening the stomach of Black Ant. Seeing Sasori, as a sand clone. "It's only a sand clone."

Sasori appeared from underground. Revealing once again the scorpion like tail.

"Huh? It can't be." Iruka said, eyes wide. "No way.." Shizune gasped, looking behind Tsunade.

"What is it?" Naruto asked. "What happened to the Sand?" (y/n) also asked. Tsunade looked at the group of four. "It's the Kazekage of the Sand. It seems he's been taken prisoner by the Akatsuki."

Naruto and (y/n)'s eyes widened. "You mean Gaara." (y/n) said, eyebrows furrowed. "So they are back again." Naruto replied. A clear of vision of the Akatsuki, in their black robes with red clouds.

"We've been studying them. We know more about the Akatsuki than any other Village. Therefore the Sand Village has officially requested our help." Tsunade explained. Shizune who was behind her was shocked. "You are not suggesting that Team Kakashi-"

Tsunade cut her off. "This is urgent. I haven't timed to form another squad. And besides, we have someone here who's actually fought the Akatsuki." The blonde Hokage informed. "Yes, yes but even so-"

"All right. Team Kakashi. I'm assigning you a new mission. You're to go to the Sand Village at once. Find out what's going on there, and keep us informed." Tsunade explained. Naruto and (y/n) both smirked. "You're to remain there, and follow their orders, give them any backup they need."

Long story short, Kankuro got hit in the chest with Sasori's tail thing, and was heavily injured. "That puppet you have is no different from any other, you can make the individual parts as strong as you want. But the joints are always a weak spot. " Kankuro stood up, holding his chest. "And now, for the real grand finale."

As Temari was about to get her tea cup, it suddenly shattered. The blonde girl's eyes widened. Her eyes then squinted. "I'm not someone who usually believes in omens... Still, I'm getting a bad feeling.

Crow, Black Ant and Salamander were all destroyed. "Those puppets of yours with hidden poison mechanisms. Aren't so hidden from me!" Sasori said.

"You must be wondering how I can anticipate every attack your puppets make. Crow, Black Ant, Salamander. The answer is quite simple, really. I'm the one who created them."

"Huh?!"

The last thing Kankuro can remember seeing is Sasori walking away..

"HERE SIR HERE! HE'S PAST OUT!"

"LOOK HIS PUPPETS ARE DESTROYED!"

"Okay, let's get moving!" Naruto said, looking back at his sister. "I'm so excited!"

"Be back soon, milady." Sakura said to Tsunade. "We won't let you down!"

"Good." Tsunade replied. Looking at Iruka beside her. "Good luck, Naruto, (y/n)."

"Thanks, Iruka-Sensei." (y/n) said. As the group started walking forward (y/n) looked back and said. "See ya later, Grandma Tsunade! You too Iruka-Sensei! Take care!!" Waving back at him, as she walking foward. Tsunade smiled. Iruka as well.

Until....

"So, off on a mission, (y/n), Naruto." Grandpa Jiraiya said. "That's right!" Naruto said. "Well good for you." Jiraiya congratulated them. Then started walking towards Iruka and Tsunade. "But most importantly, I've got some disturbing news. The Kazekage has been-" Tsunade cut him off. "Yes, I know. I'm dispatching a squad." Pointing towards Team Kakashi. "They're just about to leave." Jiraiya looked behind him. Team Kakashi standing proudly.

"Mmmhmp!" (y/n) and Naruto said. Going up and down the tips of their toes and to the back of their heels. Jiraiya was shocked. Then leaned on Tsunade's ear. "Umm.. Ya know about the Akatsuki's interest in Naruto and (y/n), don't you?" Tsunade closed her eyes. "I had no other choice. It's an emergency situation."

"You're running a pretty big risk." Jiraiya said. Now walking to where the twins were. "Naruto and (y/n). I want to have word with you."

"Listen to me, now. You two be careful around those Akatsuki's, you hear?" Jiraiya said. "They've all been out there looking for us, right?" Naruto asked. "Well, this way they won't have to look very far..." (y/n) said. Jiraiya looked at the two.

"It's true you've come a long way, Naruto and (y/n). But training doesn't mean a thing if you get reckless and blow your cool." Jiraiya explained. " You two still have a bad habit of losing your heads, even now." (y/n) and Naruto clenched their teeth. Jiraiya put a hand on their shoulders.

"(y/n), Naruto never, ever use that power. You know what I'm talking about." (y/n) and her brother both looked at their Master. "Yeah, I know."

When that power unleashes, it is not pretty.

Jiraiya then walked to where Kakashi is. "Kakashi, make sure those kids don't do anything stupid. I can trust you, right?"

Kakashi smiled. "Right."

Naruto and (y/n) were already walking ahead. "Kakashi-Sensei, Sakura, come on!" (y/n) yelled. "What are we waiting for?" Naruto added. "Ok, Ok coming!" Sakura yelled, running up to catch up to them. "We're off." Kakashi told Jiraiya. "There they go again."

"Bye, Grandpa Jiraiya!" (y/n) yelled. "Bye Pervy Sage!" Naruto also yelled. Waving back to their Master.

Tsunade could tell Iruka was worried. "Worried, Iruka?" She asked. "Worried? Not a bit. (y/n) and Naruto are no longer rookie Shinobi who needs me to worry about them. Sakura too."

Tsunade agreed. "How is it that they grow so fast? It's a mystery. I can still remember the days when (y/n) and Naruto will always be asking me to fight them.."

"Hang on, Gaara." (y/n) and Naruto thought. "We're coming!"
