Eliana’s POV

“And I just always grew up singing. It’s in my blood. My mom loved singing and I was going to audition last year, but then she died and I had to put it off. I didn’t have the desire to sing any more but my dad kept pushing me to sing. He’s the one who keeps me going.” Leti says and I can’t believe it. All of us had our life problems, but her story was probably the worst.

Ashlee’s brother had cancer when he was younger, and although he was okay now there was still a chance that it would come back.

Jessica never knew her dad. She seemed a little annoying and preppy at first but now that I knew her better I felt bad for her.

“My two friends aren’t really my friends, and my mom just wants me to be so perfect but I’m not. It’s stupid to say but all I really have is my boyfriend.” She said. Yeah it sounded corny to me, but it was cute and if that’s how she felt I couldn’t judge.

Meghan wasn’t too bad either, compared to the others. Her parents had gotten divorced but she still got to see her dad on occasion. She had a little sister and like me a best friend.

“I took my mom and dad and best friend to my audition. My best friend is like my sister, I really wish she was. I have never had too many friends, and actually I’m really glad I got put together with you guys because I probably would have spent my days alone. I’m not the type of person to go get friends.” I say.

“Yeah, I’m quiet too,” Ashlee says. “I can be crazy but I’m usually not.”

“Same,” Meghan laughs.

“I’m pretty out there,” Leti says.

“Yeah, me too.” Jessica says.

“I can’t believe we are actually going to judges houses,” Ashlee says.

“I know, it’s incredible.” I say.

“It’s so fetch,” Jessica says and we all laugh.

“Have you seen any cute boys yet? I mean are you interested?” Leti asks.

“I can’t say cause I have a boyfriend,” Jessica says.

“Jason McMan is kinda cute,” I say.

“Is he the blonde? He is cute.” Ashlee laughs.

“Jordan and I have been talking, it’s just too bad they aren’t with us.” Leti says.

“Ohhhh! Leti’s got a boyfriend,” Meghan laughs and Leti just looks away smiling. “Carter introduced himself to me at the auditions and it was funny, but he is pretty good looking.”

“The boys in HoJo are cute too,” I say looking across the room at the boy group. There were four of them, and like us they were put together at boot camp.

“We need to pick a name guys, we get to judges houses tonight and we still don’t have a name.” Meghan reminds us.

“Let’s just pick something and if we don’t like it we can change it.” Jessica says.

“Let’s use fetch, that would be hilarious.” Leti says.

“We are so Fetch!” Ashlee shouts and we all laugh.

“We are not keeping it, we need to think of better ideas.” I laugh.

“But it is funny; we should use it at judge’s houses.” Meghan says.

“Okay, but we need a better name,” I laugh. Fetch was so not going to happen.

Meghan’s POV

“I’m so nervous, do you have any idea who our mentor could be?” I ask.

“I hope it’s Demi,” Ashlee says.

“That would be cool,” Leti says.

“Maybe it will be Britney. She is the queen.” Jessica says.

“I hope it’s Demi cause she is hot.” Marcus from one of the rap groups says.

“Ew, don’t start.” I say annoyed and the door of the amazing house where we would be staying for a few days, opens slowly.

“SIMON!” we all call out happily. Simon sure would know what he was doing with Groups.

“Hello everyone,” he says happily.

“He always wears that,” Eliana says quietly and I laugh.

“I was so excited to hear that I had groups. I have some experience with successful groups and I know that I have the winner here.” He says and I can’t stop smiling. I wanted to win. My group would win.

“Now, I will need some help picking my top four, so here to help me I have brought some people you may all know. Boys,” he says and who else would come outside but one of the groups Simon was responsible for.

“Oh my god,” I say and cover my eyes. This couldn’t be happening.

“Hello,” they all say together. I uncover my eyes and they are still there.

“May I introduce to you, One Direction.” Simon says and the boys start going around and shaking our hands and hugging us. Hailey would be so mad if she knew I was about to hug Harry Styles. I hug Niall first, then Liam, Harry, Louis and last Zayn. I just touched One Direction!

“So we know that three of you groups were just put together at boot camp, which were they?” Liam asks and we raise our hands.

“We know how hard it is to come together with strangers and be expected to be spot on perfect, but you can do it.” Louis says and I smile.

“We just can’t wait for you guys to perform for us tomorrow.” Niall says and smiles. Ahhh he smiled at me!

“Now you all need to pick your songs and start practicing, see you all tomorrow.” Simon says and as we walk inside I feel the need to tell Harry that my sister loves him.

“Harry, I, um, my sister thinks she is going to marry you.” I laugh and he smiles.

“Tell her to let me know when the wedding is,” he says and winks. I was going to die.

Ashlee’s POV

“This is a strong song.” Eliana starts playing Bleeding Love.

“Or this one,” Leti points to My Life Would Suck Without You.

“I want to sing Torn but I feel like with One Direction here that wouldn’t be good. We would have to live up to them.” I say and everyone agrees.

“If you were my boyfriend, I’d never let you go. Keep you on my arm boy, you’d never be alone. I could be your baby girl.” Meghan sings and we all join in.

“Anything I want. If you were my boyfriend, I’d never never let you go.” We all start laughing.

“That actually wasn’t bad.” Eliana says.

“Who wants to?” I ask with a smile and everyone raises their hands.

“We need to decide on parts now.” Jessica says. And we start getting to work. This would be a long night.

I’m gonna fall like I don’t need saving. Tonight, tonight, I’m letting go, go, go, go.” Glitter sings. Really, what kind of name was that? I shouldn’t say anything, we were called Fetch for now.

“They aren’t bad.” Eliana says.

“But we are better.” Leti says and we watch them finish, and Simon and the boys give them feedback. Then HoJo goes, and then it’s our turn. We walk outside, and I’m sure I’m not the only one who is nervous. The music starts and I can’t stop staring at Zayn. I loved him…

“If you were my boyfriend I’d never let you go, I could take you places you ain’t never been before. Baby take a chance or you’ll never ever know. I got money in my hands that I’d really like to blow,” Meghan starts out the song.

“Swag, swag, swag, on you. Chilling by the fire while we’re eating fondue. I don’t know about me but I know about you so say hello to falsetto in three, two, swag.” Leti sings while dancing. Just like we practiced.

“I’d like to be everything you want. Hey boy, let me talk to you.” Jessica sings and we all join.

“If you were my boyfriend, I’d never let you go. Keep you by my side boy, you’d never be alone. I could be your baby girl, anything you want. If you were my boyfriend, I’d never, never let you go.”

“Tell me what you like; yeah tell me what you don’t. I could be your Buzlightyear fly across the globe. I don’t ever wanna fight yeah you already know. Imma make you shine bright like you’re lying in the snow, brr.” I sing my part.

“Boyfriend, boyfriend you could be my boyfriend. You could be my boyfriend until the epic world ends. You make me dance, do a spin and a twirl and voice going crazy on this hook like a whirl wind. Swaggie.” Eliana sings and Jessica goes again.

“I’d like to be, everything you want. Hey boy, let me talk to you.”

We finish the song and we all laugh together and then turn to Simon and the boys.

“I liked it,” Niall says.

“Just because it was a Bieber song,” Zayn laughs.

“No, it really was good.” Liam adds.

“I agree with the boys, it was very cute and great vocals. I think you girls will go far in this competition.” Simon says.

“Thank you so much.” We all say and run back to the house.

“Pinch me I must be dreaming!” I laugh and Jessica pinches me. “I am awake! It’s real!” I say and everyone laughs. We weren’t through yet though..

Simon’s POV

“It will be so tough to choose a top four to take through.” I say and the boys look at the pictures of the acts.

“I say these two for sure.” Harry says pointing to HoJo and one of the rap groups.

“And I liked these girls.” Louis points to Fetch.

“I think these girls are whiney, I don’t like them.” Zayn says about Porcelain.

“Agreed, they are out.” I say and throw their picture over my shoulder. The boys laugh and then I pull away another picture. “I say they are out because honestly I forgot their performance.”

“Me too,” Niall laughs. “Just because you are pretty doesn’t mean you will make it.”

“So we have our top four acts.” Liam says.

“HoJo, R Squared, Unknown, and Fetch.” I say. One of them would win, but I wasn’t sure which.

“Glitter, I am sorry, you are not through to the live shows.” They all start crying, but they leave soon and the next act is up.

“Congratulations Unknown, you are through.” I say and they jump up and down. I liked these boys, they seemed cool.

“R Squared you are through to the live shows.” It was becoming repetitive but I had to do it.

“HoJo, my boys think you have what it takes, you are through.” I say and the four go crazy. They even reminded me of One Direction a little.

“Porcelain, I’m sorry you girls will be going home. You did not make it to the live shows.” Just one group left. My group.

“Fetch, you girls are very good and both the boys and I were impressed by you. You are through.” I say and their faces go from worried to thrilled. They were through to the live shows. I had my team.
